Enjoying the update. Too bad hackers are still a thing.
Never ran into any obvious hackers until today. Couldn't pick up anyone without being blinded when there was no one nearby with a flashlight equipped. I'll take a stab in the dark and say it was one of the two twitch streamers I went against.

Shrine of secrets update
Will I need to rebuy all the perks I've purchased in order to unlock the tiers across all characters? I'm more invested in killer but not every character meets my tastes so I'll skip them. I tend to take a lot of breaks and only log in if there's a perk I'm missing at the shrine. I've got every killer perk minus pinhead…

For some reason you can add to the global contribution by continuously accepting and pausing the challenge. I don't know if it's just on my end but I thought I should ask.

Just curious to know what her perks are like. I returned after a break and played some survivor matches for the survey. I have not yet played against her or any killer using one of her perks.

Is the PS5 version of DBD worth installing instead of sticking to PS4?
A while ago I had it installed briefly before deleting due to low space (Trophies don't carry over, but I don't bother with them in multiplayer games). Now I have a new SSD drive so I have more than enough space.

Got 6k shards without buying bubba?
Around the time when I started playing DBD I wanted BBQ but did not want to buy bubba so I skipped him. I did use one of those splinter offerings to try him out (I did not enjoy the experience). I guess that counts as me being eligible for shards?

Lunar envelope
So from what I understand in order to unlock the cosmetics someone has to interact with my envelope in order to unlock a reward. So does that mean I get nothing if nobody interacts with the envelope?

Plague buffs
I haven't used plague for a long time. Now she's finally getting updated I might have another go. How's the hit detection currently? In the past it's been very hit or miss. Puking on survivors only for them to run through it unphased got very annoying.

How fast are zombies with addons?
All the players I've seen just use addons to make the tentacle power up faster or nothing at all.

Does the bot matches need to reset all my loadouts?
I did the bot matches for both sides to see what they were like and for free bloodpoints. Once I returned to my characters I found all of them had their entire loadout reset to default (perks, addons, cosmetics etc). Not a huge issue just kind of annoying.

Are the twins perks any good?
I skipped the twins and waited for the shrine to bring the perks. Now that hoarder has been added the other two will soon follow. Are any of them useful or are they all lackluster? If I can remember the only one that stood out to me was oppression but I've only seen it used against me once.

What does contaminated status do exactly?
I can't play the ptb since I'm on console. As survivors does the status do anything besides make you vulnerable to Nemesis' tentacle attack? The killer still has to hit you twice to down you. Plague can infect survivors and if they don't cleanse they become broken. With Nemesis it doesn't seem to be as big of a deal.

I have over a million bloodpoints. Can I just save them until the next chapter?
I really don't have anything to spend them on unless the shrine brings all the perks I want. I'm 50/50 on buying the trickster. He looks fun but not very strong. I would like to try his perks on other killers. Is it ok to save bloodpoints despite being over the limit? Is there a bot that checks your account?

Is there a DLC character you regret buying?
Could be different reasons but heres a few. The killer's power feels weak. Difficult to master. You just lost interest over time.

What's the deal with no brightness setting?
This is the only game I own that doesn't allow you to change the ingame brightness. Why is that? Does it give you an unfair advantage? These maps seem to be getting darker with each update. Can claiming bloodpoint rewards from Archives bypass the one million cap?
I usually spend my bloodpoints as I play. It's only recently that I have started saving my bloodpoints for a new character. I have not finished all the challenges at the archives but I have reached one million bloodpoints. If I finish a challenge and claim the reward will it add to the million or will it disappear?

Rank Reset Limit?
I'm feeling a little burnt out so I might take a break for awhile. Before the last reset I was rank 4 for Survivor and rank 8 for Killer. How far will my rank fall if I stop playing? I might still log in once a week to check the shrine for perks I don't have yet.

Friendly Killers acceptable?
Just curious. Something I'll encounter once in awhile. I don't mean letting the last survivor escape. From the start of the match to the end where the killer is neither farming or afk. They're just goofing around not caring about losing and annnoying the entity.

Splinter offerings disabled?
I heard that BHVR would getting rid of these at some point. Yesterday I used one to try out leather face and it worked but then I tried to use freddy and nothing happened. Strange thing is at the end of the match it showed the offering with no perks or addons equipped.
