Anti-Face camp radius increased (in Lights Out 2.0)
EDIT - Misunderstanding on my part. This is ONLY for Lights Out 2.0!!! Edited out my detailed question. Regardless, I think some people may have missed this side-comment, so bringing it up here. Lights Out 2.0 will have an increased anti-face camp radius.

The Ghost Face staying crouched shouldn't trigger chase
It's vital that GF be able to do ambushes, but so many times when sneaking up on a completely oblivious survivor does the chase music suddenly kick in even if crouching and slowly moving around. This essentially robs Ghost Face from successful ambushes when he goes out of his way to set up an ambush. Crouching literally…

Kill statistics should be reconsidered this patch until bug fix
With the rampant bug going on where survivors cannot be healed\picked up\rescues from hook, this will be inflating kill rates. I'd suggest not counting kill rates until this bug is fixed - otherwise, BHVR will be having bad data.

Off the Record loses it's signifying "tell" with iron will change. Bad for survivor and killer
Prior to iron will's new change, killers were actively discouraged from chasing down people with OTR since it's just a waste of time (and let's face it, the OTR change awhile back was essentially intended to be an anti-tunnel perk). The killer chases them down endlessly, finally gets a hit, and the survivor gets endurance…

Weaker m1 killers being unfairly affected by the 8 regression limit
I have 3 videos below that's relevant to the discussion. BHVR's intention for the 8 regression limit is to utilize a number where normal matches should not be affected by the 8 regression limit. It's supposed to essentially prevent killers who just camp 3 gens from the beginning of the match who generally refuse to…

Latest patch fixes high bloodwebs from not having consistent iridescents.
Thanks, BHVR! High bloodwebs (ie level 50 and such) now have the usual 1-2 iridescents again. Before this patch, iridescents become very rare at high bloodwebs for some reason. No more! Huzzah. Even better if you're P100 and forever stuck at bloodweb level 50.
-
PC - level 50 blood webs no longer consistently having iridescent offerings
Usually there is a nearly guaranteed iridescent offering at level 50 blood web and almost guaranteed 2 iridescent offerings at level 50 blood web. However, I've gone through 5 level 50 bloodwebs, and not a single one of them have had any iridescent offerings. Here's an example...note that the majority of all of these are…

Strength in Shadows doesn't require being in the basement to heal
You only need to be on the stairs to the basement to get the free self heal. It doesn't require actually being in the basement at all. If basement is in killer shack, you have the strongest loop in the entire map on demand. This makes the perk essentially risk free, as you can easily make it to the window or pallet before…

Ormond second door hook. Thanks BHVR!
I'm seeing a hook on the 2nd floor of Ormond. Helps counter the boil over bully squads. Thanks for the change!

Kudos to the design team around the nostromo map
The design team did an absolutely phenomenal job on the theme of the map. A lot of great attention to detail from the looks all the way to the audio design with the computer bleeps and bloops. Seriously, the map was an amazing piece of work. This player here appreciates the effort put into it! The quality is just so much…

I'd LOVE to see Alan Wake's Mr. S̶̙̈́͋͑c̶̭̑͆r̵̺͈̩͂̆ȧ̸͚̝͖ẗ̴̰̤͖c̷̠̄̔͜h̴̯̆ as a killer at some point!
Well done whoever thought of Alan Wake for a chapter! Brilliant play. That being said, while I know that it's a survivor only chapter, I'd love to see Mr. S̶̙̈́͋͑c̶̭̑͆r̵̺͈̩͂̆ȧ̸͚̝͖ẗ̴̰̤͖c̷̠̄̔͜h̴̯̆ as a killer at some point. For those unfamiliar with the Alan Wake series, Mr. S̴̟͈͌̚c̶̳̥̈́̓r̵̘̲̍a̷̲̮͛̌t̵̥͋c̸̤̲̾̇ḧ̷́ͅ is…

Nothing brings everyone together like an early DC.
At least we can put those snowballs to good use this year! (names are blurred)

Been playing for awhile, the first time I felt genuinely creeped out (even as killer).
The new event models and such were really well done. Kudos to the design team on these.

Accessibility options giving more information than not enabling it.
Accessibility options are still giving more information than what would be gained from standard gameplay. I get the purpose of accessibility, but there's a reason everyone is running it. Can it at least be toned down to more accurately represent what people ACTUALLY would be hearing, and in turn, react to? Right now,…

Missed opportunity to allow Xeno to grapple onto a ceiling\wall while undetectable
We could have some jumpscare potential like this: They already have code that let's the Singularity shoot pods onto a wall. Why not re-use the same tech and let the Xeno pick a spot to pounce up to, then it could go undetectable after a few seconds if grapped onto a wall or ceiling. During this time, the killer can't move.…

Green envelope should affect all players - help close the "two sides" divide.
Why not just simply make it affect all players like bloody party streamers (even if it's only 25%?) Aren't we wanting to get away from the whole playerbase divide of killer opinions vs survivor opinions anyway? This would at least help bring people together even in a slight way and lessen the alienation of each side…

Background player needs some changes fast.
And it in action https://reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/s/sn2cPlPf2z Right now, survivors can choose when to activate this within 10 seconds of a pickup, and then it lasts is whole duration. With the insane speed, this is effectively guaranteeing flashlight saves unless there happens to be a wall nearby, and absolutely…

