  • If the killer has NOED, active, then there was probably enough time to do totems, as the survivors would have had to complete all generators. Anyway, probably won't be getting a response from me. As fun as it is discussing things with actual cool people, being under the eye of such tyrannical authority isn't my cup of tea.…
  • I mean, it's a bit overkill, but I don't see why not. The survivor is practically screwed anyway at that point if they didn't find the hatch. If they get caught trying to get a door, it doesn't matter whether they take 1 hit or 2 hits after you close the hatch, they aren't getting out.
  • Usually I'll just approach a survivor and if they start running, I just stop and stare at them. Most of the time when they notice I stop, they turn around and check, and when they see me standing there, they usually turn around and start acting silly with me. When they don't turn around, I'll chase them like normal, and…
  • I find that hard to believe when Hag and Spirit still exist. Maybe he'll be like a top 5 or top 8 or something, but I think they top 3 for a while now will remain Hag, Spirit, Deathslinger. For me personally, it's honestly Nurse, Michael, and Pig, but I have my own reasons.
  • If you can't understand why he's so bad... Not really sure what to say. I feel like for most people that have played him/seen gameplay of him should be well aware. I think you should use a different word than "rework." Like, turning down Blight's turn rate isn't necessarily a rework as much as a numbers adjustment. Same…
  • From what I see, a lot of people aren't having fun against him at least. Mostly because of the zombies. I've tried playing him, and he feels a bit clunky and not that fun to me. Playing against him personally, I don't really have a lot of an opinion. He's not hard to go against, but the zombies are kind of annoying because…
  • You must have never seen/experienced a match where survivors break all 2 or 3 hex totems you have within the first 2 minutes of a match, and also end up finding out that they have 0 hex hunting perks. Also, if people just started realizing totem hunting actually has value to it, and maybe started bringing totem hunting…
  • I'm pretty sure you yourself have to break the totems. Maybe it just doesn't seem like enough speed since you aren't getting all the totems? Though, I'm assuming you would have broken totems before trying to test for quicker speeds, so I'm not sure beyond that.
  • If I wanted to put words in your mouth, I would be doing so instead of asking for clarification. If you can't let go of your cynicism and sensitivity to perceived micro aggressions though, then I don't have any reason to continue with you. You do not get to choose what I mean with my words. Just because you think the…
  • The fact that your very first sentence is suggestive that I'm at all "looking for a fight" shows where your mind is at. I'm just explaining that I think there's merit in running a key for aura reading. You, on the other hand, obviously are just wanting to perceive things as a fight. I like maps too, but the fact is they're…
  • Don't count it out. They have officially stated that licensed characters are not out of the realm of possibility when it comes to them making lore.
  • I mean, you say you can aim where a survivor was and get a hit, but then turn around and immediately next say that she isn't broken? I mean, sounds pretty broken to me. If it don't work properly, it's broken.
  • Classic.

  • For me: All the time - Pig Usually - Bubba, Ghostface, Freddy, Nurse, Hag, Huntress, Trickster, Billy, Myers, Twins, Trapper, Demogorgon, Oni Often - everyone else
  • I'm just building up my stalk bar, I swear! 👀

