I'll play devil's advocate here: You only want a rework because of how strong it use to be. You want another crutch perk that's easy mode for survivors. How do I know? Because you aren't proposing buffs for other survivor perks that have been useless for even longer than MoM was. When the dynamic of a modern DBD trial is…

I put him on the bottom of the tier list where Freddy use to be. His power just isn't good: It can't be used with Exposed. After gaining Killer Instinct, it's hard to catch other survivors unless they are very close. You'll go into cooldown. The last nerf made his Frenzy speed way too slow. Deep Wounds doesn't really do…

I've taken quite a huge break as well. I maybe long in every few days to do a couple dailies and that's it. I doubt once WoW Classic is released I'll hang around TBH. I'm having a hard time enjoying the game anymore. I experience more frustration than fun lately.

I recommend every new killer start off with Leatherface. He's a great starter killer and you'll learn the basic fundamentals of the game such as looping and patrolling gens with him real quick. Grind out BBQ, and grind some more and funnel your points into Hag afterwards until you get the Ruin teachable. By that time, if…

I dodge super mainstream streamers just because the dynamic of the game is changed. When you have a streamers with 500+ viewers, there's a good chance they are gonna have super try-hard survivors try to jump in que with them with their best items and perks to try and impress. This just isn't the type of game I want to…

I highly recommend watching streamers Zubatlel and Scottjund play Huntress. They've got months of previous vods, so you can watch until your heart's content. This is really just the best way to learn. Watch how they deal with loops and practice it on your own time. Practice their methods instead of forming bad habits on…

I think something that could help is by adding infinite randomized minor rituals. So we could keep our daily rituals but after you are finished with them, have minor rituals that would award something like 5k BPs and you could do as many as you want. Randomized rituals will pop up (e.g. "Complete 1 sacrifice with the…

It's kind of redundant at this point. 57 killer perks x 3 tiers each (level 1, 2 and 3) x an average of ~50k BPs per blood web multiplied by 15 killers. Do the math: (57 x 3 x 50,000)(15) = (8,550,000)(15) = 128,250,000 blood points to get all perks for all killers. For every killer they add to the game, add an additional…

A off-brand streamer beat me on a trial I was casually playing on a weaker killer. I was just grinding BPs and not even using add-ons, trying to make the game fun for everyone. Super casual, laid back game on amazing internet I think most survivors would be thankful for. This guy decides to BM me at the exit gates to look…

I'm not a fan for petty reasons. I don't like losing stacks because I hit the obsession. That's just me though. If it locked in at 8 stacks, I'd probably use it on my M1 killers.
-
Let's see how that works for you against a decent killer: DH - easy to bait and high skill cap perk. Good luck. DS - Enduring MoM - sure, your one time crutch ability might save you Adrenaline - cute, you think you'll survive all gens being completed. Survivors that use something like this set up are really gonna be in for…

Xenomorph would be amazing. Watching this movie as a kid, the Alien use to freak me out. Xeno is truly a scary killer. It's one killer that I've thought about a lot. Personally, I'd want a hybrid of Billy and the Pig. I'd like to see a high mobility/stealth killer. In the movies, Xeno was always quick and sneaky. That…
-
The killers that counter MoM are the higher tier placed killers. For regular M1 killers, it's just gonna make them weaker. I'm not sure why they didn't test this perk first before implementing it.
-
My only issue is with certain killers like Clown. His asthma throws me off so much I can't hear normal survivor breathing over his. Or like Huntress, where you play her so long you her freakin' tune stuck in your head and start humming it yourself. Kind of wish, playing as killer, you could disable those sounds.
-
Is this troll bait? You're not punishing the killer by DCing, you're punishing your teammates. It makes the match less fun for killer sure, but in the end who really suffered for your decision? Second, you can't get mad at someone for using something that's in the game with the intention of being used. By your definition,…

Like.. survivor forced tunnels? That is, a teammate rescuing you when the killer is RIGHT THERE. Tell your team pre-game to use their brain or use borrowed time if they wanna make bad plays. This is a hard pill for survivors to swallow for some reason, but this isn't the killers fault because your teammates are bad. True…
-
Someone probably dropped the ball on accidentally revealing the info. I can sympathize with their decision. My only gripe is to hold off on adding more survivor perks until they can be tested like everything else released. We're still figuring out the content from last chapter.
-
Any killer can instantly grab a survivor off gens or whatever. I think you may be referring to sort of a meme Spirit build. With some of her add-ons, she can phase walk without you hearing hear. She'll bump into the back of you during the phase walk (then know your there), come out of phase and grab you.
-
@Acromio ?? Are you saying pallet loopers are exploiting?
-
(Exhaustion Perk) I'm fond of BL because of the passive bonus. Kindred Adrenaline (Whatever) Pharmacy/Ace in the hole/Borrowed time
-
Despite what survivor mains say, killer takes much more skill to play efficiently than survivor does. Not to say being good at survivor doesn't take skill, don't take that the wrong way. I've had plenty of trials as survivor where I didn't even see the killer the entire trial and escaped easily. You can be an extremely…

