Most games can easily recreate matches from telemetry data. Dbd even records all the telemetry needed to do so, as well. This isn't some "complicated system", and it's pretty much industry standard for match based pvp games, especially ones that have any sort of competitive pretensions. BHVR just does not want to put forth…
-
I would say you guessed correctly.
-
Yep, it sucks. The only advantage you get is simple though... You get to go find a new game in 2 minutes, and you know it won't be against THAT killer... assuming your queue times are decent.
-
Even without people bringing them, Survivors find at least 1 key in chest in just about every single match (not necessarily 1 PER surv) , so yeah.
-
The hypocrisy here is staggering. Go reread your OP. "you are using a third party software to give you an advantage that you normally wouldn’t be able to get, so it’s as simple as that: if you use a third party software to give you an advantage (advantage being constant communication with your team) your cheating." Game…

Games with mechanics that are anything like that are typically designed 100% around that mechanic. If these devs tried to shoehorn it in, well, congrats, we'll all be waiting til dbd2 lands before ever playing dbd again.
-
It's also kinda funny that people keep wanting the devs to "do something" about camping and tunneling, when the head balance guy legit tunnels right off the hook all the time, in any game state, as well as camping (especially for Survivors daring to use sprint burst).
-
There can be fun moments if you walk over to them while looking off in another direction, act confused, and 180 spin and hit them. I like to imagine that occasionally causes a little pee to come out, not unlike spoopy Myers.
-
The proper way to limit tunneling is to create an actual, tangible penalty for being injured. Currently, there is zero solid reasons for a killer to let an injured survivor go vs a healthy one, because that injured survivor is just as effective at everything as the healthy one. The only way to limit that survivor currently…

