good suggestions overall!

People always bring up new players and bad players. New players should not run distortion and sit on gens and behind rocks all the time. They will quickly loose their newbie protection and soon after that they will reach the mmr softcap - they are now thrown into the wild and are not prepared for it. They will be the…

Why are you trying to kill the messenger? Even if you don't like their answer, that's how things are here in DBD. None of the things you listed are bannable offenses for BHVR. Your reports are only clogging up the support line, maybe they even get removed automatically by some keyword algorithm. Here is a link to their…

Look here, I found the perfect game for you. Have fun!
-
Why do DBD people always have to bring up "the other side"? Could have just said "Why can't slugged survivors not leave the void" instead of including completely unrelated whining about killers using their power and being undetectable in there.
-
It’s on the survivor team to make use of those extra 10+10 seconds, they will do nothing on their own. Add in reassurance, multiples if you are in a swf, and you will literally feel the killers desperation while still continuing to camp. Just don’t play stupid, use what the devs are giving to you! This was already possible…
-
they won’t, they never do.even when eeeeeevery match is miserable, they still keep playing
-
Xeno the most disappointing? Don't take that title away from Freddy, it's all he got left ;)
-
Need a bit more details: How many survivors escaped? Did only you survive? If yes, escaped through the gate or hatch?
-
They should implement a system similar to the cheater servers in old dark souls games. Let the people who dc frequently only play against each other, then they can have a little race of who dc‘s first. And if your internet is so bad that you can barely play a match of DBD, play custom games with your friends or a single…
-
Ok, one question: How many killers do this? Answer: One. One killer did this to you, and they propably had a daily or an old tome challenge. Nobody would waste so much time on dribbling a survivor; and then they have to waste even more time catching that survivor again. Survivors can finish have their gens in the time PH…

If SWF gives no advantages, we can start balancing the game around SWF vs. Killer, right? Solo queue players for sure would love it.
-
Now look at you, trying to argue with logic and reason in this forum ;) Feels like I saw a unicorn!
-
Some people still remember the times, when games were played just for playing the game. Not for some battle passes, events or FOMO cosmetics… oh dear, I'm old.
-
I mean, this will never get implemented but I have to vote "yes" ;) USA! USA!
-
Why? Why should there be a comeback mechanic in this situation?
-
Tombstone Myers is very happy that people are having so much fun playing against him.
-
Mistakes were made… so many mistakes. No amount of perks would have helped that team, be glad it was over rather quickly.
-
Because it has absolutely nothing to do with autoaim?
-
Last second switching, but this time survivor-vs-survivor edition, I’m loving it 😁
-
Quick switching is just BMing before the game even started.
-
Please elaborate?
-
Yes, „nothing“ is better than data from a somewhat closed community, a small specific part of the whole playerbase, that relies on voluntary data.
-
I expect noone will use it after the first two weeks, maybe some full SWF groups will get some use out of it but not solos.
-
"...off the record, into the ds, into the dh" Seems like anti-tunnel perks are still working 😁
-
Pinky Finger, just like every other insta-down addon, should be completely reworked, they are just impossible to balance. Don't give insta-downs to killers that are not designed around it.
-
Man, you really need to take a break from DBD and get a clear head. You’re getting way to angry over a video game. Have a nice day!
-
Not good enough! Make it like Tricksters' blades, at least 6 hits for one health state.
-
Now this was deep, I have a lot to think about today 😀
-
Are you guys at least wearing your tin foil hats when posting stuff like this, like there is this secret killer main society in McCotes basement with him wearing dark robes: "Brothers, we are going to buff DS, but no worries we have a plan!" Or maybe the killer main circle captured his hamster and holds it hostage "You…
-
Yeah, the BNP effect might make it worth the effort. I can imagine some memers running this with No Mither 😁 Otherwise this perk is dead on arrival.
-
The first chase alone should last long enough for 2-3 gens to be finished, depending on killer perks and spawn locations (except against a cracked Nurse, ok). The full map is available to the survivor, all the ressources, WoO + propably one exhaustion perk. I wonder how some SOLO teams manage to do this, even against…
-
If it is not a team game, can we get rid of SWF, or put them into a seperate queue? Just asking for a friend.
-
Or just make basekit BT not trigger deep wound,... but this will get abused by body blocking, so yeah, loosing collision is the better way to go!
-
Uninteractive, unfun, toxic, skillless... so many words have lost their meaning in DBD. I wonder what the next one will be.
-
Yes, stick to gens, use the 60 seconds of hook time! No incentive will reduce tunneling, buffed DS will not reduce tunneling (but I still hope it will get a decent buff), 90 seconds hook time will also not reduce it. It will make camping less efficient but instead increase tunneling. The danger of loosing the match will…
-
Yes, if people would just stick to gens instead of hiding near the hook, ready to unhook instantly once the killer walked 2 meters away. So hard to learn, 6 years have not been enough time...
-
That's how you do, if the killer wants to tunnel you, make it as difficult for them as possible. WoO is the most used survivor perk, but apparently auras are to difficult to understand for most players. Now all your teammates have to do, is pressure gens. If they dont, they are the ones at fault. There should never ever be…
-
A tunneling killer puts no pressure on gens. If survivors are too afraid to do gens, well... Yes, killers can bring perks to delay gens, but survivors can bring stuff to speed up gens, extend chases and increase survival. A killer that wants to tunnel will always keep an eye on the hook and a hook stage takes 60 seconds.…
-
They propably don't...
-
You have to realize, you and "many" others are just a small, miniscule part of their playerbase. Even all people on their forums together are negligable. BHVR has lost their "small indie dev team" status years ago. They became a company like many others. They look at revenue numbers. Are people still paying for their game,…
-
Well, it is their game, they decide, how they want it to be and they have been aiming for this for years now. Remember, they are also happy how their MMR is working ;) I've been quiting quite a lot of games in my gaming career so far, because I didn't like the way their devs handled them. That's just the way it is.
-
I can live with that, yes. But I never connected tunneling to genrush, but that's propably because the thread went on for too long. Also, definately no us vs. them here, no worries. I've been playing this game since nurse release on both sides, although the usual BM made me switch to survivor a lot more ;)
-
Ok, I really hope, your personal experience stays like thus. Have fun in your games and cherish it.
-
Really know? You really think the number of farming or afk killers is higher than the number of matches in which a survivor gives up on first hook 30 seconds into the game - which is basically equal to a DC?
-
Uhm no, there was no mentioning of genrush so far, that comes later in this thread. We are still talking about how survivors without distortion are getting "tunneled" and it's the killers fault.
-
What about the second part of my post?
-
Sadly facts that most people dont want to hear and choose to ignore.
-
If you are bringing up the recent stats, please keep in mind, stats are almost where the devs want them to be. And they are including games in which the first survivor gives up on their first hook. So the real escape rate in games, in which nobody is throwing a tantrum for whatever obscure reason, is much higher.
-
Depends on your teammates and how good MMR was working. Propably going to be a tough game but with 4 5k hours survivors doable; maybe not a 4man escape but a few could make it out. Also, 4948 hours of playtime does not equal 4948 hours on Blight.
