My logic still stands.

Slugging is important when there's 4 survivors and only one killer. Gen speeds these days make slugging a must for killers to keep up, otherwise they'll just have to tunnel survivors one by one until he kills everyone or the survivors finish the gens. Saying there isn't any play when you're slugged is a bad oversight since…
-
If every survivor had your opinion, DS would be next on the chopping block.
-
That's funny because it doesn't even apply anymore since the ruin rework.
-
If you go in the catagories section on this forum, you'll see a discussion on the rules of DBD. That would be a good place to check over.
-
New players shouldn't even have access to corrupt intervention because it comes from the plague who is a DLC character. You said it yourself, "New players don't study every characters perks right off the top of the bat." so new killers wont have it equiped. It shouldn't and normally isn't a problem for new survior players.…

You're right, and I think it's a major design flaw with this game. If a killer doesn't get a 4K, he may see it as a loss, which is what I feel all the time. But a 4K game is supposed to be perfect outcome, there's no middle ground that a killer will be happy with otherwise. Because the developers are trying to balance the…

Interestingly enough, Freddy is the only one that I have tried out, and 2 of the 4 people I played against instantly gave up. I found it quite fun to play him otherwise, and you can't tell if a character is strong or weak if you can't equip perks on them. Let's be honest here, Bubba needs a buff. Nobody likes to play him…

If you think trapper is good now, just wait until the chapter update comes out and they disable the ability for survivors to disable bear traps :D It really does suck that the shards don't work properly right now. There's a lot of people who have less than 200 hours in the game (Im assuming after that is when people decide…
-
Arma 3 is an example that lets you test DLCs. Not everyone plays DBD on PC to have access to the PTB. I have no idea what you mean by "plenty of ways", other than shards which are going down the drain here pretty soon. At least refund my bloodpoints.
-
There should be a link at the top to the chapter update notes. If you scroll down to the bottom of the patch notes, you'll see that they're removing splinters. Not sure if they are talking about only the freddy splinters, or all splinters.
-
Ouch. That's funny because I wrote this post with the mindset that somebody was gonna say "Dude, just buy the DLC, cheap bastard" ect.
-
I like the idea that we have to buy our items from the bloodweb. I think we should keep that intact. Instead, maybe we can increase the reward for the second sacrifice to be the biggest bloodpoint reward. The first sacrifice would be half of the reward for the second one, the third one would be half of the second one as…
-
What!? You're telling me that it's overpowered for me to demo a killer before I decide to spend my money on it? What does me deciding if a killer is fun enough to play have to do with my decision to spend money on it and it being "overpowered"? Me trying out a killer for the first time without their perks is not anymore…
-
That's extremely overpowered in favor for the survivor. It's unfair enough to have such a quick sabo speed along with no mither and unbreakable to hard counter slugging. That first statement was true before the sabo buff. Now it's the completw opposite. Survivors can now disable hooks "On the Fly" when they need to,…
-
I was thinking the exact same thing. It would give the game a more 'progression' feeling to it, kinda like some of the custom infected game modes in halo games where the survivors are progressing into new areas. They could add a narrative aspect to it like in Left For Dead, where every stage is a step closer to their final…
-
We all could take advice from you. That's the mindset I try to play with, and wished everyone else had the same.
-
This is sarcasm right?
-
I know a lot of people are commenting that he is balanced and the post author should just get good, but there might be some truth to this post. The first time I got to play freddy was yesterday. I had one of those shards that let you play as a license killer. First thing that happens in the match is someone DC's. Next…

Its a real shame that BHVR doesn't release server data when it comes to this stuff.

A list of words that you still need to learn the definition of. I've noticed that you use of these words inadequately a lot. 1. Entitled 2. Toxic 3. Complain(ing) This list will continue to update as I see fit.
-
Those weren't my words and I'm not gonna argue with a keyboard warrior who accuses me of complaining when I was the one calling you out in the first place. Never met someone so dumb and inmature in my life at this point. That was exactly you being toxic.
-
That graph doesn't really say much when it's hand drawn.
-
Now that, is a shining example of Toxicity. If you've ever wondered what it actually is, look at this specifically.
-
"All your posts have been nothing but attack survivors, and yes you've attacked me as well. Your pathetic for even trying to call me out on that." Yeah, because it pisses me off to see little entitled survivors like you run around the forums and push your bs around. Your last reply didn't address any of my previous points…
-
Doesn't DBD run on dedicated servers now?
-
That makes a lot more sense. Thanks for the info.
-
I don't know where you're getting those figures from, but all I know is I earn at most 30k for playing doc because I run distressing on him, about 20k for any other killer. Playing as survivor, I'll get a bit less than 20k everytime. Killers do get more bloodpoints, but I haven't seen THAT massive of a difference.
-
In fact, here's a whole post dedicated to showing how stupid your "Camping and Tunneling are toxic" argument is. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/125959/when-is-tunneling-ok#latest
-
"I've played killer PLENTY. You assuming I haven't shows just how bad you are." Well, there's no argument here anymore. All I see are personal attacks at this point, instead of any attempt to diswade my previous points. It almost hard to believe that you play killer at all, considering how idiotic your reply is. But what…
-
Well, I pretty much saw this coming to be honest. Guess I have to tell you the same thing I've told every other entitled survivor. If.. You're.. Being.. Camped.. Then Stop Being Selfish and only considering your experience as a survivor. The killer is making the decision to waste time watching you. Have everyone else…

