It really is awful right now. It's telling that surv bonus is at +100% nearly all the time. Just sweatstain after sweatstain killer. While you get paired with survivors that are either terrible or just actually throwing.

The problem is that this game is far too punishing for low-mid level players and too safe for very high level players. A low-mid level survivor might last 45s - 1min in a chase where a high level player can reliably run killers for entire games. Something needs to be changed or implemented to bridge that gap some.

I think over time the nurse problem is just going to get worse as the game ages. Once all the god pallets, flashlights and teabagging you go through as a normal killer drives you to play nurse why would you go back to that. I think more and more killers are either reaching that point or leaving.

They need to give all hooks the pyramid head treatment and just make the hook move if the killer is patrolling near it too long. I think the game should calculate survivor MMR after a match has fully completed. Then give MMR to the whole team based on how many of the team escaped.

There aren't enough killers playing especially in the afternoon so sometimes the system will just throw you in with whoever. MMR would be fine if the game wasn't dogshit at high level.

It has a hard skillcheck because devs make game design decisions completely arbitrarily. I would consider myself fairly killer biased but I see no reason why DS needs a skillcheck. Yep the plentiful resources and 2nd chances for survivors combined with constant communication makes for an extremely easy game for SWFs.

Actually Aryun and a couple other survivors have done large escape streaks. Players like marth88 and dowsey have also done SWF vids where they go tons of games using minimal perks almost never losing a man. That type of content isn't posted as much because survivor is the easiest competitive role ever made :)

It's a bit of a relic from way back in the day when there weren't nearly as many killers and cosmetics weren't as plentiful.

After 6 years BHVR has not managed to break the meta of max slowdown and max second chance perks. This isn't the only reason, but it gets very old feeling like I'm throwing if I'm not running 4 regression perks or DS/DH/UB/COH. It's ridiculous how long the survivor perks in particular have held the meta.

This game wasn't designed with SWF at launch. It's in the game now and it isn't going anywhere. You either bring solo close to SWF and balance around that or you leave the game a mess.

Balancing twins because of her killrate at high MMR is one area I kind of agreed with the devs at. Now I don't want people to read that as I don't think twins need QoL improvements. Because they do. Just that I would hope that we would see a lot more changes aimed at higher skill brackets of the game for both sides.

Yep pretty much agree against any team that doesn't have at least 1 or 2 easy targets it's GG. I love piggy but I've just switched to nurse and other more rewarding killers.

For an example of how this pans out look at Overwatch. It launched with the ability to block opposing players and it ended up with certain high level players having near eternal queue times.

Nurse has been S tier since her inception in the game. I suppose she has been changed but she's never come close to being unseated as the best killer in the game.

I think what's happening is that as strong as some of these new perks are they simply aren't good enough to unseat the meta champs. They shouldn't be either. The top end power perks really need toned down

I'd say it's a combination of resident evil being mega popular and nemi being braindead easy to play. I use nemi when I'm stoned and want easy wins.

Nemesis is both a part of and victim of the game's problems at the moment. As the game currently is nurse is one of the few killers that have an appropriate ratio of skill:power. She's very strong but use her poorly and you'll fail miserably, use her well and you almost never lose. I'd like to see some form of cosmetic reward. The BP are cool and I think they should stay but it'd be neat to have an indicator like devotion to indicate how many times you've hit rank one. Maybe give different borders or something on the end screen.

If you are just playing for strength then killers would be LF, hag(free on some platforms), blight, plague, clown, artist, pinhead would get you the majority of meta killer perks.
