3-4 kills should not be the norm , in ideal match making 2 should die and 2 should escape if one side really outplays the other +1 to that side and a 4 escape or kill should be distant outliers... this clearly isn't the current case for the game

the entire point of the breakable walls is that the killer will have to choose to take some time to make that area weaker for the rest of the match, they are probably experimenting with ways they can make strong loops more intractable on the killer side
