Respectfully, I heavily disagree. I rarely survive in 1v4, but I almost always survive in 2v8... Each playing solo. The matches I die in, I've noticed most of my teammates are crouched behind rocks, they're afraid to ever leave scratchmarks, and want to run to the corner of the map to heal. Other matches we've got five…

I came back from a 2-3 year break recently and picked up Dredge - genuinely don't feel like any buffs are needed, but I'm also probably not in very high mmr yet. I've found with the right perks, it's a VERY oppressive killer... If I had to choose any sort of buff, it'd simply be to have your teleport ready at the very…
-
Also this. It's especially annoying when they've got a wiggle build, teammates sabotaging hooks, etc...
-
I've experienced the same with Dredge, Lich, and Myers. Suuuper annoying, especially when it's a full team with wiggle/hook sabo builds...
-
That was a big reason I uninstalled. Figured I'd try that, take a break, and see if I ever feel like coming back. That was right when Pinhead was released, and the poor optimization alone is still enough to make me cringe at the thought of reinstalling this game (not to mention the stale, repetitive gameplay that began to…

My guilty pleasure has always been the Wrong Turn franchise. If you've seen anything past the first one or the new reboot, you'd understand why I call it a guilty pleasure lol. I recently watched Hush and REALLY liked that killer, especially while he wore the mask. Definitely can't go wrong with Leslie Vernon either.…

Feels appropriate

I'll sell this for $250!
-
Much better, thx!

I really liked that movie. I wish I was around when it came out to really experience the confusion so many people felt as to whether or not it was a real documentary or just a movie masked as one very well. I don't think those lines could be blurred the same way today as they were back then
-
That's great and all, but none of those give me a receipt saying I bought it! 0/10 terrible advice.
-
I was on a landscaping crew for three years when I started college. Our company was just 4-5 of us any given season, as opposed to other companies splitting 20-25 guys into separate crews, and you know what that meant? It meant taking on a smaller workload than those larger companies so we could get every job done right…

My favorite that I've played recently has been the Outlast series. I'd also have to second RE7 and 8 as mentioned above. State of Decay 2, World War Z, and Back 4 Blood (especially swarm mode!) are some that I've been enjoying recently as well. Also, happy birthday!
-
I know you said not to include movies so bad that they're good, but I feel like this one's so hit or miss with most people that it *might* be just bad in your eyes. If not, well, hopefully you unfortunately enjoy it..? Anyway, check out Thankskilling:

If you play solo I almost suspect that sbmm, in some aspects, makes matches easier for better survivors and more difficult for others. Think about it: if you perform better, sbmm wants to pair you with better teammates and have you face a stronger killer. I don't know about you, but I don't think a good killer is too…

I'd love a horror game. I want that thrill I felt the first time I heard that heartbeat coming closer on Macmillan Estate. I've grown into feeling more comfortable playing survivor than I am killer and that just feels backwards. I also understand that BHVR has the right to do whatever they wish to do with their game.…

I'm disappointed in them. I've uninstalled largely because many new chapters that could've been great either felt lazy or just unfinished in my opinion. The same game mode over and over has gotten stale, and new chapters just seem to break the game on release. I wouldn't say I wish I never played, but I question why I…

This is love
-
No, I think I'm gone regardless of what they do next. I've been hoping they'd do something to spice up the game and I'd be able to reignite my love for it, but now they've gone and done the opposite of that in a pretty drastic manner. Between that and leaving us with empty promises for years (still waiting on console…
-
I haven't found anything on xbox one too similar to DBD but if you're into horror or horror-esque games, some of my favorites include State of Decay 1 and 2, Outlast 1, 2, and Whistleblower, and the Resident Evil series (I'm particularly a fan of RE7). Sorry if those are obvious answers lol Another one that I'd like to get…
-
Pretty close race between Ghostface and Myers for me, but Ghostface is just a little more fun to play as in my opinion. Seeing how people react to becoming exposed when they don't see you is half the fun lol
-
I thought it was great. Michael seemed much more aggressive than we've ever seen him before, and they showcased that aggression largely on side characters, probably for a reason. I think Halloween 2018 showed us what Laurie is capable of, and Halloween Kills showed us what Michael is capable of. I wouldn't be surprised to…
-
I'm not entirely gone, but I've probably only played like three matches in the last two months. The formula is just stale for me. I love the concept, but doing the same objectives over and over and over again just feels pointless. I think there's potential for different game modes that could make me fall back in love with…
-
Absolutely agreed, new chapters don't even feel new anymore. I feel like I fell into a routine of almost always exclusively playing dbd for years and even though I got bored, it was just "the game I played" in my mind. I've been branching out to more games recently and kind of forgot how much fun I used to have gaming. I'm…
-
Almost forgot you asked about movies as well! Some of my favorites specifically on Shudder (had to keep the list condensed somehow lol) are: They Look Like People Summer of 84 Hell House, LLC Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon The Furies (actually has a bit of a dbd feeling to it) Random Acts of Violence The Call…
-
I recently played Outlast 1, Whistleblower, and 2, and can confidently say that those are some of the best horror games I've ever played; they just kept getting better in my opinion. Resident Evil 7 is the first horror game I've played and I absolutely love that game as well! Much of what's next on my list is in the thread…

