Even if you are the last survivor, if it is your first hook you have three chances to pull yourself off hook. They're small chances (4% each if memory serves) but you still have the chance. Are you saying there should be a higher chance for them?

Comparing them only in the sense that teamwork is necessary and people agree that comms makes it significantly easier. But I suspect you are ignoring that to try to just poke fun. Those games didn't die because of voice comms, there were plenty of other issues. In the same vein I could list the ton of games that have voice…

I think the "policing" comment he made was more brought on by your condescension than your point. But it's hard to find anything else through the many "matchmaking unfair" posts. If you're the anti spam police, I direct you to the main culprit. The points that you made are things all games with chat run into, however they…

Well if course games should still be winnable with no communication. Albeit harder in this case. But you do still benefit from the other people who have mics making callouts. One surv with a working mic is still very valuable for the rest of the team.

Woah dude, I have been coming here on occasion for a while now. Not a whole ton, but here and there. I just haven't seen any people talk about this in my time here. Sorry I set you off so bad right in the first sentence though. Wasn't trying to be "special" with my legitimate question. I didn't think I was the only one who…

This absolutely. If you are brand new and have no idea how looping and such work. How are you to learn at all if much more skilled killers down you in 2 seconds. You can't get good if there is no opportunity to learn.
-
It means "you all" it's relaxed slang generally accepted in the English dialects of people who aren't needlessly pretentious about the way people communicate.
-
I've seen tons of people on both sides agree that the chases are the most fun part (I agree as well). The problem being that a long chase for killer is also very stressful because a couple gens could easily go off in that time and you have only been doing one of potentially 12 chases.
-
So like why can't we just let them be happy about getting a win? Why do we need to make a whole post saying "yeah I know you're happy, but I hate that you're happy so here's actually why you shouldn't be that happy". Just let them be happy with their wins.
-
I would totally ignore you as soon as I saw you were trying to bait me. If youre a surv and I see you want me to do something , no way I'm falling for that. Besides that O get a free surv chasing me and staying off gens. But of course they take it personally! It's a Chase between the two of you and even if they realize…

Listen I'm lucky if I get 3 or 4 games in an hour. If you think people should able to DC from every third or fourth match with no penalty your definitely part of the problem.
-
Anything less than 600 hours in a game is being new? Lolwut
-
Exactly, that's the painfully boring standoff I am referring to
-
You keep saying pity escape but it's just flat out not. The game is basically impossible for a 1v1, the mechanic is in place to make the game exciting the whole time through. It's not meant to just give some poor pitiful soul an escape, it's meant to prevent the painfully boring standoff that a 1v1 with a survivor the…

There's no need for that attitude man. They have as much of a right to post here as you do and they're comment was totally valid with no attacks to you.

Its likely a jab at the way internet providers are set up in the US, a series of companies has basically split control over different regions. It's rare to have options of providers (at least in the rural areas im used to) which allows for bad price gouging
-
Not really. Hatch is kind of a balance thing. The game is basically impossible when it gets down to 1v1. How you get to a 1v1 could be because you're the best in the game or because you're just camping etc, doesn't matter. Hatch changes the gameplay from a hopeless surv just trying to do gens and hide (not gonna happen…
-
How? By camping hatch or something? If they're paying any attention they would realize that the extra 2k from hatch isn't worth them playing a camp game and gaining no other points. Only thing I find super annoying about it is when the last man in game will search for hatch when the exit gates are open.
-
I feel like hatch (without keys) can be a more difficult escape with more specific conditions in which it's available. Seems like it should be worth more points
-
It's the in game scoring system, it's totally valid to use it to determine a win or lose. Otherwise it's kind of like playing a hockey game and saying "Oh you think you won because you scored more points? Sounds robot-ish to me".

I just started playing in January. The first thing I did when I had any idea what I was doing was grab the Leatherface DLC and immediately grind him to 40. The Leatherface DLC frequently goes on sale for about $3 USD which is not much of a paywall and the double BP makes the grind of starting the game much less…
