I had this issue all the time on PS4 and at least in my case, I can't speak for anyone else, the issue was definitely not analogue stick drift. I was able to play TLOU2, RDR2, DOOM, GTA V, etc. on the same controller around the same time frame without any issues or any noticeable weirdness at all. The issue was also…

I was looking for this post! I knew about the update, but I wasn't expecting such a big change with the visuals. It's cool though. All these red and green buttons. It feels a little festive almost.

The issue with Eyrie isn't one of size, but content. Most traditional maps have a pretty sizable 'deadzone' area around the edges where there are no gens, no hooks, and no pallets. Both Ormond and Eyrie can and will spawn generators, pallets, jungle gyms, and hooks very close to the edge of the map. This means that a good…

Based on the description of Auric Cells and some of the Observer's lore, the Entity's Realm isn't a physical place per se but a place of pure consciousness. Think of like a lucid dream, but the Entity is the lucid dreamer and everyone is else is trapped there, beholden to the Entity's rules. Bill's body isn't his real…
-
Is that because of the glitch on PS5 where using any part of the Rift/Archives can lock your character in place in game until you restart the game?
-
In the Entity's Realm time isn't really measurable the way it is outside of it. You have to remember that it exists outside of physical reality. The realm is composed of abstract thought and consciousness, manifested visually as a sort of physicality by the Entity for the purpose of keeping the Survivors scared and the…

A lot of people also say Nea is ugly and she's one of the most popular characters in the game (and had been for a long while before the visual update to all characters). Ugliness isn't an objective trait. Some people may think Haddie is ugly, but other people will disagree. And as Nea proves, you don't need to be…

I'd rather they revert Killer attack recovery speed back to pre-6.1.0 instead of nerfing Stabiffel. Most M1 dudes aren't getting a ton of value from the slightly faster basekit M1s, but it does make a big difference for the S and A tier Killers like Blight, Nurse, and Spirit, who can use their ability to catch up after an…

I feel pretty similarly. This isn't what I was wanting. I've always wanted a chapter based on characters from before the Modern Era. It's why I really like Plague and why I was so excited for The Knight and Vittorio. But the Knight just feels poorly thought out. Like an attempt to overcome the limitations they encountered…

If BHVR were actually willing to reskin Killer powers you could have every villain from RE8. Dimitrescu could be a skin for The Knight with her daughters replacing the soldiers. Heisenberg could be a Trickster reskin and telekinetically throw metal shards instead of knives. Donna and Angie could be a skin for the Twins…

Be me to it. I think I have 12 on Nea and 20 on Huntress, but I couldn't swear to it. I definitely have 9 on Heather and 7 on Jill. I also recently used one as Jill and successfully cancelled a Gideon Offering brought by a fellow Survivor. That felt good.
-
Just like the franchise, this thread is back from the dead! Don't forget Claudia Wolf or The Missionary, they both attack people with melee weapons and Claudia has vague supernatural powers akin to Alessa's. Claudia was also referenced as maybe being alive in Heather's DbD lore, so they've done the groundwork there…

Yea, the gameplay would depend on how faithful they would be to the original design and whether they'd use the Otherworld or 'normal' version. All those tight hallways and rooms could easily create a 2nd RPD. But IMO it'd be worth it for having one of the more unique levels in the Silent Hill franchise. Also we could have…

Sometimes the animations bug out like this; it generally seems to happen if the ping between Wesker and the Survivor is bad, or if the geometry you're getting thrown into/smashed against is a bit awkward. Vaulting a window, or a pallet will fix it, as will being downed. Wesker definitely has a lot of bugs with his power…

I just hope we get more maps for the Silent Hill Realm. We need more maps in general IMO, and Silent Hill has so much more to offer than just the Elementary School. Don't get me wrong, Midwich is a decently iconic area from Silent Hill 1 and memorable for being the first place in the franchise where we see the Otherworld…

It depends on how we're defining 'balanced'. If we're talking about skill expression for both sides and we're excluding crazy add-ons and stupid maps, I'd say Blight, Huntress, and Hillbilly are the most balanced. They all have a lot of insane tricks that they can use if they understand their power well, just as Survivors…