Even as a stealth killer I hate Hawkins. Can't wait for it to be gone
-
Luca says thanks (:
-
We buy our cat flowers and he loves it
-
Happened to me quite often on Xbox. It's never been an internet issue either, I could immediately hop right into any other online game with no issues
-
Some things that have really helped me over the years are having an "escape from the world" routine, self-care, and productivity. I had a lot of big changes in my life in my third year of college and quite literally spent half of my first semester that year lying in bed just dreading the future and where I was at in life.…
-
That combat kind of looks like State of Decay on crack. I love it!

Grandpa_Crack_Pipe has upgraded to Grandpa_Crack_Your_Skull_With_A_Pipe

I haven't put any money into the game since the trickster came out. Even then, I didn't put too much in toward cosmetics. But after the RE chapter and how laggy this game has been on my Xbox I've made the decision to not put any more money into this game until they prove that they can release a few chapters without making…
-
Some decent competition is all I'd need. I'm very much looking forward to Evil Dead, Back 4 Blood, and whatever Gun Media is working on. Dbd had my heart for years but the 4v1, same objectives every match, bugs on console, etc... is becoming very stale. I'm just ready for something new, and something that works.
-
They announced console optimization nearly three years ago, so it should be ready aaaaaaaaaany day now 🙃 I feel your pain. We'll probably suffer through this for as long as they continue making a high enough profit from consoles
-
If I had to guess, they'll eventually come to terms with the fact that they just can't fix this game at the same rate they break it. And of course, they won't be transparent about that fact and will instead just milk their playerbase with new chapters and cosmetics for as long as they can until it's no longer profitable.
-
I really don't think BHVR could handle two DBD's. I mean, look how much they struggle with one lol
-
I'm more than comfortable if we've got a gen done before the first hook. If we've got two gens done before the first hook, I'm hunting for totems because we've got a very good start but NOED could take that away later
-
I'm bored but moreso frustrated. I've put a lot of money into this game over the four years I've been playing and it runs worse now than it did when I started despite them saying they were going to focus on console optimization 2.5 years ago. Also, the repetitive nature of each match is growing very stale and I'm finding…
-
Console issues are probably at the top right now. Sometimes the game freezes because of an exhaustion perk, gens popping, people being hooked, unhooked, etc... Other times it's just because I'm near another player. But hey, glad they announced console optimization 2.5 years ago...
-
So, uhhh... Do totems. People always say only bad killers use NOED, so you should have plenty of time to do them
-
NoEd iS sUCh a cRutCh PErK, you only use it if you're a bad killer and have NO skill. That's why I always play with no perks, no add-ons, no offerings, only killers who move at 110% and don't EVER use their power because those are all crutches. In case you couldn't tell, that means I'm a REALLY good killer and have…
-
Survivor games have gotten so screwed on my end. I'm usually matching with killers that I can run for like 2-3 minutes (that almost never happened before), but I'm also matching with survivors who just do laps around the map with urban evasion instead of working on gens, so in the end I usually die anyway.
-
This happens to me every time I get the RPD map. Also on Xbox one
-
RPD makes it look like something I used to play on PS2 every time I get that map 💁♂️
-
I ran it once for like a month just to counter the doctor. Didn't see him once so I took it off and the very next match was against the Doc 😂
-
Doc hates survs who try this with Calm Spirit 😎
-
I had a similar occurrence one time on the old Thompson House: Playing Myers and peeking at some survivors working on the upstairs gen while I was on the ground. Accidentally popped T3 instead of just getting it to 99%, so I go into the house to try to stop the gen. Friggin Meg must've panicked when I popped T3 and drops…