  • The one big argument against this I hear is "oh well then everybody would just pick whatever survivor has the best unique perk," but I still don't see the problem with that. If anything, it will just make balance issues more obvious, kind of like how it was obvious how strong DS was by how everybody was running it.
  • Doesn't matter if they don't take that long when the item, at least in the idea I pitched, has two different uses. You don't have to use them for opening chests if you don't give a crap about chests, and just because you don't value aura reading, doesn't mean that people wouldn't find it worthwhile to bring for aura…
  • It makes total sense. He said any other item in the bloodweb is more valuable. Sorry you don't get it. And sure, if you want to say "oh he meant specifically items as in toolboxes or medkits," I still disagree as nobody ever uses maps, and I hear plenty of people call toolboxes useless too.
  • If you're complaining about the realism, then like the other guy already said, "it's a game." If you're complaining about the balance, I do think survivors should have more pull over how they get dragged. Often times, it just feels like you're going straight into him. Even in times where I get shot with a piece of debris…
  • Other kiddie games like ROBLOX and Club Penguin likely also censor it, both games having comparably horrendous chat filters.
  • First of all, nobody "paid" for the map. Everybody gets it for free. But, I do wish they had a system where it disallowed a map to be played more than once in a row without a map offering or something. Like sure, if you're just spamming your Ormond offerings because you like the snow or something, then more power to you.…
  • So you'd rather take a "slightly increases thick mist" offering than an item that allows you to read the aura of the killer or give you a temporary Bond effect, like a 5th perk slot?
  • Because it would save you time in trials just like a toolbox maybe? Because you can still use it for aura reading maybe? Literally just as an aura reading item alone, at least for me personally, I think keys are valuable enough to choose in a bloodweb. Especially if your choice is between something like that and a fog…
  • I honestly don't see why that's relevant though. I've never even come into contact with the franchise myself, but from what I hear, there's an alternate version (like a newer reboot or something?) of JC that isn't credited whatsoever to the original director (forgot his name.) Granting this all is true, then I don't see…
  • I mostly played as survivor, because I thought the gameplay fantasy of "flee in terror from a spooky killer" sounded awesome. You can probably tell of what kind of game I thought it was, and you can imagine how I probably played accordingly. The whole hooking system was so odd to me, because I didn't really watch any…
  • Probably one of the best decisions you can make in this game. If you like talking to people that much, be ready for plenty of stuff like that. I deal with it mostly by just laughing at the idiots and chatting pleasantly with the non-idiots.
  • I think it would just be a lot easier to make them be used on chests instead. I mean, the chests have locks on them that the survivors even grab and pull off. Why couldn't we just use a key to either be like a toolbox for a chest (significant speedup over several searches) or just instantly open one? Take away the hatch…
  • No flag-DS please. That would be terrible. 😂
  • The only people who get that impression are those who assume it. Otz never says the killers are good just because he does a streak with them, and has even come out and said that he doesn't want to give that impression. It's just supposed to be like a fun challenge, and nobody should tell him that he's not allowed to try a…
  • As long as it's not something like Suffocation Pit where you can have like 3 L-T walls that all loop into each other, they're fine.
  • As you said yourself, it's not all players in that role that are that way, and I tend not to generalize, but I still agree with your overall experiences. Mine have been like that too. Survivors are usually pretty ruthless, even to their own team mates, and even sometimes more so than the killer. I have few enough…
  • Gimme an addon that just strips away everything every survivor and killer has. Like a Sacrificial Ward offering, but it just purges everything. Make an an iridescent called, IDK... Black Hole or something. Make it a completely new tier of item that's really rare and costs like 15k BP or something, IDC.
  • Notice how many times you said something like "This example situation isn't toxic (buuuuut...) The reason I bring this up, is because you point out specific ways of doing it that aren't toxic, but some of the things you listed, do have people doing it in a way that's relatively "toxic." Like sure, downing and rehooking a…
  • I mean, I see youtubers, Monto or noob3 for example, doing "Toxic (insert killer here videos)" often. You don't think they would do those if they didn't gain any traction, do you? Even streamers will take in requests and get viewers requesting "toxic killer builds." Not saying the situations you discussed in your post…
  • It would be awesome if they could somehow think of a system to allow players to vote for the map they want out of a selection, maybe 3 assorted maps that get voted on out of all of them. Unfortunately, with survivors being 4 and the killer being 1, I don't see that working out. But my thoughts? I agree on all your points,…
  • I don't think people should be discouraged from sharing their opinions and trying, no matter how slim the chances are, to get some eyes from BHVR to see it. That's how changes actually happen. It might send a message too if people stop playing, but without people speaking up, all BHVR would see is "uh oh player count…
  • How would you be allowed to pick maps when everybody else has to play on it, and also do it without offerings? Would every map just get its own queue?
  • They all look like mostly a crap ton of gen slowdown perks. Should give you similar results no matter which of those combos you use. I dislike corrupt because I like permanent perks, not temporary ones. That's just a personal taste though. BBQ build is always nice, if you care about the bloodpoints. My build I find myself…
  • Never had that on Doctor, and he's one of my more favored killers. Hopefully just one of those things that will happen once and you'll never experience again.
  • While I have your attention, can you inform me of if Nemesis has come into the game yet?
  • The real question is, why are so many of your posts and comments survivor-biased baits when you constantly whine about this forum being completely killer biased? Shouldn't you be on a survivor main reddit or something?
  • SWF - not much opinion. If having to choose over it being nerfed and solo being buff, I choose solo buff. Don't punish people playing with friends. But, still, SWF is outright the strongest playstyle. No denying it. Keys - I think the reason people get worried when they see a key (I know I definitely dodge keys when I'm…
  • They literally said in the 5th anniversary livestream, and I quote, "Boon Totem Perks will give a brand new interaction to Survivors standing next to a Dull Totem in a Trail." So no, you won't be cleansing the boon totem for a bonus.
  • I'm pretty sure it's literally just people being so insecure that they have to derive their pleasure from bringing others pain (in this case, in the form of ruining their time gaming).
  • Right now I honestly am trying to focus more on iridescent shard grinding, in turn making it desirable for me to get 10-ish minute games. If I play normally and just try to kill everybody, preferably without a crap ton of gen slowdown, then that's the ideal situation. Problem is, for me at least it feels like nearly every…
  • They probably don't want to release one because they're already well aware of how horrible the overall feedback has been.

  • I think it's evident from any time they've not had/gotten rid of dc penalties temporarily, and the enormous flare of DCs that follows, that these DCs mostly aren't coincidental. You don't even have to look any further than this thread, even the very first reply, to see how unapologetically people do it.
