I think it is. So I am not having fun as much as I had before playing as survivor. The beautifull parts of the game is chases and mind-games in my opinion. Not doing gens, not gen rush, not immediate hooks.

Hahaha also if I die, I would not mind. Sometimes killers just leave me and that makes me feel bad. I knowingly run no mither to encourage killers about chasing me and making easier to catch me for them. Also no mither improving my game. You are also right. I used to use self-care a lot when I started to play DBD as a new survivor. After I took it off, I would not play well for a while.