I say GG regardless of anything. It's just good sportsmanship. Problem is everyone wants to get butt hurt over everyone's playstyle and this game becomes a salt fest.
-
Probably because they are tired of playing against her.
-
Great job necroing a 2 month old thread guys.
-
DCing is an issue. People rage quit on me all the time. Doesn't really bother me because the survivors are just screwing each other over, not me lol. Rage quitters is an issue that plague most games and most games don't do anything about it. Punishing DCers is kind of a sensitive thing. People have computer issues,…

The issue is the hatch mechanic, not the exit gates. Playing hide'n'seek with the last survivor for 20 minutes while they find the hatch is redundant. End game is usually very quick with the exception of the hatch.
-
Yea, he's strong but that's okay. Killers need a couple strong killers. If you try and make every killer Wraith tier, this game just won't be fun. Nerf Billy and he essentially becomes scuffed Leatherface, and Leatherface needs a buff. So, do you see the problem with swinging the nerf bat around?
-
Basically I don't use it unless I am playing Nurse. It's the only killer that benefits from the little bit of wider view.
-
It happens to everyone especially if you don't use tombstone often. You might get anxious or the survivor is about to get to a pallet/window and you pull the trigger too quick. You have to be right on them and actually see the "kill" prompt.
-
His weakness is playing the trial normally. He lacks mobility, has a huge terror radius, no way to mask his terror radius, one of the tallest killer (can see him over loops), can easily be looped, has no way to slow the progression of the game down. He's a scuffed Billy. His only strength is his AOE chainsaw with the…

Hands down Franklin's Demise. A lobby full of toolboxes/medkit is getting a troll build with Franklin's. I don't necessarily plan on winning the trial but it's so fun running around claiming everyones tool boxes. Someone has the keep the survivor add-on count in line.

I think it's fine for a looping build but on the overall grand scheme of the trial, I think you'll suffer in some areas which may turn out to work against you. Without a perk to slow down gens or at the very minimum a tracking perk, you're gonna have a rough time. The time it takes for a 110% killer to traverse a map with…
-
I didn't use it anyways. Even with the buff I probably wasn't gonna use it. It's so overrated. You know how hard it is to keep 4 survivors injured the entire trial? It takes 80 seconds to repair a generator for a solo survivor. With the full thana improved buff that will add 19.2 seconds assuming you can keep every…
-
I don't think any decent killer "relies" on Ruin. It's so RNG with totem spawns. Seems half the time your totem is destroyed in < 1 min. IMHO it's a very boring perk to run. I'd honestly use Pop Goes The Weasel instead if it was on a token system instead of a timer. The problem is Ruin is the best of the gen regression…
-
bbq/enduring/spirit fury/ruin is pretty much meta for all perks with exceptions with killers like nurse or hag.
-
W is the counter.
-
Dono, I personally think he's garbage. Weird how people think he's good. He's kinda fun to play I guess but he seems to be lacking stopping power. If a Freddy is better than him, that's saying a lot.
-
Tunneling is singling someone out to kill them for whatever reason. If the survivor unhooks when you're 20 feet away and you double back to insta-down that survivor, it's not tunneling, it's punishing bad altruism. If you happen to find the same survivor twice in a row because they aren't good at hiding, it's not…

1.) Bad players that can't take responsibility for their own badness. 2.) DS players that DC because they missed their DS.
-
That's why I think rank should be independent of other peoples' rank. It should just be random matchmaking. This would take care of the inconsistent ranks.
-
So I will ELI5 this since this topic has completely went off the rails. There is a huge difference between a new killer (my OP was directed at) not pressuring gens correctly and optimal players finishing gens super quick. This topic quickly went from giving advice to a new killer straight to gen rushing. To tell him a new…
-
Yes obviously. I've feel like this conversation is going no where and you are completely missing the context of what I am saying.
-
You are linking Marth's depip squad and I am very familiar with it. This is kind of a poor example to use if you are debating gen completion rate because they are a coordinated SWF group perk'd up with the intention of rushing gens. If I was a dev and I saw this, I would view this as an extreme and unlikely scenario. Why…
-
Whispers is definitely not garbage. It's one of the strongest perks a killer has.
-
I didn't say gens weren't completed very quick. If you read my post, I said with the way it's designed, it's just the way it is. It happens to me all the time. It's happens to the best killers. I have matches on my killer where I absolutely bully the survivors, end of with a 1K and 30k points and they will still complete…
-
I think the issue is it's not really proportioned well. When I first saw the picture when people started making fun of it, I thought it was altered because it doesn't look natural. She looks odd just like Kim Kardashian.
-
It's an issue for every killer not running a tracking perk. I kind of wish they would add some kind of default whispers after a certain time just so the match will end already. Or a time limit on the hatch would be great. The best thing you can do is either run Whispers or find a high point on that map to find the other…
-
It's not a complicated concept. If a survivor isn't being chased, they're most likely doing generators. I know this is a hard pill to swallow for other killer mains, but if gens are completed and you are sitting at the end of the trial twiddling your thumbs saying, "oh gee wiz, they gen rushed me", you probably didn't do…