Survivor perks are getting so unusual it's getting difficult to distinguish between perks and cheats
Awhile back, it was at least noticeable that someone was cheating or not, but with things such as MFT, or the 101 ways to get endurance, or the new breakneck speed backbround player, we're getting into a confusing area where you just freaking genuinely don't know. Killers only get 4 perks. Survivors get 16 perks. The…

Flashlights need to stop blinding when the light isn't even in view
Considering open-area (ie no walls near) flashlight saves are practically guaranteed now with the buffed background player, can we finally fix flashlights that blind the killer when neither the flashlight nor the survivor using it is even in view?
-
BHVR, can you please stop doing this?
Game is becoming more and more impossible to play as the weaker m1 killers. Exactly how on earth are you expecting killers to play around this kind of crap? It's getting ridiculous.

Killers not allowed to defend gens near hooks, now?
Some great changes to the antiface camp, but there is still a glaring problem. Survivors do gens. Killer downs someone near the gen (there's a reason jolt is reliable - happens a lot). Killer hooks the survivor on the nearest hook (often next to the gen). The killer at this point "isn't allowed" to protect the generator?…

It's time we change map offerings to map ban offerings
One thing DBD has an issue with is toxicity from both sides. One major factor that helps bully squads or pure slug builds\map-wide TR anti-heal shenanigans is the ability to play the game on your own terms - prepping a full squad or killer build specifically with a map in mind (such as ormand + boil over + upstairs). These…

Undetectable status is alerting survivors with visual TR, chase music, and stingers.
PC - Undetectable shouldn't be causing stingers, visual terror radius, or chase music. I'm assuming this is a bug, as it doesn't make sense otherwise. Undetectable shouldn't be giving off a visual heartbeat, for example. Video below. If by chance this is a feature, it's gutting the ability to actually sneak up on…

Re-envisioning perk tiers and their purpose
Right now, perk ranks/tiers are pretty moot, as the whole upgrading them to purple is just sort of busy work that we go through for "some" reason. In the end, we are all running purple perks. Right now balance is all over the place with everyone running meta perks and such. We have strong perks that end up just being…

MFT doesn't really have a downside or risk with 99ing heals being a thing.
All people do is get healed to 99 and carry a medkit around. They gain all the benefit of MFT without any risk, as the moment the killer is in striking range, they just tap heal to be fully healed, get hit, run off at full recovery speed and then continue to get MFT benefits. Then they can just 99 again and rinse and…

Free survivor purple items on new map could use an adjustment
At the moment, the item is just right around the corner, and everyone knows the code, so at the beginning of the map, they need only hop over, grab the item, walk a few yards, and bam - free purple item. We're at a point where survivors are being handed free purple items in a map now. At the very least, have the key spawn…

Clown bottles are swapping out post-throw
PC When you throw a bottle, if you swap bottle types before the thrown bottle breaks open, its bottle type changes. This forces clown to wait until a thrown bottle breaks open before being allowed to swap to a different type. I'm assuming this is a bug (I don't play Clown), as it makes no logical sense when you see a…

Stinger alerts, chase music, and visual TR should not play\show when killer is undetectable (Video)
I've had a lot of times where sneaking up on survivors has gone to waste because of the game announcing I'm near despite them having no idea otherwise. If they are on a gen and I sneak near, the stinger suddenly screams out giving them an early warning. If I'm following behind them stealthed, they'll suddenly hear chase…

Made For This is really becoming unbearable on M1 killers
Every time an M1 killer damages someone, they are punished with extended chases. Every chase, they are making it easy to another loop. Even if you catch survivors out of position, they are getting from safety to safety to safety. There's not even any deadzones any more unless you run around de-palleting everything in the…

My concern with the anti-face camp feature coming soon
NOT TALKING ABOUT REASSURANCE. The unhooking progress will merely slow down, not stop, when another survivor is near by. Loopers are just going to run to hooks. This will force free credit for a hooked person to unhook themselves despite the killer having no intention of being near that hook. If a survivor is near a hook,…

A very bizarre ambush grab that I didn't even think was possible

Fun fact about the new survivor's name
Soma (last name of the new survivor) means "body" in Greek. To be more specific, it is the part of a person that is 100% separate from the mind. That's also why Dungeons & Dragon spells that require you to physically move in some way is referred to as having a somatic spell component. The killer this chapter is also eerily…

Each chapter has a habit of having a gen rush perk in a, already heavy gen speed environment.
For the past few chapters, every chapter keeps getting some sort of gen rushing perk. BHVR already acknowledged that gen speeds were a problem and tried to correct it with +10 seconds to repair time, but then follow it up with perk after perk to increase repair times. Gens are flying by super fast as it is, and M1 killers…

Blocked gens - bypasses instant damage, now?
I'm hearing from a few people on youtube that blocked generators now are protected from not just automatic regression but instant regression from things such as PR or jolt. I thought blocked gens only stopped automatic regression but can still be damaged by instant damage effects like jolt? Did they change this?

It's the small, silly encounters with killer vs survivor that sometimes makes the match.
What's your favorite type of shenanigans to do in a match if the situations presents itself?