Yes, the game is in a very fragile state right now. Actually, it's always been in that state because it's a asymmetric multiplayer game. But it's not wise to gut the game completely and change the core gameplay mechanics. If you believe all of the nerfs and reworks are bad, just imagine how much changing the core gameplay…
-
All of these changes would massively change the game. I wouldn't implement any of these in DBD, I would make a sequel to DBD and include these changes instead. Some people like the core gameplay that's in DBD right now, so I wouldn't take that away from them.
-
I wasn't actually protesting against those perks. In actuality, I was being a little exaggerative by pretending to be entitled in a mocking sense of this post. I mentioned those perks because those are the ones that get complained about the most. Apologies for the misunderstanding, so let me clarify a bit. Those perks suck…
-
That's the best thing you can do. Either that or be the better man/woman and move on.
-
1. Having a killer camp you at the hook and throwing the queen across the room are not the same. Camping a hook or tunneling a survivor and putting a queen to the side are the same. The only exception to this is if the killer is camping/tunneling you specifically to target you. 2. Throwing a queen across the room and…
-
It's a competitive game. Why would you, by your definition of 'respect', respect your opponent? You wouldn't let your opponent win in a game of chess by 'respecting' their queen. Killer should be allowed to use any tatic he wishes to win the game. "You guys choose to use tactics that are just pure scummy, dirty, and kill…
-
They're both legit tatics.
-
And so is Dead Hard, Borrowed Time, and Decisive Strike. Lets get rid of those too. Try Calm Spirit and drop pallets early instead of waiting at them; you wouldn't have to complain on the forums then.
-
I see your concern for Toxicity in the community; people get pissed all the time at me all the time when I play killer, but we shouldn't police people for taunting ingame, that just makes the situation worse. I guarantee you I would stop playing the game if BHVR had to come in and started acting like a baby sitter for the…
-
Interesting. It could be that I haven't been running my addons that I used before. I'll have to work on it.
-
I'm talking about the delay between using shock therapy and having it land on survivors, not the delay between a shock therapy and another action. Before the mid chapter update, I was landing shock therapys just before a survivor hits a vault, pallet, ect. Now that the rework has come out, chases have been a lot harder.…
-
No, it doesn't. It's another low - mid tier perk suggestion really. And you would see a totem before it's terror radius effect would kick in, by my version of it at least. You don't want killer perks synergizing with survivor perks. I have another idea, forget the terror radius. What about doubling the time it takes to…
-
Yeah, I think 32 away from a hex totem is way to big of a number. I think it should be, like 2 meters away, or basically right in front of the thing. It would have the same intensity as being 32 meters from the killer. Diversion wouldn't be too great, because you could achive the same effect by just cleasing the totem. And…
-
I mean, if we could close the gate ourselves, why not let us break generators that were already completed? It seems too OP at that point, but I agree with the fact that survivors like to camp out too long by the exit gates. Most of the time, it's to increase the amount of bloodpoints they earn from the match. Edit: Ohh,…
-
Wow, I didn't realize the synergy it had with other survivor perks. This puts the concept in a bad light, because it doesn't make sense to give survivors a perk that puts a terror radius on totems. And no killer would run it because of the fact that survivors could take advantage of it. I mean, we do have dark devotion…
-
That's a weird outlook. It seems the perk would put you at a disadvantage no?
-
Amen to this...
-
I'm imagining that new killer players, or vet players who have a lot of confidence that they only need three decent perks to kill most of the survivors would run it. It definitely would not be meta, mostly just an extra perk that some take along for the lack of a better perk.
-
This meme is needed at another post. It's called 'Make BBQ a Hex'. Welcome to the forums. I'm assuming you're new? Or returning at least...
