Another survivor nerf to the only decent counter to the aura reading perks - which make stealthy survivors get easily downed. The devs certainly have nothing better to do than to make the game unenjoyable and unplayable.
-
Yep. Gave it another try. Still sucks. I`d play 5-10 matches in a row. Now, I play one and exit the game. Thanks, BHVR, for ruining it. It helped me get rid of an addiction.
-
Well, I gave it a try. Never used DH, so can`t talk about that one. Spine Chill is a LOT less useful - which means the game is better for stealth killers, which sucks. Iron Will? Never using it again. It is completely useless now. Seriously. You`re loudly moaning all the time. It`s pathetic. Good thing is I had kind of an…

This new killer is totally OP. He moves really fast, has a distance attacks and zombie minions to slow survivors down. If anything, he needs to be nerfed.
-
Where do we input the codes? I couldn't find anywhere to do that. EDIT: Nevermind, found it.
-
It was definitely nerfed. I'm just glad I got her adept before this nerf, otherwise it would've been impossible.
-
Yeah, it actually means that. Survivors way of detecting killers is the terror radius. Your killer doesnt have one? It should be nerfed. Oh, you dont wanna nerf it? Deal with spine chill.
-
What needs a nerf is almost every killer. Then you can complain about Spine Chill. DS was already nerfed, making it pretty useless and rewarding tunnelers. People facing tunnelers should disconnect.
-
They should definitely take the d/c penalty out. The game is completely unbalanced. Nobody should be force to spend their time indulging #########.
-
Given that they nerfed DS, they should also remove the ridiculous disconnect penalty. People still disconnect, and the system can't tell the difference between disconnects from their end (which shouldn't happen, and if happen and they can't control it, they shouldn't have the lame penalty) and people disconnecting - which…
-
Well, it sounds wrong to you then. And "Get good" sounds exactly like the college grad.
-
Just don't do it. Keep it as it is. No need to nerf a high-risk perk.
-
Disconnecting is - and should be - fine. You reasons are your own, and even more so if they are health issues. The DC penalty is ridiculous and should go. Players who are like "you should keep playing or get a penalty" are similar to college kids who can't get a 'no' mid-date - "you're ruining our fun!" and, later on, will…
-
"Soon enough, survivors won't be able to suicide on the hook, and then I'll be able to camp and tunnel even more, because that is just how bad I am at this game!" =] Yeah, claim it is about everyone's fun, but in fact you just want to play a douche and have people put up with you. :) People are back to disconnecting, and…
-
Precisely. And camping/tunneling are also the main reasons why people disconnect - even with the dc penalty which, as I foresaw, would only reduce dc right after implementation. Dcs are on the rise again, and they only go down when there is a new tome. Tome missions are far more effective to reduce people disconnecting…
-
Actually, the game has existed for a lot longer WITHOUT the disconnect penalty than with it. If you just arrived, perhaps this isn't the game for you. =] Plus, you're either a teenager or someone who didn't study anything about human psychology to think that punishment changes behavior, son. It doesn't. There is a short…
-
That is another reason why the disconnect penalty is ridiculous and ineffective. What prevents people from actually disconnecting are the tome missions and other positive reinforcements for staying in the game. Penalties don't work, it is surprising that they haven't read anything about behavior for the past 30 years to…
-
Awn, are you mad? Well, I'll keep complaining in a forum - which is also a place for that. If you don't like it, you can quit - or "just deal with it" =]. "CHRIST"
-
The reason for which they are there are not addressing the issue and are not diminishing the dc. There was a short time, right after implementation, when it did go down. Now it's back to normal. People only won't disconnect because of positive reinforcement - like the tome missions that have to be done through several…
-
They unbalanced the game. We pay for the game to have fun. If people are not having fun, they're not going to put up with ****** camper/tunnelers just to indulge them. And now they nerfed the only anti-tunnel perk, DS, I've seen a rise on disconnects after that. And I don't blame them. When it is not Tome season and I am…
-
Or they should fix the game so it doesn't boot people, how about that? Or - EVEN BETTER - get rid of the lame disconnect penalty. :)
-
Because that is a valid move when facing a ****** player. =] Especially now that they nerfed the only anti-tunneling perk, DS. People only don't disconnect because of the tome missions. The penalty doesn't work.
