How (and WHY) to balance slowdown perks (extremely easy to code and implement solution)
Why do we need to balance slowdown perks? Because game is balanced around having them, but some killers are trash tier while others are stupidly broken. PainRez Pop have big impact on killer like Freddy (they need all the help they can get), but on Nurse or Blight the very same perk means you have no chance as a survivor…

Potential Energy exploit has potential to be a cool basekit mechanic.
Before throwing tantrum, read the WHOLE post, pleast. Let's get this out of the way: Potential Energy exploit needs to be fixed. Saving 20 seconds on every generator without using up toolbox charges (and not even counting great skillchecks) is ridiculous and needs to be removed ASAP. However now that I actually know how…

Pharmacy has no effect on current patch (Perk works, it was my mistake)
Edit: Okay I am an idiot. I didn't notice it was changed to only work when injured. In all honesty - I am not sure if I was injured or not, but most likely not. My fault. Perk literally has no effect now. I had it on, opened chest (it took normal amount of time and was loud) and there was a toolbox inside. I opened next…

Glyphs should be added into pool of daily rituals
This is very subjective... but completing glyph challanges is actually my favourite thing in this game (after 3k hours). Playing killer is a joke currently, while sweating as survivor is boring. I do love this side objective, how they wary and reitroduce small mechanics. Edit: Not to mention that doing a glyph challange…

Hillbilly - How to reduce his camping potential, but make him more fun in chases
Edit: Otzdarva proposed even simplier solution. When Hillbilly hits survivor during unhooking animation the chainsaw instantly overheats so it's impossible to get 2 downs on healthy survivors while camping. Maybe it's better than my ideas? -------------------------------------------- Intro: Hillbilly nerf was the most…

Should we reintroduce stacks to Barbecue & Chilli to oncourage switching targerts
Before voting, hear me out. Also I would appreciate if only people who actually play both sides voted on this one. I don't really find the opinions of any kind of 'mains' to be valid in game which experience is so different from match to match and depending on the side you are on. When BBQ had it's stacks, it was a real,…

Thanatophobia's design is bad rn, here's a sidegrade to it:
First part is explanation of how current Thana affects matches. If you want to get straight into proposed changes, please check the part 2 (below). ----- Thanatophobia has been changed many times over the years, however I believe this perk current iteration is literally the worst it has ever been. For a while it simply had…

Corrective action buff
Corrective action is one of these perks which are awesome on paper... but in reality everytime I use it I run around with 5 tokens (even on builds when I combine it with proove thyself and better together). I still love perks that reward hitting great skillchecks (it really pushes people to try and be actually good/risky…

Best music is back
Menu music in the current patch is exactly the music that played when I first launched the game... And since then I don't think there was a better one (even Hillbilly theme is not as good). Trippy, scary and has this THING in it. I love it, thank you for putting it back on <3. Returning after almost a year might be an idea…

Buff to Remember me
If you are new to the game or don't play both sides to the point of reaching r1 at least once on both, please, do not comment or vote. So Remember me has been a very bad perk for a long time now. There is literally no scenario where it would be better than No Way Out (seriously, there are no games where the killer doesn't…

For as long as Dredge glows during Nightfall... nightfall will be useless
Just like the title. He still glows, he still can't surprise anyone (especially with his loud as ambient noises)
-
Devs, good job.
Seriously, I agree with majority of changes. I like that you are shaking up the meta, buffing useless perks and nerfing the top tier ones. The only thing I strongly disagree is Spine Chill. It was broken (I always run SC), but taking away BOTH early alert and vault speed makes this perk literally useless. Deah Hard and…

Turn Hillbilly's 'when overheated' addons into 'old cooldown' addons
Please do not vote unless you read the whole post. Please do not vote if you do not play both sides long enough to play against decent opponnets. Hillbilly was unjustly nerfed and he is never coming back. The main reason why he was nerfed though, was his Carburettor Tuning Guide and The Thompson's Mix addons. To be honest,…

Dissolution should not announce itself to survivors
As simple as that. I see the dissolution is active so I won't vault the pallet. If I get hit or downed... Ok, I would have got hit anyway if I destroyed the thrown pallet anyway. Most of the times I just loop windows or force pallet break on killer though. Good perk, but held back by giving amount of information.
-
Actually balanced and usefull rework of Buckle Up
If you don't know what the perk does, haven't been to r1 at least once as both sides or are very new to the game in general, please, don't waste your and other's time and just don't respond. Thank you. Buckle up - a perk that is so bad it's actually sad rather than being straight up funny. I think the WGLFE heal boost…

Quality of Life update to archive challanges.
Do you remember the the 'Pop 4 gens while using Dark Sense in a single trial.'? This is about such challanges. Sometimes the challange is so obscure, hard or it simply promotes throwing that it becomes nothing more than source of frustrations. I present to you the super simple fix to archives that solves basically…