It's another perk like For The People or Blood Pact, weak to the point of being completely forgettable in the hands of solo queue (what good does knowing the Killer is on the other side of the map do you?) but pretty dangerous in the hands of a SWF. Combining this perk with comms, Hyperfocus, and a Toolbox to increase…

TOGETHAAA WE WILL DEVOUHH THE VERUH GOHDS!
-
Also if the hooked person is about to hit 2nd stage or die. Even if it ends up being a farm, it's *usually* better to force the Killer to have to waste time downing them than it is to just let the person advance hook stages. Plus there's always a chance the person actually manages to actually get a decent chase as a…

I mean, it's still a nerf, 1 Instadown Hatchet is a less insane than 3. Also it went SO long until even that nerf came that I really wouldn't hold my breath. Same thing for the Tombstones. It's been over 6 years since Myers came out and those add-ons still exist. As the Killer roster gets bigger and bigger I think the…
-
I wouldn't see any obvious issue with giving every Survivor icon a smaller version of the Obsession spider legs that wiggle when in chase. And I can't think it'd be too crazy difficult to implement [insert joke about it breaking Pig's Ambush Dash somehow]. It'd also be a nice change for solo queue too, which is something…

If shattered hope became basekit, pentimento builds would be THE meta and no one would want to run boons anymore I feel like these are mutually exclusive outcomes of a theoretical basekit Shattered Hope though. If Pentimento was used by everyone, you're right, people would just not use Boons. But if people aren't using…
-
It doesn't really need such a punitive nerf. Circle of Healing in a vacuum is mostly fine. But it gets problematic when you start adding in Medkits, co-op healing speeds, and the fact that Boons can be reused constantly. And just reducing the speed isn't gonna fix those problems, but it will make the perk nearly worthless…

It's great IMO! It's more like cake than bread per se, and is really chewy and moist. I recommend it. If you ever make your own just make sure not to leave it in too long, the sides tend to burn easy.
-
- As Killer, Huntress. Originally I mained Wraith, because he looks cool. But I switched to Huntress because I thought her lore was cool, and I still play her 4 years later because her power is cool. Pretty cool, eh? - As Survivor, Nea/Quentin. Quentin was the first Survivor I mained because I have insomnia and because he…

I dressed up as Michael Myers this year (I wanted to do Sadako, but my hair is just a lil' too short rn to really sell it). Like tippy my party got cancelled (a few people were sick, and that caused a bit of a scare in a not Halloween-y way), but I dressed up anyway and threw my own personal party by baking pumpkin bread…

I'm down for a chapter inspired by the Faith games. It'd be really cool to see how they translate it to DbD. Also if they do it they should definitely replace the Sacrificed/Dead match result with MꚚRTIS.
-
It USED to make a ton more loops playable using curving. These days a lot of newer maps and tiles have just the most bizarre geometry and tend to catch the saw with their forcefields. Have you watched a Hillbilly try to play Hillbilly (as opposed to M1lly) on Eyrie of Crows? Saddest thing I've ever seen.
-
I'm getting some Friday the 13th: The Game flashbacks. Especially with the whole combat stance. But in a good way. Also, I'd take what is essentially an extra pallet over a Medkit any day.
-
They should just make it so using one of those add-ons prevents you from using the other. Either like a Killswitch effect or just that only one will work - they used to make certain add-ons not stack in the past and Iri Head + Infantry Belt currently works in a similar manner. Tampered Timer and Crate of Gears are both…
-
Probably Blight and Vigo. Blight originally wasn't a Killer or beholden to any of the Entity's rules, he basically had free reign of the realm - he would go through trials and through other places we hsven't seen in-game that are outside the 'trial areas' we see when we play. But he was still trapped in the realm, so he…
-
A screenshot without any real context for the game itself doesn't really indicate he's strong or weak. Like, the Yui with 3k points. She clearly scored really low compared to everyone else, but there's no context as to *why* Did she kill herself on hook? Did she get tunnelled to death? Was she left on hook by her…
-
Myers loses because he's Myers - a Killer whose design hasn't changed much since 2017. He starts off the match barely faster than Survivors and needs to stare at them in order to become an M1 Killer. Comparing Myers with Tombstone Piece and Blight with Alchemist Ring is more of a comparison between the Killers than the…
-
Tombstone Piece. It allows you to delete a player from the game. No other add-on for Survivor or Killer comes close. Imagine if Blight could suddenly Mori someone while Healthy, or if a Survivor who blinded the Killer enough could just remove the Killer from the game. Nothing has that equivalency (beyond Judith's…