-
We don't need DC penalties. We need tunneller /camper penalties. The only anti-tunnelling perk, DS, got severely nerfed. The disconnect penalty is ridiculous and it doesn't prevent people from disconnecting. It is a minor nuisance at most. What effectively prevents people from disconnecting are the Tome missions. Having…
-
You're absolutely right. Also, the only reason I don't disconnect when getting consistently tunnelled/camped is because of the rift tasks. Once they're all done, I'm not indulging crappy killers who get their kicks by tunneling or survive for players who are crouching all over the map.
-
The thing is, she WAS available with Iridescent Shards. When did they change it and why? The way this game is going, I am definitely not giving them a vote of confidence and spending any more money on it yet.
-
Well, I decided to grind them back. The last DLC I bought was the Stranger Things one. I don't spend a single dime on costumes and such, well, because that is just dumb. If I get it as a gift for something ingame, fun. If not, I am not spending dollars there. All the new characters I buy through ingame rewards. And I…
-
All survivors always wear the exact same cosmetic, so it is harder for the killer to tunnel.
-
You know what? If it went both ways it would actually be good. Especially if it meant the disconnect penalty goes away.
-
You are worth more bloodpoints than any other survivor. You'll get more tunneled - as if there weren't enough tunnelers already.
-
This. It's sad to see people spending tons of money on VIRTUAL COSMETICS that have no impact whatsoever in the game. I forbid my kids from ever buying battle passes.
-
The only change it should be made is that should activate every time you're picked up right after being freed from the hook, instead of once per match. It is one of the few perks that actually discourages tunnelers. With the silly disconnect penalty in place, it should actually be made better.
-
It is a debuff.
-
The longer a killer camps and tunnels, the less BPs and emblems they get. To the point where they get marginal BPs and Bronze emblems. This would be far more effective than the ridiculous disconnect penalty.
-
Yeah, I'll still be around and committing hook suicide - which is worse for the survivors, but that's life. If there was no disconnect penalty, the killer would've to tunnel me once again and only then I'd disconnect. Sorry not sorry.
-
That is your opinion. Forcing players who spend good money on this to indulge toxic players who can't play and straight facecamp / tunnel should award no punishment. They should reward you if you decide to put up with those suckers instead of punishing you for doing what a normal person does, and just ditch the #########.
-
She's fine the way she is. It is impressive how some killer players are always whining. They complain about survivors who dance around them. Then they complain about survivors who are stealthy around them.
-
Legion and Ghostface, by far. Especially given that the players who play them are toxic, camper/tunnellers who make everyone want to quit the game.
-
It is not helping at all, as it isn't addressing the issues that make people disconnect in the first place. People disconnect because survivors got nerfed and it is a pain to go against OP Killers who also happen to be toxic camper/tunneler players. I completely understand people who choose to disconnect instead of wasting…
-
Just got back to playing matches, after spending more time away from DbD. No toxic killers, no DC. Don't expect me to put up with your ######### - and by your comment, you're one of those toxic players I mentioned. 😘
-
Well, I just disconnected from a match as a survivor. Killer was a tunneler ghostface with bbq+chili and ruin (always them). I got banned for three minutes for disconnecting. Just went to play CS. And it doesn't matter if the penalties for DCing increase: if I am against some overpowered killer who is also a toxic player,…
-
Against Legion or Ghost Face? I disconnect. Lame OP killers who will make the game drag on. And I don't care about the penalties. I just go play something else. And if it lasts long enough, I might even spend months without playing. Instead of banning people for DC, they should think why those people have DCed in the first…
