Rarely play at this point. Been having fun with Don't Starve Together and Overcooked 2. Less likely to play once WoW Classic comes out.
-
I like the idea. They could even branch this concept to creating perks that buff a survivor based on the number totems destroyed on the map.
-
What if I want to play with a buddy and set it up as a drinking game?
-
Thank you Behavior for introducing a game with many killers, survivors, and more.
-
Darn. Oh well. 😕
-
Some players buy the game to play only one side. Not everyone is patient to play survivor before playing a killer match.
-
I don't think it's worth especially with all of the perks a player would have to get back even after level 50. Some players wouldn't even be using the skins that much if they prefer a different one from the shop.
-
This title is pretty weird when MoM got nerfed. I thought that was from the devs. listening to the feedback.
-
I like both the key or lockpick (from TerminalEntropy's post) idea. The current issue I've seen with the hatch is that getting the gate open can be hard for a survivor when the doors are next to each other on the same side of the map. Killers have more power in searching the map with faster movement speed, and they don't…

🍪 Whether you're a survivor or a killer, everyone deserves a cookie. 🍪
-
Killer: Stress of time. Survivor: Hitboxes, killers who lack counterplay, dcs, and teammates taking a poop instead of doing generators or totems.
-
Rank rewards, new game modes, and new hiding spots (e.g. coffins, water barrels, ovens).

I can see your concern on the decrease of the player base, and why you want to know what's happening to the developers. I just wouldn't know if the problems you've addressed is all of the reasons why people leave. In fact, one way to solve a problem can cause more problems for this game. I slowly stopped playing DbD…

I'm curious if they have statistics that prove or don't prove what you say. You speak of one side, but don't consider players who play this game solo instead of swf. ~ It takes them a long time to get things updated. Take a break from this game if it's too much, and wait for updates that you would be interested.
-
I wouldn't mind much with this change, but the devs could buff something for the survivors. After all, it sucks for a team that's working efficiently on the generators, and then a killer gets a pip because of a perk that steam rolls a team (situational but can happen). The buff(s) could be: What the comments have said…

Technically looping is a skill. I agree it's easy to run in circles, but a loop is strong depending on the map. There's a big difference between a person who memorizes the map to know what are safe areas to run a killer vs. noobs who run like chickens with their head off.

What makes the loops strong is when survivors memorize the map, so they know the safe areas to run the killer around. I'm using a GTX 1060 to play DbD, and it works great from low to ultra settings. Then again I max cap my frames to either 50 or 60. For other games, my pc does struggle with Rust & a little with Hunt: Showdown even on low settings. My guess is that I need more RAM as I currently have 8gb.
-
I agree, it's strange to think a player isn't a killer/survivor when the opposite option is there. Like a survivor/killer main isn't going to be curious of what the other side is like one day....yikes. I guess I'm not too surprised by these type of posts. Probably because I just assume they have the mindset that's similar…

Depends on the survivors. Some go for meta builds, while others have a different opinion on what's a strong perk. Others might have a day where they say "######### it, let me try this perk." Personally, I've used Bond occasionally if I don't want to use self care. Bond is helpful for other things to: ~Seeing where my…

I agree as these were similar reasons of how I rated DbD. Especially LoL where you can be stuck in a 30-60 min. match and 2-3 people are arguing in chat. Feels like a waste of time especially when players don't want to leave b/c they don't want to get timed out or lose rank. Not sure if it's different with today's LoL, but…

I'm assuming you're questioning killers camping more because of the nerf to BBQ on aura readings due to lockers and the distortion perk. I can make my comment more clear with what I'm saying. If killers camp because they are upset that BBQ was nerfed on aura readings, it's sad that they can't find another build to use.
-
-
I think this buff is a good idea because I would be able to keep track how many totems my teammates have destroyed in solo especially when survivors want to stop NOED.
-
I agree with BBQ is a strong perk for Hillbilly and Nurse especially if they're also using Whispers. Not sure on Spirit + BBQ since I haven't had enough games with that combo. Even so, I don't think increasing the range is going to help as Hillbilly would still be pretty fast to get an idea of where to go. Lowering the…
-
I agree the aura reading is strong on hillbilly and nurse (haven't had enough games w/ Spirit + BBQ to agree/disagree), however increasing the range will probably not help as Hillbilly would still be fast to move to your direction. 70 meters might be too much of a nerf. Lowering the aura sounds interesting, but would have…
-
@Tsulan I remember when Leatherface came out, but I don't think it really changed how much people camped. Basing on forum posts to judge how much camping occurs isn't that accurate because not every DBD player writes on a forum. Sadly don't know where that kind of data can be found in game unless the devs. have it. :/…
-
@Tsulan Some would go for the gens to kick them especially if they have Pop Goes The Weasel. Others would prefer to search around the area, and see if they can hit someone nearby because that would cause another survivor to stop repairing and get the hooked survivor. A killer can still see the survivor's aura behind a gen.…
-
I don't think barbecue reduced camping. Killers still camp whether they are using the perk or not because they want to secure a kill. Gates are open and you get someone on the hook. Would you go for the 3 people closer to the gate, or take the one life you caught already? Four seconds to wait for the aura to come off, so…

If instaheals are that big of an issue, why isn't Franklin's demise meta? Seems like most of you guys don't like ultra rare or rare addons even though killers have these type of addons to. Might as well just say that survivors shouldn't use the best addons at any rank. Now if the issue is there are too many people using…

This guy has another post called "Killer rank 1" that's about long queue times for killer. Take what you want with that info. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/10358/killer-rank-1-queue-time-is-insane#latest
-
I don't think the devs. would only allow the killer to change the map for solo/SWF. In Kill Your Friends, the host can choose the map. Even if the devs. did make this change, they would have to delete all of the map offerings that people had spent with bloodpoints. As to your comment on DbD being a stealth game, it's more…
-
Don't know how that would impact on the game's business, but it could help with the grind to earn new skins that come out in future patches.
-
* I don't know if that would work because the game ends if the killer leaves the game. Even if the game continues when the killer leaves, Evader and Benevolent emblems cannot be fulfilled. Then it becomes a survivor race to get a pip in Lightbringer. * I can see how checking ping for the other survivors can occur on the…

My guess is most people are used to a looping strategy than trying to find other methods to escape in a chase. "Losing a killer" in a chase can be difficult with scratch marks, tracking perks/addons/killer's power, and not knowing when is the best time to hide during a chase.

@Superyoshiegg said: How to get up after a chainsaw hit and many other injuries: 1. 1000 pallet drops 2. 100 fast vaults 3. 100 enter/exit of a locker 4. Lift 1000 survivors 5. A 100 mile run 6. Finally, 1000 crouches to finish the day 7. Steps 1-6 are repeated everyday.