Putting old Hangman's Trick onto a Scourge Hooks ("New" perk idea)
Hangman's Trick used to make the hooks come back after short time when destroyed in the sacrifice process. I think this would make for an interesting perk I would actually use to prevent hook dead zones (which is a thing on couple of maps, including the newest one). It could either be replaced by the Hangman's Trick (as…
-
Buff unrelenting (Bandaid perk proposition)
Okay devs, instead of adressing the game issues seriously, in your typical manner you just give out bandaid perks (yes, talking about shattered hope)... You know what? Fine, we got used to this. Why don't we agree that dead hard is an issue and answer with another bandaid? Very simple to make too! Simply buff unrelenting…

Dredge is surprisingly fun and balanced. Needs one fix though
All major issues from ptb have been fixed and Dredge is actually fun to play and go against. He is quite strong when used in smart way, but also can be countered (and it's not super hard either) if you play smart as survivor. I really like it. The thing I dislike though is fact that even during nightfall, survivors can see…
-
New menu looks worse.
Just like with HUD, the older one looked simply better, cleaner and more original. Now it's exactly like in any other random generic game. Sad
-
Last survivor should be allowed to try and kobe if it's his first hook.
Just like in the title^. This is rare, as I think that survivors have it waaay to easy in this game considering everything... but this little thing simply makes no sense to me... especially that we have 3 perks affecting self-unhooking chances, offerings and other things that could actually result in escape. I do…
-
Random thing
Temple of purgation. No hook offerings. 6 hooks in total (Not counting basement). On one of the biggest maps. I literally couldn't hook a guy who run into the corner with Agitation on and noone saboing. This shouldn't even be possible. No wonder survivor q is long :). Every time I try to come back, game immediately reminds…

How to counter stereotypical 'trash killer' (Noed, camping and efficient play aka tunneling)
Edit: I think many people missed the point of this thread completely. Wheter the tunnel, camp, noed and other stuff is healthy, unhealthy balanced, tryhardy on unfun is not the point here. Game is how it is right now. The point is for people to know what to bring and what to do against killers which they dislike to the…
-
Monstrous Shrine should become a Scourge Hook perk.
Current Monstrous Shrine does literally nothing. It's penalty to luck is multiplicative and almost non existant... and it's penalty for failed unhooking attempts is literally NON EXISTANT. Without MS a survivor can attempt to unhook themselves 3 times... with MS it is still 3 attempts... New Monstrous Shrine: Your fervent…

Rift fragments should translate into Iridescent shards after reaching 70 tier
Just like in the title, it doesn't have to be anything crazy, maybe 5 shards per fragment or something, so people who already finished the rift don't feel like they are 'missing out' on the event rewards. Maybe even a small counter to show how much 'above the program shards' you farmed or something? Just a small 'feels…

Are boon mechanics broken or unfair?
Boons: Can be ignited infinite amounts of times, as boon totem simply turns into dull when snuffed out. Literally one perk slot out of survivor pool of 16 per trial can affect the whole team. Each boon effect is very powerful right now. ShadowStep is my favourite, but people tend to underrate it. Circle of Healing is…

Stuck for eternitiy spot on RPD
I don't know how she got there, but I found her stuck on this pile of something as a healthy survivor. Even getting damaged or downed didn't get her unstuck. Killer can not pickup survivor in this spot. Edit: It is caused by snowmen as they are able to walk into those spots and the pop open with shift or killer attack.…
-
Plague should be able to infect snowmen
Plague can not infect snowmen, which makes them the only interactable object that can't be infected. I think she should be able to inftect those, especially that her purges do work when the survivor is inside (for example Corrupt Purge will pop the snowman with survivor inside, but don't do anything to empty snowman).
-
Flashlight click penalty
I came up with this during one of the discussions as one guy brought up flashlight clickers as a toxic thing. I stopped caring about tbags or clicks quite some time ago, but due to nature of the game and often situations where one side just have it easy and other literally has nothing to work with (3 strong tiles connected…
-
Bone Chill
Okay, this event is something. Things you can do with the snowmen - not efficient, effective or broken... but really, really fun! Also the cosmetics we can grind are cherry on top - ony of the best events in the game so far, the prop hunt flavour is really fun and trying to actually reach exit gate in the snowman is a…
-
Hitting survivor on the hook penalty
So I made a poll about flashlight clickers, here's the opposite. To be honest, hitting a survivor on the hook is actually pretty bad idea already, because even without Kindred the survivors will know you camp and can just rush gens... or you give them free window for an unhook... so discouraging this actually benefits the…