Found it: MandyTalk Mod › Posts: 9,411 December 3 TsulanDec 3, 2020 I never understood, why they would choose questions, they can´t answer. It would be different, if the questions came from the chat during a live stream. But those questions are chosen and were cleared before the stream even starts. We choose the questions…
-
Someone from BHVR did say exactly that in another thread on this forum. I think it may have been mandytalk. Not sure how much they count as actually speaking for bvhr, though.
-
No, don't agree. It simply speeds up the end of the game. If you're the last one to go up after everyone is dead, there's nothing you can do except drag out the game a tiny bit more. You'll get more points by getting into a new game that much faster as you would for anything else you could do in this one.
-
Are we at all surprised the devs managed to fail to consider that the one of the only perks in the game that gives you a mori effect might be affected by the mori change unless they fiddled with it. Someone should probably go check on Rancor as well. I wouldn't be half surprised if this gets called a "feature".
-
Around the same time they get hit validation working properly, maybe.
-
I've said this for ages, but BHVR will always take the easiest path out whenever possible. It's why we get so many bandaid perks and powers to deal with game mechanics issues. They rail about how we call them lazy, yet every opportunity, they take the easy way out. Like pigs traps in egc, legion's nerf. I think they half…
-
Ah, it may be on one of his streams then, might go look for it if I can stand it. This is true, BHVR is really not good at consistency or transparency when it comes to perk/power descriptions, so it's definitely just as likely. I'm willing to accept second hand confirmation on its face for this one.
-
If it doesn't happen real soon, then it's likely not going to happen til 2021. These devs take Christmas off 100%, no questions. They once went ahead on Christmas break even though we had Myers running around with chainsaws. So let's hope it happens real quick like.
-
Have we had any actual confirmation on that? Seems nonsensical to add language indicating that the perk resets once used, as every perk that works similarly does so. Also the fact that it says deactivates instead of reset. I'm absolutely willing to believe you're correct, just wondering if anyone official has chimed in on…
-
Jeff seems to have a bit of a dad gut to me.
-
Always remember... If you're a trash killer, and they died to you, then what does that say about their skills, exactly?
-
It's supposed to only work once. Currently, it has unlimited uses.
-
She actually did get something of a rework, and it was to buff her, since she was kind of a mess for quite a while.
-
Honestly, that last part is kind of useless to add... Anyone who WAS cheating would say the same. This also does look an awful lot like what would happen if you tried to install a secondhand save file and screwed it up... Or used that program that let's you alter steam stats and achievements. Regardless, none of us can…
-
Basement works great for any highly mobile killer without needing to camp. Billy for example, can turn around when he gets the unhook note and be back in plenty of time to down one or both of the Survivors coming up the stairs. Lockers are a wash, if the killer didn't see you come out and didn't see scratch marks, they…
-
Good nurses either see you starting to double back or learn from your previous play and aim the camera towards the ground when you do to short blink instead of their original long blink. They can't actually stop mid blink.
-
Collecting your power works so well for trapper, after all. Traps are way too much of a coin flip to dro down to collecting them and only having one at a time.
-
Yes, let's go ahead and add FNAF, superheroes, and jedi to the game. That's exactly what most of us want.
-
If only that was the only bug that's been sticking around that long. They spent months if not a year setting up ded servers, it's questionable if they even CAN fix them, imo.
-
Here's a crazy idea... Maybe they should have fixed the bugs BEFORE pushing them to live... You know, like a lot of people suggested after seeing the pathetic state of the PTB. Instead, we got the ptb bugs PLUS dozens more (even if you don't count the ones that "aren't actually bugged"), including completely broken perks…
-
If you've only been here a month, then what you did wasn't even face camping. That ship sailed a long time ago. You were just regular camping.
-
Welp, I owe you an apology, rewards did change for week 2, but they actually went down slightly. I guess I was bhvrd in the end, after all.
-
Well OP, I owe you an apology... Login rewards actually went DOWN slightly for week 2, because BHVR, I guess.
-
Lmao, have you seen almo play? He's the last person you would be making this request to if you had.
-
Considering we're trapped in the killer now even with it turned off, I agree. Either activate both or shut off both until you're ready to activate both.
-
Relax, even if every single survivor used DS every single match, the devs would make no meaningful nerfs to it.
-
Apparently power struggle can be used multiple times in a match. I heard this one second hand, however.
-
Yeah, and you're not alone. Just always remember if you wind up giving a camper multiple kills doing that, you're encouraging them. It's also why I can't take kill rate stays seriously. I see a whole lot of people throw away the whole team just to try and save one guy. I guess I'm just a bit more mercenary in how I play, I…
-
Yeah, my favorite so far was a Dwight that blinded me as a Myers in Tier 3 from like 5 feet in front of me, right after I stabbed someone... I wasn't even like animation locked (this was back when insta blinds were around). I was laughing about that the entire rest of the game.
-
Yeah, it is pretty terrifying. Honestly, despite the general belief of many forum Survivors, there's a large number of killers who don't camp or only camp when the situation calls for it (like you hook a guy and there's 2 Survivors just standing around waiting like they don't have anything better to do). There's also a…
-
Funny enough, this works way too often even without light born and while totally blind. There's a concerning number of potatoes out there who blind a killer and just stand there in the same spot the whole time. Not likely to happen if it's a clear bully squad like your example though.
-
Well, there is a base game mechanic that counters it. That's why you can now unhook from any angle, and as a consequence, "face camping" no longer actually exists. At the time, before the unhook from any angle, the killer could literally prevent the unhook prompt from even appearing to Survivors, by standing right up…
-
You are just arguing semantics and it's not worthwhile. You're trying to apply a literal meaning to a term that isn't meant to be taken literally.
-
Test
-
The easiest way to relieve the grind is to just do away with perk tiers altogether. There's really no reason for them to even exist. The only point to tiers is to artificially increase the length of time spent grinding, period. At the very least, just eliminate one tier and have them all go "Enduring - Basic" - > "Enduring…

My statement was that yes, the twins power setup actively promotes slugging, because at the level of both sides being good mechanical players and both sides are actively trying to WIN the match, the Twins optimal strategy is injuring all or most Survivors, the using Victor to down all the injured players. I'd argue that…
-
The way the twins are built absolutely encourages slugging and, to a lesser degree, camping. If you're playing to win, then you are most likely injuring everyone with Charlotte and some Victor, then slugging as many as possible with Victor. Against good Survivors who are also trying to win, it's pretty much required,…
-
You stay in pairs and stay healed, and Victor becomes essentially a periodic annoyance.
-
For real? Did they change it on purpose, or is it just another one of the 200 bugs in this patch?
-
Kill rates are the absolute worst metric to use for anything in this game, when you have 500 variables that contribute to it, not the least is Survivors throwing away easy 3es and serving up 4ks because they are bored and want to try and unhook the one dude who is actually in danger. It's even more hilarious that they…
-
It's pretty poor. Even if they fix it combined with flip flop, it's still going to be poor. It'll be a tiny bit useful early on, until killers get used to just always going around pallets rather than doing it situationally, at that point it becomes a when-the-stars-align perk that only works when you waste 2 perk slots for…
