But Dead Hard isn't even that good. Once the survivor uses it, the killer just has to wait for them to use it. Easy counterplay. Something like Sprint Burst is better in most cases.
-
Map control is the most important thing. I definitely think they went too far too fast, but people saying they are gonna stop playing just because of the Ruin change are REALLY overreacting.
-
Exactly.
-
Autodidact: "My teammate is downed? Lemme use my 5 stacks for an instaheal."
-
We're not talking about gen speeds, we're talking about the abilities you are proposing. I'm talking about how YOUR idea would be in the MINORITY because it changes EVERYTHING about the game. The vast majority wouldn't be comfortable with basically having to relearn every little combination. Pick a topic and stick with it,…
-
We are talking strictly about a killer whose power is completely and utterly broken. There is no way for them to craft a power that checks all your little boxes without pissing someone off. You know that phrase "you can't please everyone"? It exists for a reason. THAT is the point.
-
No, I said "I don't think it's a terrible idea", not "I think it's a good idea". I'm not agreeing with your OP, but I'm merely stating that adding unbalanced things to an unbalanced things is a terrible idea. Putting the game in an overall worse state for the sake of abilities that survivors don't even need. Removing the…
-
Devs rarely pay attention to the minority. They pay attention to numbers. The majority always outweighs the minority in any business, because it's better for the game's overall health. If they upset the larger subset of people, that's more backlash, more people quitting, more negative reviews, which all impact income,…
-
Okay, you're missing my point. Something, someway, no matter how hard they work or how meticulous they are, a survivor's ability, when paired with certain perks and maps, would be unbalanced. It always happens. There will always be that one person who finds something that makes healing 2 survivor states happen far faster…
-
No one is disadvantaged because of a rework that a small group of people don't like it. You can't please everyone. Please bring a legitimate point to this discussion. No one is talking about discrimination, it's a basis of opinion. If the devs see that the majority doesn't have a problem, then it won't get fixed. Again,…
-
But you're saying that added something unbalanced SHOULD be added to an unbalanced game? Is it horrible of me to want them to fix the issues the game currently has before they throw more gasoline onto the fire?
-
Because the game IS unbalanced. I play both sides, I know this. And I never said that it isn't possible, but that if it was, it wouldn't be balanced. No one can guarantee that they would be all balanced when taking literally EVERY perk into consideration and how it would impact certain abilities, making specific…
-
Because that's how things work. Whatever pertains to the meta is the most used. That's not ignorance, it's fact. How many people do you see running DS, Adrenaline and Dead Hard in higher ranks? Abilities would have the same consequences. And you know damn well that nothing in this game is ever "equally powerful". Something…
-
The fact you're bringing race into a conversation that is clearly about numbers is really funny. Actually read what I posted, and you'll see we're actually talking about the numbers of players.
-
Seeing the exact same survivors every game wouldn't be fun for literally anyone. It's fine the way it is. Playstyles are what make survivors unique.
-
Okay...killer here. Why does everyone complain about survivors doing gens? "Gen Rushing" is an idiotic term, just like "Tunneling" and so on. That's literally their main objective...that's their ONLY main objective, aside from the exits gates. If you can't grasp the basics, allow to explain. In Dead By Daylight, all…
-
Because...people wanna play with their friends...? Also, you do know that if there is a red/purple rank with lower rank SWFs, then the system has compensate for the increased experience and put them with a killer in the medium levels between the gaps of ranks? It's the ranking system's issue, not the survivor's problems.
-
"Making excuses" First of all, to my knowledge, there are multiple basement challenges in Tomes 2 AND 3, and since they only are completed in niche situations, a lot of attempts is crucial to getting those objectives completed. You know what that means? A lot of people retrying in multiple games to get the objective. It's…
-
Then you're going to have to find the skill to work around it. Don't let them chase you into areas like that or just play killers that shut down chases really quickly. Simple solution to a simple problem.
-
"I just think they should consider the minority" You do know what the minority is...right? Like, the actual definition of "minority"? If the vast majority of players aren't having issues, why would they even consider the small group of people who are complaining about something? If they change it, they be upsetting the…
-
The fact that you're calling this "fat shaming" is honestly laughable and quite embarrassing. Just call it what it is, poor map design.
-
There are changes made right before release that impact the game in ways that weren't expecting. How do you know they haven't tried to fix the issue straight before release, but since they had a deadline, they weren't able to test the fix? You can't know everything and calling them "greedy" isn't exactly on the nose, for…
-
Yes, ALL KILLERS are taking advantage of BHVR's screw ups. We love a generalizing survivor main. Just do what the rest of us survivors do, be better at the game and you won't get hooked.
