"Entity, your god has arrived. I bring the destruction of the realms!"
-
I was a huge Metal Gear Solid fan back in the day, so it would be crazy if you were able to survive as Snake while getting chased by Volgin as the Man on Fire from the 5th game. That version of Volgin actually fits the horror vibe really well funnily enough
-
Dead Space
-
A necromorph from Dead Space
-
Snake from Metal Gear Solid as a survivor, with Volgin from the 5th MGS game as killer
-
Since the devs have called DBD the "hall of fame of horror", then they'd make a chapter based off the first Terminator movie(the only movie in the franchise that's considered horror.) Also because they tend to go for the original source material. So it will be a T-800 and Sarah Connor from T1.
-
It would absolutely work without question. Issac Clarke survivor + Ubermorph or Regenerator Necromorph. I strongly believe we will be getting this license in DBD 100%
-
Alma Wade from the F.E.A.R. games. Great game series back in the day
-
Ancient Egypt with the pyramids
-
A T-800 can kinda get away with being in the game since many people consider the first movie to be horror/action. Can't say the same for a T-1000 that comes from a pure action film(T2)
-
Dead Space with Isaac Clarke and a necromorph killer(Ubermorph/regenerator) or Slenderman with a new Red Forest map variation. Hard to choose
-
The historical Vlad is already in one of the tome cutscenes
-
I just want to see what they would do with an ubermorph or a regenerator killer. And the Ishimura map would be amazing.
-
Always excited for licensed content
-
Yeah I agree, and it sucks that some are just not fair in that regard.
-
Not necessarily. It should be the same for both sides
-
I'm sorry to hear that bro. It's best just not to take what they say seriously, and simply not give them any attention cuz people can get salty over anything.
-
I've watched all the original movies. And I never said the remake had a better actor. All I said was that the remake's actor did a great job of portraying a sinister Freddy. I'm sorry if you're offended that not everyone shares the same opinion as you.
-
It is my opinion hence the 'imo'. The original Freddy is good, but remake Freddy is just a lot darker and more sadistic. His actor did a wonderful job and I don't want him to be replaced.
-
I would love for it to be Dead Space seeing as how there is a remake of the original 2008 game coming out later this year.
-
Hopefully never. Maybe just as a skin for the OG fans, but definitely not as a replacement. I feel like the remake is underrated and that Jackie Earle Haley's portrayal of a more vile and evil Freddy was perfect. He just fits the tone of DBD better imo
-
1)The Necromorph from Dead Space 2)Alma Wade from F.E.A.R. 3)The Servant Grunt from Amnesia 4)Chris Walker from Outlast 5)Big Daddy from Bioshock
-
Other than the most popular ones like Nemesis, Ustanak is one of my favs even if the game that he came from wasn't well recieved by some. Dudes quite scary
-
Lol that's definitely me. Take this vote up
-
Maybe, just maybe if the chapter was based solely off the first movie since that is the one a lot of people consider to be a horror film. Other than that, no I don't think any non-horror characters/licenses should be introduced. DBD wouldn't be the "hall of fame of horror" at that point
-
No, I think this game should stay as the "hall of fame of horror".
-
Lisa, but idk if voting for Cheryl would count for her
-
I would love a Dead Space chapter. I'm sure they can make a Necromorph Slasher killer work well, and Isaac as a survivor would be pretty nice too. Dead Space is a "hall of fame of horror" worthy addition. Some people have an issue with EA, but they also did with Konami(Silent Hill) so that won't be a deterrent obviously.
-
The Necromorph from Dead Space
-
I have the sudden urge to chant Goldberg
-
Nah, don't touch Nemesis
-
This is pretty good. Thought this concept was going to be about the wrestler who gives out tombstone piledrivers lol. But this standard undertaker sounds like it would be a great fit in DBD.
-
Holy mismatch
-
And you're presenting a false equivalence. The real life creator of Slenderman was not a bad man nor did bad things. Will not get notoriety and traction from his creation being in the game unlike Jeepers Creepers and Salva. I gave this example before but if someone does something bad in the name of Superman, DC ain't the…
-
I'll stick to asking the large chunk of people constantly upvoting/liking his concepts. Have a good one
-
Oh please, that's definitely not what the general public thinks when they hear Slenderman's name. Most never even heard of the stabbing. The public would be more inclined to remember him from a meme or gameplay from their fav youtubers.
-
Nope, I don't see it. It's just a bit ridiculous that he's used as a punishable scapegoat for it though.
-
And the Freddy incident happened just 10 years before the Slenderman one(where no one was actually killed contrary to the former). That's not a very big time gap in the long scheme of things considering the NOES remake was made just 6 years after. Because Jeepers Creepers was created by a real life person who did…
-
If they did, they still would've done it anyway. Not profiting from a franchise that big for something that wasn't their fault? Not a chance
-
Same thing can be said about the Freddy and Ghostface incidents. Just because a minority fails to grasp the fact that a fictional character realistically has nothing to do with it, doesn't mean the entire character/fanbase should be punished for it. It's backwards
-
The fictional character caused nothing. They used him as a scapegoat. By that logic, Freddy Krueger and Ghostface also caused murders and thus should not be in the game. Look up Daniel Gonzales the "Freddy Krueger" killer.
-
This game would've been dead a long time ago without licensed characters, I guarantee you that.
-
Sure, the bat staggered Demo as it would most creatures who aren't made of metal. If you hit a grizzly bear in the face it's going to back up a little, but you're still not leaving that situation alive. You'll get ripped apart a second later.
-
Imagine having no terror radius, and all of a sudden you see a possessed Regan spiderwalking at you from around the corner
-
Demo shrugs off bullets, so a harpoon will do nothing to him. Then, Slinger is going to get mauled
-
I wish they did more licenses
-
Done that long ago. Still find your viewpoint bunkum. You're blaming a fictional character for an irl tragedy. You bring up his lore, yet no where does it say that you must stab your real life friend in the name of Slenderman. What's next? Someone kidnapping kids in the name of Krampus and an attempt from you to cancel the…
-
"Rightfully so" lol. It's the character's fault for what happened to that kid? If someone commits a crime in the name of Superman or Elmo, should we drop those beloved characters too?
-
It's probably Pinhead
-
I would want to think it's high. We need some Alien and/or Dead Space in the game.