Is Grim Embrace good and worth a perk slot?
Simple question. Please, do not vote if you never played with/against it or are rather new to the game. If you pick Other, please write what do you actually think about it.
-
Thanatophobia affects cleansing speed so should affect blessing speed as well.
Just like in the title, especially that boons are broken at the moment anyway. Makes no sense to bless faster than cleanse, especially that blessing is always better (except it's a hex totem).
-
Grabs don't work 99% of times
Was there some kind of change to the grab mechanic I am not aware of? I literally sneaked up on a survivor who obviously not noticed me and just sat on gen and I made sure to not lunge - just a single tap. Nope, it's still a swing for some reason. Tried it multiple times due to meme killer games I had mood for... Imma be…
-
Do you fing Deathslinger playable after his nerf?
Honest question
-
Last second switching
So killer is locked in lobby, but survivors can freerly last second switch into whatever already preprepared character they had with map offering and strong item... and do it as a team... Okaaaay... very fair... Survivors should be locked after clicking ready or after 30s mark so they can't equip items or switch into other…

Are self-recovery perks overtuned right now?
While I don't have any problems with Soulguard, No mither, Tenacity or Flip Flop (Seriously, those are fun perks to see, even as killer (maybe I'm weird though)). The problematic ones are UnbreakaBill and Hex: UnbreabaBill (Unbreakable and Boon:Exponential) Their recovery bonus is simply too big. Unbreakable allows for a…
-
Scourge Hooks - Great, creative idea, but execution is poor
I love the idea behind these perks, but there is one core issue with them: They spawn randomly. Killer can literally get no use out of these perks, just because game decided so. Sabo is other story (actually cool interaction). Second problem is... both Scourge Hook perks killers have avaible now are not that strong anyway!…

Newest map, main building and it's god pallet
Okay, this god pallet is insanely strong. It is a quite big square loop where you can jump off the edge at literally any point for a balanced landing play or keep going around and not throw this god pallet. It is insanely strong and unless it's not Spirit/Nurse/Hag/Trapper/Huntress, Deathslinger or Artist the amoung of…

For the People and Renewal (Second Wind) should synergize
Renewal: After healing other survivor for full health state it activates and next time you are removed from the hook you get broken for 20 seconds. If you don't go down you get healed. For the People: During a healing of other survivor press active ability button to instantly heal them a full health state and get injured…

Enduring does not help with pallet save stuns... why?
I just noticed it while watching one of the videos. Guy had enduring, got smashed with the pallet after picking up a survivor and boom, full stun duration. Enduring should help with every stun in game... but no, it has been limited to just pallet stuns... Not fair or balanced at all, but sure, have it your way... At least…

Idea for new perk. Boon:Boosted
For all the boosted survivor mains, I present Boon:Boosted. Bless a totem, blah blah blah. When within the range of the totem and for 2/3/4 seconds after leaving it you run at 3/4/5% faster speed. Does not affect walking. I think it's rather obvious idea for a perk I actually proposed for killers (unlimited range) years…
-
Am I the only one who dislikes removal of perk tiers?
While it is a good thing in general, there are certain perks that actually can benefit the player while being lower tier than 3. Example: Whispers 2 on Pig (You hear whispers and then you crouch - survivors don't hear you. Now you will need both Whispers and Monitor and Abuse (which is useless on Pig) to do this) Mettle of…

Iron will is stronger than intended due to poor coding
Very simple. When survivor is healthy, they make breathing sounds. When they are injured, they do grunt in pain. Iron will removes grunts of pain, but injured survivors don't breath so they are literally silent. I do think it's silly and super strong. Just make a code that makes injured survivors with iron will breathe…
-
DeathSlinger is surprisingly unfun to play as
This is subjective... obviously... Slinger feels like I don't make any plays, rather survivors making huge misplays, opposed to Huntress or Billy where I actually feel that I made a good read and a good play with a curve or fake. I rarely play DeathSlinger and actually didn't touch him after the nerf. Now I got daily and I…

Cool survivor perks that need some love
There are some survivor perks that have amazing theme and general idea behind them is either fun, cool or simply very fitting into the game's theme and lore. Red Herring: Distraction's younger, useless brother. Idea to stealth and deceive instead of brainlessly loop for one millionth time or abuse ds+unbreakable is cool.…
-
Thrill of The Hunt nerfed? Why?!
I just noticed that ToTH no longer gives killers notifications when hex totem is touched... Excuse me, what the hell? It was literally the only reason small amount of players who actually run it, used it. Just why? This perk is very weak anyway and I don't see a single reason to remove the only actually useful aspect of…

"Blessing" action does not cancel Decisive Strike... and it should
I noticed that there is no saying about blessing in desription of DS... tested it in game and voila, you can totally force DS hit with it. Well... if survivor is no longer tunneled when they have time to heal, repair, sabo or cleanse... they are being tunneled when they do find time to bless? Yet another way to force DS. I…

Resurgence needs a tiny buff.
I am very rarely into buffing survivor kit, but... Resurgence does need it and here's why: There is literally one scenario when running four Resurgences would be more beneficial than running four We'll make its - getting chased of the hook for 90+ seconds and then being able to heal... Let's be honest, if killer wasted 90+…