-
Yeah, this basement glitch has ruined a couple of games for me. But with every patch comes issues. Some that even the developers don't catch. That's just coding, sis.
-
That couldn't have LITERALLY ANYTHING to do with the numerous BASEMENT CHALLENGES now could it? Shame on us! Shame on us! Shame on us! Seriously, as a Survivor and Killer player, it's so sad to see you accusing so many people over something most people don't even know about. You need to chill out.
-
It's up to each individual player. Just because you think that we shouldn't give them our money because you think they are "money hungry" is an insult to the people behind the game and an insult to the people who pay to support said developers. Yes, they have made some bad choices throughout the years this game has been…
-
I honestly couldn't care less. If they choose to give out or to not give our certain cosmetics, then it's their choice. I'm not gonna go make a petition for cosmetics that aren't even really that good. Plus, they don't impact gameplay in anyway, shape or form. If the people who earned those skin don't feel like the Devs…
-
I was playing on my alt to practice with my Nurse. I'm a rank 18 on that profile. I went against a rank 4. ...
-
People throw around the word "toxic" way too much.
-
LOL! 😂
-
What...
-
Clown's perks aren't that great, if I'm being honest. Coulrophobia isn't good unless you're running it with Distressing, Infectious Fright and Nurse's Calling (a anti-healing meme build) and Bamboozle is pretty situational on whether or not you'll get use out of it. It's usually better to go around and object and moonwalk…
-
I would recommend remaining somewhat stealthy for as long as possible, then, once someone gets hooked, have someone open the gates and as soon as that endgame bar pops up, unhook them. If the killer is nearby, do EVERYTHING in your power to keep them from getting downed. Though one of my friends sandbagged someone and they…
-
It honestly depends on whether or not I managed to obtain my personal goals in the match or whether or not I pip, get a 4k, escape the match, etc. It can range from excited from outplaying the killer/survivors to stressed out or pissed off at myself for missing obvious blinks.
-
Both sides have their pros and cons and when I'm burned out from one, I'll play the other.
-
Plague main, so I'm a bit biased. But Spirit isn't something I would suggest. You'll probably get bored of her really quickly like most people have.
-
Plague main here... She absolutely has the ability to be counter played. But most people don't know that because Plague is one of, if not the most unpopular killers in the game.
-
I think Dance With Me, Lithe, Lucky Break and Iron Will would be a FANTASTIC combination during chases. If you can break line of sight, being discovered by the killer will be very difficult.
-
Xbox One player here. I have LITERALLY never had green ping on anything and my internet is great! I don't understand why it suddenly drops to absolute crap and I get hit across the map.
-
I was lucky enough to unhook someone as soon as the gates opened. I was scared that I would be put in a similar situation and never get the challenge done.
-
I wholeheartedly agree.
-
As an Xbox player and a Plague, Nurse and Hag main, I completely see where you're coming from. But please don't give up on a fun killer like Wraith just because some Survivors are legitimate crybabies over add-ons. Play the game however you want. Don't care about how they feel. Facecamp and tunnel till your heart's…
-
Nearly P3 on Jane... I only like her because I love her cosmetics. Her perks aren't the best (though Head On is a guilty pleasure of mine) but I'd honestly prefer to play a survivor that isn't as...I think "loud" is a generous word to use? I just throw other people's perks on her and that's it. I rarely use her perks. I…
-
Based on who I'd least like to go against...I'd have to say Bubba. Killers with instadowns are my worst nightmares.
-
I'm starting to find her the same way. She's good to me, but I'm not really sure if it's worth learning her anymore. It's the same with Spirit for me, honestly. Maybe it's just my bad experiences with both killers in my survivor games, but they are just less appealing to me now then before I picked them up (I still hate…
-
I like to have my Survivor and Killer sensitivity on the same level, so it's 75% on both. It took a while to figure out what I like for both.
-
It's not a dedicated server problem, it's a Dead by Daylight problem. Matchmaking has been an issue for as long as I can remember.
-
They need to fix the emblems, honestly. I don't think the devs are even paying attention to killers with instadowns. I stopped playing Myers just because I could never pip with him. If I went into tier 3, I was sure to bypass the chaser emblem and end up only getting a safety pip...even if I got a 4k.
-
But the Nurse is still really good though. You just actually have to pay attention to where you are blinking now so you don't waste charges. It's not a nerf. But now it's even harder to learn her, so it's fair that it turns some people away from her. As a Nurse main, it kind of hurts my heart to see so many people beg for…
