Survivor Item Concept: Salt Pouch
General
The salt can be poured on the ground and will make a small pile. The pile has a small area of effect around the size of a doorway. After x amount of times walking over it, the salt will disappear from the ground.
Killers and survivors will be slowed downed when walking over the pile of salt, killers slow down will be a little bit higher than the survivor slow down.
Rarity
The rarity of the pouch increases the number of uses (number of salt piles one pouch can create) and the size of the are of effect.
Addons
Addons may vary the effects of the salt towards survs and killers. For example there will be a very or ultra rare that makes survs not slow down at all. One addon could also make it so survs can’t use up the salt when walking over it.
another special (ultra rare) could block the path for the killer completely for several seconds, after that it will be out of uses and the number of total uses will be dropped to one.
Addons may be different types of Salt (sea salt, Himalayan salt, fleur de sel) or different types of herbs that can be added to salt.
Background
This item was kinda inspired by Phasmophobia (but the effect is obv different there), and I know there is also an offering named like this that increases luck (the icon was poorly cut out of that one). But salt increasing luck and salt used against evil spirits are two somewhat different types of myths, and I guess it kinda fits as an item.
the use may differ: obviously it can be used to strengthen a loop but it may also help in Combo with Breakout to help others wiggle out, block the basement etc.
