why do you go out of your way to give one of the few straight guys on your list an extra little bigoted view to go along with his sexuality?
-
OK! you laughed at noed being compared to hatch, then brought up a completely different scenario. Hatch is a gift for survivors that requires no perk to utilize. And you agreed that a perk that is RNG isnt a crutch so thank you for agreeing that noed is not a crutch.
-
So just a whole different scenario? You questioned how noed, a perk that can be countered, could be compared to a hatch that spawns irregardless of a perk. Yes rng can be a #########. However it doesn't negate the fact that the hatch is a built in "noed" for survivors that they didn't use a perk slot to take advantage of. By…
-
How is it different? Besides the hatch happens for any survivor at the cost of no perk slot. If running a perk can be considered a crutch surely escaping through hatch when you brought nothing and did nothing besides finding it first is a crutch
-
Lol OK. Small minds. Hatch is a gift for survivors, at best for killers its more blood points and a lame stop gap from survivors holding the game hostage. You do you i understand entitlement is a prevailing characteristic in society these days.
-
As a killer main I disagree, survivors need to switch in lobby to match thier team. I'll agree the last second switch is unfortunate but I can't see a way to avoid it
-
Just because you cant refute an argument doesn't make it not good. Why should 1 survivor be "rewarded" with a free escape they didn't earn? If a killer has sacrificed 3 survivors with multiple gens why should 1 survivor be gifted a win. Would you be OK with a button that the killer can find if the exit gates are powered…
-
Again its completely free.... you don't have to bring anything to benefit from the hatch. Killer has a great game hooking everybody and loses a kill because the survivor found the hatch they did nothing to earn? Again if noed is a crutch that bad killers use at the cost of a perk slot, the hatch escape is equivalent or…
-
Still completely free that rewards a bad survivor at no cost of a perk slot
-
It absolutely is free.... did you run a perk to have the hatch spawn? No its just something that, originally was intended to stop survivors from holding the game hostage, but now has devolved to the second to last survivor sitting on waiting for his teammate to die. People love saying that noed is a crutch but at least it…
-
Hatch is a free noed for survivors, a way to "win" a match when they have clearly lost. Yet costs no perk slots and is always there
-
Swf is not broken in the confines of the game, its the added communcstion that cones with 3rd party voip that becomes the unfair part. Its absurd that a in-game chat hasn't been introduced. Adding this and balancing around it is the only way to address this problem.
-
While accurate that the hatch is good because it intiates the end game, it could have easily been implemented that if a survivor hasn't done anything to progress the game for x amount of time the end game happens. This way no hostage taking and no robbing a killer of a kill when they have 1 survivor left with many…
-
the hatch is exactly as rewarding for the one survivor who finds it, assuming no key, as noed. yet noed takes a whole perk slot and has the chance of being completely negated. The hatch is in the game for one reason and one reason only, because the game was going to die if it kept letting that one try hard survivor…
-
yes, absolutely. what did you actually report?
-
I mean in every game as you go up in skill level the meta becomes increasingly more important. as the gap in skill shrinks the strength of the build you are running become more important. I feel like this plays out in every aspect of life.
-
Ash! Hail to the king baby!
-
so you are contending that a killer should be able to keep 2-3 mental clocks going on how long its been since they saw and downed a survivor they were not intending to tunnel? a clock that doesn't start when they hook, but starts after they get unhooked? all too often i see survivors search out the killer after being…
-
there is no definition of camping or tunneling. as its not referenced anywhere in the game. they do not exist. they are colloquialisms that some players have used to describe behavior.
-
Exactly this. With ping stuff like this is always going to happen. Just now with a neutral observer you can be more sure its your potato connection that is the culprit
-
Could this not be a case of the survivor with a bad connection and in reality the killer was much closer. That's the thing with server-side both sides are going to have cases where what they see doesn't jive with how the server sees it. Like an umpire in a baseball game sometimes they see things differently.
-
Yes status effects that increase bleeding don't increase blood orbs. The inconvenience that is seen from no mither, pales to what a terrible time it would be if oni could use those perks. He would never not have his power.
