Ps4, Devotion 2, Level 42. Been playing since the beginning of this June.

Reading is for NERDS!

I'm trash with flashlights. I completed one of the flashlight challenges using pallet stuns over about a dozen games and I've never pulled off a flashlight save - and at this point it's kind of laughable because I don't have enough flashlights left to "practice" comfortably. I managed to do the Dark Sense one by playing…

It's been a mixed bag for me. I'll be at 70 on the next couple of play sessions, but I haven't unlocked all the lore completely. It's pretty frustrating that some of the lore challenges are directly tied into challenge nodes that require "toxic" play, or can be thwarted by just one DC. The lore is what I want more than the…

This was a weird post to read on the toilet

Doc as he stands now is my favorite killer, though I'm interested and hopeful regarding his changes. I'm fairly confident that he's going to have add-ons that will reduce his Shock Blast recharge time, though it's just whimsical speculation until we see it at work in the PTB. If the aim is to make him more fun to play as,…

Thanks so much for the answers, I was utterly clueless and dumb lol
-
Holy crap - shows how much I've used that perk, right? I never noticed myself screaming when I procced it as survivor. I guess the constant screaming after being downed was a glitch on them from the punishment gods. Sweet.
-
On PS4 as well and I've gotten a fair share of salt from survivors (mostly as survivor, rarely as killer). I've only ever had one salty message from a killer and that was because they mistook me for a pretty toxic player in the trial. It actually turned into a pretty nice venting session and the kid felt a lot better after…

Jeff and Huntress.

Just gimme full struggle points before the Entity takes me.
-
Jesus dude, this is great work. Thank you for taking the time to put this together and do the editing where necessary - it shows a lot of love for the game and trying to benefit the community. This is the kind of post I would have created an account to just express appreciation for; well done.

Seriously, I can nail Great Skill Checks on Ruin like 96% of the time. Ruin doesn't make a difference to me. Regular Style Great Skill Checks? Looking at a strong 40% success rate.
-
Yup! I think they had BM, BBQ, and maybe IAE but my counter hemorrhaged in the blink of an eye. I made my peace with being meat on the hook that match.
-
I started running Distortion a few weeks ago and it's been so useful in helping determine so many perks the Killer might be running and giving me the opportunity to adjust my gameplay to compensate. I've only had one game where it literally ran out before two minutes in and I was baffled.
-
I'd honestly just like a thumbs-up/thumbs-down emote to be added for survivors
-
Thanks for the recommendations, yall - I appreciate it
-
I'd like to see Premonition get some sort of change to make it more viable. I've only ever used it as a placeholder for Spine Chill if my current survivor doesn't have Spine Chill. The Kindred change has vastly improved my solo survivor experience and it's now a fixture in my builds.

Had a great game a few nights ago where two teammates dc'd and the Ghostface we were playing against would sneak up to the opposite side of the gens we were working on and peak around at us. Scared the crap out of me the first time his face popped out, but ended up being hilarious. Had a lot of hilarious little…

I'm on PS4 and play a couple of hours daily. I've only had 2 games against him out of somewhere between 20-30 games since the chapter release. The first game wasn't enough to give me an impression one way or the other - the second one killer dc'd after 3 gens popped. Somewhat related - it feels like months since I've seen…

Same. Since Ruin is usually up in most of the games I play, it's like intensive training on how to regularly hit Great Checks. But on PS4, ping can really throw you off sometimes. I've literally gotten the sound before, hit L1, and the marker leaps to just after the end of the window and the Gen erupts.
-
As either role, I pray they don't DC after the first bad play. That DC seems to happen about 70% of the time. Then again, the way I feel about most streamers is basically the same way I feel about some guy trying to push his demo CD on me in a parking lot - "Ew."
-
Thanks - I see how that could be really beneficial to them. It could really go a long way to making survivors question their confidence in using a pallet.
-
There was some buzz a month or so ago about BHVR getting in contact with the actor who played Quentin to discuss some things, so hopefully something will come of that. Also the Elm Street rights just reverted to the Craven estate, so hopefully they are doing some work getting some Englund Krueger skins (and a taller model,…

I sigh deeply, from the bottom of my soul, and press onward. I remind myself that people are always new and learning and occasionally I am going to be there for their growing pains. I don't place a deep, totality of joy in the match. I remind myself that there's probably a fair number of times where I'm that crappy team…
-
Make it so a DC equals automatic black pip for all remaining players in the trial.
-
PS4 doesn't seem to have to atrocious wait times that PC has been afflicted with recently. I'm PS4, so I have enough time for a page or two from a book (currently reading Endymion) or to scroll through my regular feeds for a bit.
-
I don't know about best, but most memorable was blindly jumping out of a second story window on Haddonfield right into Freddy high fiving my face as I landed between him and the survivor he was chasing. I think everyone involved died laughing.
-
Why would you say something so controversial, and yet so brave?
-
It does say kill by any means, yes. Tbf, quite often kill and the way the verb is used frequently in this game equates to Mori, Rancor, Devour Hope or some such that allows the killer to, you know - kill, as opposed to sacrifice. I'm not the only person who read that and thought along the lines of "it's Mori time." I think…
-
I just had the challenge selected and was doing a Leatherface daily, not even thinking about the challenge (other than trying to calculate which killer had how many ebonys in the bank and who I was, y'know, DECENT with, etc), when in post game I got the completion notification. "Huh. Well I'll be."
-
Ohhhhhhh yeah. Now that, that right there is definitely something worth stressing over when the time comes
-
I play on PS4 and it happens occasionally but not enough to make survivor unplayable. It just so happens to happen mainly when you're really looking forward to playing a game, so it's most likely just the Entity trying to give you a hard time.
-
I think I'm at the verge of turning off messages myself for similar reasons. It's dumb to me how toxic survivors are to each other. I maybe received 1 message from a killer who was miffed, but they mixed me up with a toxic survivor on my team (ended up being a good chat with the killer). I always get a bit of a sad when I…
-
Gonna need the Scoops Ahoy outfit and Momma Bear Steve outfit.
-
I honestly see Nea as more of the "b-girl" since she's a tagger (which I think is a great inclusion to the roster). I'm more along the lines of a proper goth chick - spends all her time listening to the Cure and Depeche Mode, fills poster boards with Sylvia Plath quotes, hair like an electroshock patient inducted via high…
-
A totem counter for Small Game would be a great addition to the perk, especially for solo survivor. I try to be very totem conscious during my games but it's pretty easy to lose track in the heat of things.
-
Thanks for responding Think of the power as closer to diet Spirit, just no collision for pallets in their down states or vault points For the Be My Victim aura reveal, it would reveal the aura of the rescuing survivor (I see how that was unclear, thanks) Groin to Gullet time scaling isn't set in stone, I just like the idea…

What's really dope is that it looks like you could actually SEE out of the mask. Very impressed!
