shorter lunge after blink: That would require Nurse players to have a little bit more precision and survivors more moveable space for outplays. A possible change to look at. loose blink tokens on stun: Nurse gets barely stunned in the first case. Even though it's possible, an experient Nurse knows how to avoid a pallet…

Deathgarden like many other unsuccesfull multiplayer games just didn't manage to catch a large enough audience to build up a healthy playerbase. Many balancing changes were done hoping to safe and adress issues with the game. But overall it didn't work out. DbD on the other hand has hidden the critical mass to sustain…
-
Looking at steamcharts, player numbers haven't changed at all compare the week before or after the chat. Maybe even slightly increase two or three day after the patch. But really it didn't affect much in numbers.
-
That really depends. Some killers might just accept other gens popping and not hooking for a while, by playing overdefensive right from the start, hoping to only destroy ressources close to those gens, to make chases outside of them unlikely. It kinda depends on the killer, but a 100% planned 3 gen tactic is definitively…
-
Let's wait until they've adjusted the animation before rebalancing the numbers. Those milliseconds could really be only an issue, because the animation doesn't fit 100% the action yet.
-
In their current form, they are too strong. But range addons wouldn't be so bad, if they let all the other aspects of her power consistent, which means, that she would need to charge longer and take more time to travel those high ranges. If I remember correctly the first part is what they adressed back with the rework but…
-
Sounds good, doesn't work and it's still stale gameplay and problematic. When the killer is really motivated, then they will go for a perk build that allows them to camp more efficiently or use NOED to make sure, that they will get at least another survivor. Camping doesn't have really a good counter in the game except…

We have to wait, when it hits life to see how well it works. 0.5s isn't a short time period and works on current DH quite well, since they've made the I-frames server sides. So if endurance activation and hit detection is the same, I don't see an issue. But if not we might see a good amount of beeing people complain of…
-
Yeah Memory 342 from the secont Tome mentioned an ex as a she. He meets with Tommy. Tommy has no room for him in his apartment. Wishes he did, but he doesn't. Mick wants to help but his old lady won't let him. Same with Bill and Harry. His ex has moved on and she doesn't want to see his face. Something about being a…

Honestly, when I've read the title my thought went to harassment and stream sniping in general. And in that regard: DbD has a huge streaming support and viewer numbers other game could only dream of. It's kinda saddening, that the game doesn't provide much for them to protect themselfs from beeing targeted like other…