I don't believe so; I even faced a Doctor just recently and never encountered any Tier 1 illusions. But I could be wrong.
-
Theeeeeeere's a man with no life in his eyes! I will also throw in my support for Violet as a Survivor, despite it being impossible.
-
It's definitely possible, but a bit harder. Charlotte has a unique 'sleeping' animation when you control Victor that is different from her idle just standing around animation, but Twins are so rare you could probably trick people who don't know about that.
-
It'd depend on the licensors, but I'd imagine it'd be Jason Voorhees and Tommy Jarvis. Pamela would be fun IMO, but she's only in one film and currently isn't the same intellectual property as adult serial killer Jason. Roy is out of the running by virtue of nobody outside of hardcore fans really knowing about him. Also…
-
Feel free to steal it! I don't have a monopoly on Insidious Doctor. When you use it, make sure to keep in mind that only Survivors with at least Tier 2 Madness see the illusions, so ideally you want the Survivor who you try to trick to be Tier 2. Although I doubt the average player will guess you're Insidious camping, it's…
-
I've done it as Doctor. You pretend to be a clone and wait for them to hop on a gen, then go for a grab. Since Doctor has both a big Terror Radius and an excuse for a lookalike to just be standing around, people generally don't expect it. Well, that and who the heck runs Insidious besides camping Bubbas?
-
You're all good, I just think the comment was warranted because of the topic - everyone getting nostaglic for the old Fog. I miss DbD's old look and general aesthetic as much as the next person who played back then, but it had it's issues.
-
I'm glad it wasn't an issue for you, but it was hell for lots of people on PS4. I played on PC and PS4 back in the day and it was a night and day difference. The game would freeze for a full 2 seconds sometimes when you'd uncloak as Wraith or start setting a Trap as Trapper. It was painful. Compared with games like GTA…
-
I mean, I don't really care much personally but yes, I am also confused as to why the charms are split by role. Like, yea I get that the original goal was to make it so that Killer charms were more fitting with the whole 'horror' tone that DbD's going for, while Survivors were allowed to have more wacky charms. But like, I…
-
There's no need to be like this about this. Slow down and reread what Crowman is saying. They aren't saying Sadako is strong. They aren't saying she's the best. They are simply saying that Sadako performs well in terms of Kills at both high MMR and all MMR brackets. That is not an unreasonable interpretation of the stats…

Bloody Party Streamers DO NOT work, Survivor Puddings DO work, Killer BP category offerings (the various wreath add-ons) DO work, and I can't confirm or deny about any of the Anniversary Cakes but it's better to save them IMO since you have a finite amount. I also can't say anything about Escape Cakes or Survivor BP…
-
It's probably safe to say, yea. Personally, I'd just like to see another playable character with a body type outside their current two main molds for the Survivors. Cashier Carl would be fun for the memes, but I'd accept any character who isn't an average height/build man or an average height/build woman.
-
Funnily enough, this actually happened to me as Survivor. Only 3 of us loaded in and then the other 2 DC'ed. And no Hatch back then until you'd repaired enough gens. Fastest '4k' of that Hag's life.
-
I wouldn't be surprised. As far as I'm aware, the Shroud of Separation for Killer has been bugged and has done absolutely nothing since 2019. To be fair, I've never submitted a bug report or tested it within the last year though, because it's not even a worthless Offering, if it works it's actively detrimental to you as…
-
Unofficially the devs have said they won't do any original characters from beyond the "modern" era. Their view on it is that Survivors should be relatable and sympathetic characters, so the player can understand them and be more invested. Personally I think that's nonsense, but it is what it is. Hopefully they change their…

DbD's chat filter is such a joke.
