When will BHVR add a real new item into the game?
The temporary items are cool and all, but for 8 years there hasn't been a new item added that can also have add-ons, or can be hoarded for large amounts, please consider adding more items!

they have stated in a Q&A earlier this year that they want to test new items in these temporary modes so it depends on the feedback now!

I really like the smoke bomb, but to be honest anything would be really cool to have as a permament item haha

Firecrackers should be reworked since flash grenades exist…
Instead of blinding the killer sparks shoot out for a time. The animation covers the visuals in the radius. The audio is dampened in proximity to the radius
Then add a perk that allows one to collect temporary firecrackers by rummaging. Increases the maximum number of the same Firecracker by 1.0 -
In theory, they could release firecrackers as a full item.
They even have the add-ons for it in game, it got found in the files.

Fully agree this is much-needed in the game. The game has felt stale for a long time due to the basic mechanics remaining the same for pretty much its entire history. Let's get rid of old useless items and add-ons that nobody ever uses. I think the main reason we rarely see new items is because resources are focused on new content that generates revenue $. New items don't directly result in more revenue, but I think they would help prevent people from getting bored with the game and leaving it.

Official smoke bombs could be interesting as a stealth item maybe even have the zone as an aura blocker