Understandable, keeping certain masks in the game meant to keep a tool that allowed people to live out their racism. It won't solve the issues of course, but it will definitively limit the experience for those who are victims. Still I'm not 100% behind it how Behaviour deals with it. They are removing all masks, not just…
-
True, but it does negatively impact the game for those who are using it, without knowing the bug exist. I personally don't know why they wouldn't turn it off as well.
-
If nothing changes to their usual schedule, the next chapter should be sometime in december. Of coures there should be ptb with chapter teasers and reveal a couple of weeks before. So maybe we will see some teasers and PTB sometime around calendar week 45/46/47, with the later two dates beeing more likely.
-
I told them that I seem to care less and less about the game.
-
NFTs for physical assets like books are actually a thing. They are first and foremost meant to be a proof of ownership afterall. Sorry, but looking at the reactions, how the information spread, it's not that obviously fake as you think. Maybe for you, for me etc. But not for everybody and the majority of people beeing…
-
The chatterer part only appears on their website, while the egmnow article doesn't have it. That makes it difficult for people for figuring out the information beeing fake than you think. Not everybody will take a close look on the website. But I'm with you. Normally you don't comment false news/leaks/rumours.Not just…
-
Survivors burn as much their "soon-to-be-nerfed" stuff as killers. We saw it with Instaheals back then. That's normal player behaviour and not tied to a role.
-
DbD's playerbase is quite big in comparison to other less succesfull multiplayer games with several game modes. And those don't have too big queue times either. I think the main issue is that everything in DbD is designed around one specific gameplay. perks, killer powers, addons items. It would be pretty hard to consider…
-
Well same counts for the second blink. As long as a Nurse isn't too close, you have time to react to a blink by judging those tells. And as long as you are dealing with first blinks your movement should lead you to that safe distance for the second one. Besides it's possible to use a pallet to counter the second blink…
-
Well then you shouldn't stand still in the open. I mean, you can hear a Nurse charging her blinks, you can see the direction she is pointing at and if it isn't a very short/quick charged blink have definitively time to react to it and outposition. She has a lot of tells survivor just ignore.
-
The theme of these teaser goes into witchcraft/wicca. Well we will see where this goes. PTB for midchapter shouldn't be too far away.
-
While Stridor is still more than just enhancing the audio, it's not worthwhile, because it kinda messes with your perception of distance in the game. The few moment, when I used it or Stridor like effects, I've found it too often that I misjudged Survivors positions because of it. So yeah, it was only useful in countering…
-
And also do bones/remember totem locations for NOED and pray to the entity that the camped survivor doesn't suicide, because there is no ingame reason to stick around, if you are camped. The only true counter to camping is that it is boring for the killer as much as it is for survivor.
-
Not that I know of. But it might be possible that it might visually appear like that, mostly because of latency or other visual bugs. Nurse's blinks are kinda sensitive with that. Happened more often in the past with omega blink nurses and deticated servers as far as I know. But haven't seen it for quite some time.
-
If you run into a lot f them. Then I would start recording every match etcand get familiar with the report system This can actually make things even easier for Behaviour to track them, because if Hackers get matched more against experienced players, they will most likely be reported quickly and banned.
-
I kinda want to have a classical graveyard map and a good theme around it. Something about the fear of deep water or space. Ad also maybe something going into strangeness/surrealism. Hard to point out. But really a chapter where things just don't seem catchable in the way they are.
-
Leaks aren't really problematic. And nature of things. What is more problematic is when people spread misinformation. E.G. taking speculation as a leak, or claim teasers as leaks etc. But misinformation is a general rule on the net. And sadly quite natural.
-
They are a business after all. Just because it's nice to work well with them, when there is a contract doesn't necessarly mean that renegotiating the licence won't turn out to be a hassle. There can be so many reasons why. Too expensive, numbers aren't satisfying enough or general strategy change for licencing. No matter…
-
And not forget map design. His high mobility feels getting more and more limited by random stuff on the map or new maps beeing designed in a way, that he can use his high mobility less than other killers.
-
The reasoning makes sense considering that rank isn't relevant anymore. The problem is more with the SBMM beeing a complete intransparent black box we as the players just have to trust working as intended and can barely check if it actually does.
-
I'm pretty sure Si stands for Simulation and they are finally releasing the Dating Sim we all craving. ^^ No Joke by side. No clue what it might be. Not much you can build up with yet.
-
The Master from Buffy the Vampire Slayer
-
Technically speculation based on leaks that it's only a killer with only two cosmetics(one of them likely legendary/very rare based on pricing) and an original survivor launching later with the midchapter.
-
Honestly, could be technical reason. Might be easier to link all three cosmetic parts together than just two.
-
That's why Map offerings might work better as secret offerings. Or it might be better, if offerings aren't officially know at all. It just add to a toxic mindset, that make you think "Oh. My opponent is wishing for that map. Wonder how they wanna exploit that." Starting the match already with a negative mind. I've seen…
-
Clown is actually human based on his backstory. If you watch/read stuff like Mindhunters e.g. which is about demystifying of serial killers, then you would realize how close he is to real ones. And it's not problematic to present those people as humans, because they are ones. Yes, that's frightening but actually fairer for…
-
I personally think it has less to do with tunneling rather with encouraging focus in certain situations, where a killer can track or see several survivors and will choose the one who is closer on death hook than the others. Of course that can already happen with killers who have a good memory, but when killer have the…
-
I'm always all in for a flamethrower killer, but we already had a good bunch of them lately. I think another stealth/track/preparation focused killer design would be nice. For preparation I could see somebody, who set up devices that can throw things by command e.g. A tracking focused killer would be the hardest to pull…
-
The ping indicator in the lobby didn't help. You did run on a regular bases into killers, with a green lobby but as soon that the game was running everything was laggy and slow. As annoying certain bugs on dedicates servers are, there aren't on the level as it was back then with P2P.
-
I don't think that BHVR is unable a project as big as DbD. I think the issue is more, that DbD became that big. They definitively didn't had in mind that the game will be a long life lasting game as a service with receiving a bunch of graphical updates with the ninth console generation. Honestly, if Deathgarden would have…
-
Behaviour already released a bunch of official information towards the event on their broadcast event. https://deadbydaylight.com/en/news/5th-anniversary-broadcast-round-up Assuming that we will see much more than what is know right now, is basicly speculation itself. And the information that was given is quite clear how…
-
I was quite lucky. Originally I wanted to do an archieve challenge for pulling people out of a locker with Iron Maiden. But the team I played against on Shelter Woods kinda gifted it to me or were too inexperienced^^ But I also hooked and hit survivors to build some pressure before I got to Tier 3.
-
So over a year passed. Got a new PC with a fresh Windows installation, tried everything in the general guidelines. But sadly I still suffer from this bug. It happens less, but is still happen quite regularly for me when playing SWF, that I have to restart DbD a couple of times. I refreshed this thread, because the issue…
-
Yeah the game mechanics are quite important as well. The horror feel wears off through repition. But it's gameplay still gives you something when it happens.
-
Since the retirement of New Moon Bouquet the Ebony Mori is the only ultra rare offering in the game. DbD has an achievement for burning an ultra rare offering. Doubt they will just retires Moris but maybe turn them into a new offering. At least they will have to come up with a new ultra rare. Maybe even one for survivors.…
-
Honestly I think, if one of this perk were an issue, than I would rather call out Infectious over Starstruck. But even without it I wouldn't be sure, if it's not just you playing good enough as Nurse or that survivors you've faced weren't good enough to break the combo.
-
The horrible pallette vacuum and the times self caring in a corner was a completely normal phenomenon^^
-
BL is the most situational exhaustion perk, that can even be useless on certain maps. That's definitively not the ideal level.
-
Nurse has clear tells and gives survivor feedback based on everything she is doing. You hear and see her charge her blink and for how long, You can see her blink and how fast she blinks to the location etc. That's why she is less frustrating to face. You see what she is doing. How she is doing it. etc. You still feel more…
-
I agree that NOED isn't too strong and dealable. But "Do Bones" still is used as a simple excuse for the frustration people feel with this perk. Especiall, if you done a good bunch of the totems, but still got hit with it, because nobody else did. Or because you can't find that ne totem that happened to be on a well hidden…
