Other people have their own experiences. Just because something hasn't happened to you does not make it fake.
-
Anytime the killer can see your aura, you can see their aura. It has a second effect if you are the obsession. If you are the obsession, every 30 seconds, your aura and the killers aura will be revealed to each other.
-
Ranks are now grades, and they aren't used for matchmaking anymore. We now have a hidden mmr.
-
I'm hopeful. Maybe instead of blighted skins, we'll have killer skins that have pumpkins or something on their heads.
-
I mean, even when it was being updated, it still wasn't getting new content in the way dbd was. To my knowledge, the changes that F13 got after the lawsuit were primarily bug fixes, meaning that F13 had two years of bug fixes without new mechanics. During that time, Dbd had been constantly adding new mechanics and changing…
-
To be fair, the F13 game literally isn't being updated anymore, so no new bugs can pop up. Meanwhile, DBD is constantly being updated, which means that more bugs can constantly be introduced.
-
I think that mmr resetting would defeat the purpose of mmr, wouldn't it?
-
We all fall for it at some point. It's a shame future players won't get to experience it.
-
I'm gonna miss being able to stand at the bottom of the hole as killer and having the survivors jump into me because they think I'm coming towards them.
-
It seems that the 4th gen not making noise is a bug since it was acknowledged in the bug reports.
-
Probably buffs considering how awful furtive chase is and how most of his add-ons are very unimpactful. I doubt his power would get much of a change since its not that bad compared to other killers.
-
It was because spectator mode can be pretty buggy. I remember recently watching that Nemesis would appear to always be in his idle animation when using spectator mode, so he would just be sliding around when the broadcasters spectated the survivors.
-
I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone run Self-preservation.
-
I can’t believe I forgot about the “Press E to outplay” meme.
-
Dead hard requires that you click a button while running and injured. Its the “X” button on playstation and should be the “A” button for Xbox. I’m not sure what it is on PC since I don’t really play survivor with a keyboard, but you should be able to find out what is by looking at key mapping in the options.
-
I think this type of stuff was more prevalent with pre-nerf freddy, where people would just give up or dc before playing the match since forever freddy was unfun to go against.
-
A good pair of headphones will let you hear things that you otherwise wouldn’t with speakers. They’ll massively help with hiding survivors. This can be things like survivors walking/running past you, injured survivors in lockers, or even survivors breathing.
-
That would probably make certain adepts way too easy and others way too hard. For example, Wraith's perks are all active at the start, so you would get his adept by just playing him. Meanwhile certain characters would be awful since getting value out of their perks can be difficult, like with Legion's Mad Grit, or Ash's…
-
It was a year ago. I think Pyramid head is currently bugged in that the sound of his knife hitting the ground is delayed. His attack still should come out at the same speed.
-
I think that its more that BHVR likes to save up big changes so that they can do them all at once. Billy and Bubba's reworks were done at the same time. Demo's, Huntress', and Freddy's add-on pass were also done at the same time.
-
It wouldn't be interesting for the killers since they wouldn't be doing anything different, and would just be annoying for survivors since they would be getting punished just because they are playing the game.
-
I think they said that mmr doesn't degrade over time.
-
I don’t think we know who pinheads VA was, but it was probably a different person. I think the voice actors in dbd are usually either people that work with BHVR or actual voice actors, and not the people that played the characters in the movies/games.
-
A) Grades aren't part of the new matchmaking. B) 4K does mean 4 kills. C) Prestiging a character only gives you a bloody version of that character's outfit, with three pieces for all three prestiges, Only do it if you want the outfit and achievements. D) Going back to hooks isn't tunneling. Tunneling is when you are…

New dev update came out that included spirit changes among other things like trapper buffs, perk buffs, and add-on changes.
-
You can find the dev updates by going to the dbd twitter, or by clicking "Dead by Daylight forums" -> "News" -> "General News".
-
He's there to protect you guys.
-
The "separate MMR" thing probably just means that your killers will just have similar MMR to the others. This probably means that if your MMR changes for one killer, it changes for all of them. This would be to prevent a 3,000 hour player who's playing a fresh killer from going against people playing their first match. If…
-
Maybe your game wasn't updated?
-
They said they were doing the realm beyond first so trickster, blight, and twins didn’t get a map. We might be able to get maps for those killers after the realm beyond is finished, but that could easily be a long time from now.
-
Personally, I think he became more popular once his FOV was changed to being more than two feet tall. That was probably one of his more important changes.
-
It was due to an totem that couldn't be cleansed, according to their twitter.
-
As annoying as the meta can be sometimes, I'm not sure the solution is to nerf over 80% of the perks. Especially considering a good chunk of those perks are already awful or barely decent. This would also just punish people who choose survivors because they like the character or how they look. It would also just nerf…
-
I don't think oppression has any synergy with other gen kicking perks. If it did, that would mean you could use that and PGTW to pop 4 different gens at once. Overcharge should still apply to the gen you kicked though.
-
I'd much rather occasionally have a map that my killer doesn't work well with than be forced to play on the same 1-6 maps with any given killer. Could you imagine how miserable it would be to play Myers and only ever be allowed to play on Haddonfield or Badham, or Clown only being allowed to play on his one map. Or, even…
-
There are no dead ends because the doors open after you do gens. Even before you do gens, there's only one pallet that could lead to you getting trapped, and that's only if there is a gen next to it. Unless you're talking about a new bug, there shouldn't be any real dead ends in Gideon's.
-
That's not a glitch that's just how undying synergizes. You cleansed haunted so you became exposed and since they had undying, they were able to keep haunted in order to be cleansed again. If you had cleansed undying first, instead of haunted, you would have only been exposed once.
-
They'll probably mention it in the next bug fix.
-
I can't say much about my survivor games, but my killers seem to have abnormally low mmr, to the point that I'm steamrolling the survivors with no real gen-slowdown perks.
-
They didn’t say that Pinhead’s voice was bugged. If it was they would’ve said it was. They said that they had “complications,” and considering they can’t comment on it, it’s probably legal issues.
-
I haven’t played the RE games, but I’m pretty sure that Nemesis could rip Plague in half.
-
Head-on should work regardless of iron maiden. Maybe it was a bug.
-
I think the achievement is bugged so you can't get it. If you could, playing Freddy would be the easiest way since he automatically inflicts oblivious.
-
Its a pallet that the killer has no chance at mind-gaming. Like the pallets next to the Game's basement. If the survivor drops it, the killer needs to break it since they can't play around it.
-
Yeah it was rotten fields. I guess its its been a while since I rarely get any farm map that isn't rancid abattoir.
-
It's a survivor trying to solve the lament configuration, but getting stopped by chains every single time they attempt to solve it, so they can't solve it.
-
Blood lodge should also be disabled, but since it doesn't have a personal offering like The Game and Glenvale, it's much easier to forget or notice its even missing.
-
I think being able to see multiple gens on Ormond is more of an issue with that other than the main building and the crane, there generally isn't anything blocking your view of the map, instead of a map size issue. Kind of like Blood lodge where you can easily see across the map because there aren't many tall structures.
-
I'm fairly sure that the map updates didn't change the sizes of the maps themselves. Also Ormond was updated alongside the other maps. So far 26 maps have had updates. I think somebody would have noticed if the maps had changed sizes.
-
Ormond has 15 maps that are smaller than it. You can check on the DBD wiki.