-
They have a fix and are just going to sit on it for the next week or two?
-
So you are claiming that you take BP hit for letting a survivor wiggle out. Because as a killer you are penalized when a survivor wiggles out of your grasp you are docked points.
-
Perhaps they feel 2 uses in a match is the desired effect. I would rather get instant use from a perk instead of a perk that i have to get 5 tokens on based on conditions a little out of my control, that gets cleansed 99 percent of the time before reaching even 3 tokens
-
Where the offending player is deliberately causing the bug to get an unfair advantage. By your logic survivors can be reported for continuing to play against an oni who hugs out and can’t use his power
-
Where the offending player is deliberately causing the bug to get an unfair advantage. By your logic survivors can be reported for continuing to play against an oni who hugs out and can’t use his power.
-
Then the only fair option here is to ignore them until they are the last survivor. Down them at the end pick them up and drop them and hope they can stand up on their own. Unless the killer is forcing them into the bug it’s not bug abuse because the above scenario is the only “fair” way to handle this. If the killer…
-
why is the killer expected to fix a bug? if the killer has been chasing someone for 30+ seconds and then they get stuck should they just eat that time? are the other survivors not exploiting the game when they continue to do objectives while the killer is playing bug fixer forgoing a down to be altruistic? you are wrong…
-
i play whatever killer i have challenges for. Clown is my favorite because he is fat, gross and hilarious! I don't play survivor because not being in a SWF is a huge disadvantage.
-
no, from a killer main, just no.
-
is it fair for a killer to sacrifice a long chase just because the survivor gets stuck at the end? its not fair for anybody but its not an exploit or bug abuse.
-
because the western world is infatuated with this word toxic, and apply it to literally anything that could possibly make them a little uncomfortable.
-
and why is this the killers responsibility. the other survivors all benefit from the killer wasting time giving up a down. if you were chasing the survivor for 30+ seconds and then they get stuck you think its fair to expect killers to just junk all that time?
-
A free down doesn't do much. I typically do this myself, unhook and put down outside the stuck. however the killer taking valuable time out of his game to help someone stuck, with absolutely no benefit kinda sucks. if the killer is expected to "fix this bug" then all of the survivors should stand in place until he moves…
-
Guys iri heads and noed is so OP! 1k is just way to much for a dirty killer....
-
substitute ghost face for hag and you got a deal!
-
thank you! this is exactly what i was looking for!
-
Thank you all for the comments!
-
so if i don't want to prestige i can still get all the perks for a character eventually or do you have to get to P3 for the neverending? also thank you for the reply!
-
I love that his perks have made for some fun with all her builds. I know they are meme builds but I think they are fun
-
Also I hear this is more on the side of steam, Sony, and Microsoft. Its not just DBD getting that money on the transactions
-
The only way to bridge that gap is to make native voice comms. But then all the solos gnash their teeth at that. Giving multiple avenue of hud/aura reading will ruin the game as the gleaning of information mid game via exploration and perks is nearly the whole game at its core
-
We now have reached the point of literrly asking the devs to ban the "s" key....
-
Everybody wants Jason, I get it he is one of the most iconic killers from the 80's and definitely the most notable not in the game. However I have no idea what his power would be. I guess he could just walk through barriers....
-
Its impossible. Comms will always give a significant advantage. Its boggling the amount of people in this game who think queuing solo will ever be as effective as queuing up as a team in a team game
-
its still boasting some of its highest numbers so the premise is purely false. There is no matchmaking. rank means nothing, any potato with enough games can hit red, and any strong player that spreads their game around could easily be green yellow and possibly brown. there is no accepted win condition yet so until then…
-
not fast enough to make up for every little hit box collision or the "slight" recuperation period.
-
here is a tip to enjoy the game. never, ever, not once, even a little bit, take the sad tears of a salty loser as gospel. you could put anything in their favor and they will say your 'w' key is op. some people just cant handle things.
-
exactly this. its a semi elegant way to extend the game and kinda extends the reward vs risk of hex at the expense of 50% of your perks. I think they are strong but OP is just more hyperbole
