I get your point. But I feel like something like basekit kindred would be better instead some sort of active communication tool between survivors during a match.
-
You mean during the match? Terrible ideia in my opinion. People would only get salty. Plus, what about console?
-
It's easy to find arguments to criticize dbd balancing, especially in a competitive/tournament setting. I don't think lots of players disagree with what you said. But how to you solve it? What do you propose to perfectly balance it then? It's clear that dbd is not the type of game to be featured in a esports competitive…
-
I don't get this type of complaint. So what's the solution here? Match top players with new players so the top players smash the new ones? What you just described sounds like a balanced scheme for me. You rank up, you get matched with ranked up players. That is just... obvious in every type of online game? Of course the…

Makes sense.

Doc, legion, blight, leatherface with BBQ are bloodpoint machines

Reporting player behaviour in game does not seem to punish anyone, ever. Maybe the reporting player for wasting their time. Now if you receive hate messages via PSN you can report and generally, depending on the offense, the offender is muted for some time. That psn mute system seems to be automated and my guess it is the…

I don't necessarily disagree with any of the things you said. Sometimes it's bad, I know. What I disagree with is the fact that you are trying to control how others play the game. Every player have to understand that they only get to control how they play and that's it.
-
No, wanting it better is all right. There is just something about writing so much making lesser issues seem so big that just don't feel right to me, that's all. My comment wasn't directed to any user in particular. I guess my opinion is that the issues do not overshadow the positive changes. Maybe what I see as a lesser…

If you play this game for a while, I would say it's hard to disagree that there was a better state than the current one. Particularly for killer. Not saying it's perfect, but I have some fun playing it. Seems like most people are so entitled nowdays that everything must be either perfect or complete trash. I win most…
-
What do you mean?? using any killer power already resets bloodlust.
-
here is a hug for you.
-
Why there are so many downers posting negative stuff on the forums? All these endless rants. There are a few issues around, true, but nothing that makes the game unplayable. In fact I think the game is in the best state it's ever been. I read this stuff and I wonder why are you still playing it and/or wasting time making…
-
This first paragraph says it all. OP, if you dislike the game so much, I recommend looking for something else to play, no offense.
-
But that's one of the cool things about dbd, it's simplicity. I think it's perfect the way it is.
-
Ok kid I get it, you are always right and everyone else is always wrong. Keep making up those facts, very mature of you. If you are so sure that's how bloodlust affects powers, then it's certainly not me who doesn't know how the game works. Great argumentation by the way. Have a nice sunday.
-
Bloodlust can be used to close the distance before attacking on any killer, yes. I did not said that otherwise anywhere and that was not your original claim. You are just trying to find errors in my reply by making them up. I simply stated the fact that it does not affects a killer power at all as you claimed "Hillbilly…
-
Bloodlust resets when a killer uses his power, hits a target or breaks a pallet. So it has no effect during any of the killer powers you mentioned. As to the topic, I don't think there is any kind of MMR currently. I don't know why they are experiments with that mechanic, I think it's fine the way it is.
-
The game is casual. There are no top 100 rankings and no reward for ranking up. Just play casually and don't worry about a number in your screen. And there is already custom game to create a match with any map, offering, perk etc which is unranked. Adding a casual mode separated from the normal queue that we currently have…
-
It happens in pretty much every pvp game. Do not take it personally.
-
Why is it an outdated mechanic?
-
ok
-
Of course I play for the fun. Dbd is a fantastic game. Like most pvp games though, there are going to be good and bad matches, wins and losses. Obviously it's always more fun to the winning side, but what makes the win exciting is that it doesn't happen every time. There gotta be losing matches to make the winning ones…
-
The game is casual. Rankings in dbd only matter in your head. Rank won't lock you out of any content at all or give you any rewards. And then there is custom game already. I feel that most times when people ask for a "casual" mode what they really want are easy games. Players want to play with people worse than them so…

Is there plans for console and PC cross progression?
-
ok
-
No need to announce that you're leaving, just leave. Also crossplay is not a problem, the problem is you.
-
This is a valid point. Camping not so much because almost everytime it's not really worth it for the killer, but tunneling is a complex topic to deal with because you basically need a perfect match as killer at red ranks without it, particularly against swf, to win.
-
This is indeed a common issue. Undying + ruin combo has given killer a bit more time to chase during a match, but ultimately does not address camp or tunelling problems. I feel that at this point changing the hook system would make it even harder for new killers but I'd be curious to see a system where once hooked, the…

Check steam charts. What you are saying goes against the available data, that is just your opinion and not a fact.
-
This game community is so negative and infantile, it's quite sad. You don't like the game, you can leave. But the trend that steam charts shows is that that dbd is in one of it's best spots in terms of popularity ever.
-
Undying and ruin is the new meta and it doesn't revolve around skill, it is more luck based in a sense due to how fast survivors will find and cleanse totems. It just give the killer more time and in maps like midwich, hawkings, mother's dwelling and other huge maps it makes finding and cleasing totems the main objective…

Most matches survivors 99 the gates to counter blood warden in case of a late game hook. In the rare occurrences where blood warden does activates, in a situation where there are 3 survivors at the same blocked gate and all get downed, it's 100% their fault. If the gates are opened and blood warden activates, leave the…

I agree. Mori (ebony, in this case) has a much bigger potential to affect more than one survival when compared to a key. Rarely more than one survivor escape with a key. In fact, rarely there is a key escape at all. Moris are much more commonly used because their requirement for use is much easier, just one hook and then a…
-
Complaining about a survivor perk that is good at best. Really? What's next? Resilience nerf? Bond is too strong? A player with sprint burst is much harder to deal with in the beginning of a chase when compared with a player with spine chill. So many times I just stumbled with a spine chill survivor that just left a gen in…

It really sounds like you are all playing a different game than me. It's incredible. Crossplay has been amazing. Instant matches on PS4 for both killer and survivor. All this talk that PC players are this and consoles players are that is on your head. I played probably more than 50 matches this weekend my escape and 4k…
