We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

This is what happens when killers are very oppressive or annoying to play against. Sadako used to be absolutely atrocious to deal with and was almost impossible to prevent getting full condemn rather fast with certain add-ons. It's similar to what they've done to skull merchant.
-
oh yes i remember a week or so ago when otz released his magical unhook yourself and heal build. Was kind of annoying to deal with so i had to put on franklins.
-
are the stairs narrow enough to body block on fully?
-
It is very stale seeing the same perks over and over again, it's like seeing the same map or killer constantly. Variation makes the game more fun in general. The issue is even if the meta perks were nerfed or changed other perks would take their spot and be the new meta.
-
This is basically nerfs to some lesser used perks and over buffs or weird changes to others.
-
I think it's funny because i always have like 25-50 on survivor but survivor que is like 2 mins and killer is instant.
-
True, The ones listed though synergize with other perks somewhat well. There's plenty of perks that are utterly useless on both sides. They seem to have been doing passes on the lesser perks as of recent with predator buff for killer and corrective action buff for survivor.
-
People do, he has very high snowball potential but there are stronger killers in general that don't require a slow early game.
-
Those are pretty niche perks, they can be good if used in combo with other perks. For instance, Open-Handed with Wiretap or kindred is really good information. Up the Ante with slippery meat and a luck offering gives you a very high chance to unhook yourself, and if you pair it with resurgence + medkit you can unhook…
-
There will always be lesser desired perks. Most perks have a niche or synergize with others. Problem with the meta is it's hard to say not to run a specific perk like say windows or an exhaust perk when they help way too much. Perks have been buffed but they still won't be used over the meta because they don't provide…
-
there's no map where that's necessary anymore though so i don't see that as a reason.
-
I play killer most of the time probably 90% and i know what you're saying. With that said i think slugging is unnecessary a lot of the time and if someone bleeds out for 1/3 of their bar in one down it seems a bit excessive.
-
I think it's just supposed to be a status symbol of you did the pass instead of just bought a cosmetic. Different colors matching tome theme would be pretty nice though people wouldn't be happy because Fomo. I think the reason they did the Deep rift outfits was to specifically give people who played at that time a reward…
-
Why? Does it actually matter that much to you if they were SWF? I mean if you're gonna come at me passive aggressively maybe learn to play better.
-
85 or 86. Only really played at the beginning, for the 2v8, for dracula chapter, for lights out, and a couple days recently to get all the rewards.
-
I mean your first like 3 dcs are super short, you gotta be rage quitting or something to rack up a 6 hour penalty. I don't think i've ever had longer than a 5 minute dc penalty ever.
-
typically just a display of dominance i guess. Some killers force bleedouts because they're being toxic or tilted by stuff that happened.
-
i think 2 recoveries would be fine at most in a game which is why i said every third of bleedout timer. That's already a good chunk of time on the floor. Alternatively x amount of time on the ground similar to the anti-facecamp mechanic.
-
perhaps a free recover after one third of bleeding out or a set amount of time on the ground?
-
Any 110% is going to be average at best for new players. Also doctor, legion, and bubba are pretty easy to learn killers, wesker is probably a tier or 2 too high. I wouldn't put nurse in the bottom tier, probably complicated as if you learn her you'll just win. Blight also would probably be in the complicated tier.
-
How do you know it was a 4-man SWF? I rarely see 4-mans usually 2-3 leaning more towards 2. If you want to play as killer and guarantee you do well you need to run certain perks and killers. Running someone like trapper or legion will probably not go great if the survivors are bringing their A game.
-
She is still a zoning killer but maybe the worst now. Still drops her drone to try to zone off an area but it's not really effective now. That's the ability basically. You want people scanned/trapped and to shorten loops/zone off areas. It's not good i agree, but neither was the old playstyle off 3-4 genning with drone…
-
They are pretty survivor sided. Eyrie is pretty big with some bad loops depending on killer, Garden of joy is arguably the most survivor sided map in the game, and autohaven is pretty bad with the tall walls. I don't have an issue usually with these but i don't want to see them 10+ times in a row.
-
I mean she's going to be extremely useless after these changes, you probably won't see anyone playing skull merchant. She's a zoning killer with chase pressure. It's not super different than trapper or hag trapping a loop or something to counter it.
-
I mean you're going to deal with pc player either way, i mean probably 90% of my games have 2 or more players who aren't on steam so high chance they're console players. I don't really get where this cheaters running rampant thing is coming from either, they really are not that common. I've seen maybe 10 in 3700 hours.
-
I mean you obviously haven't had little rat survivors running into upstairs rooms while running boil over before these hooks were added.
-
you know the last chapter was taken from a show/game right? It's not taken from the traditional dracula stories.
-
That just sounds like dstrike in item form.
-
I have definitely noticed a lot more survivors burning map offerings, notably: eyrie, autohaven, and withered isle. I usually only burn bp offerings as i have a lot of anniversary cakes. I don't really mind map offerings till it's the same ones over and over. I think i played about 15 games the other night and probably…
-
You're not gonna get a decent zone control killer that won't also garner DCs. There's only trapper and hag that are zone control killers and skull merchants power design is stronger than both giving a lot of good things like haste, hindering survivors, free injures, intel. Her only weakness is if people play the drone game…
-
I think there's a few reasons but I don't think it's a perk issue mainly. i think specific killers, notably Skull merchant, Nurse, Blight, etc. No one wants to play an uphill battle or against something extremely annoying. I also think another big factor is people being very tilted from previous games or just don't like…
-
Twins is probably the worst for me. I rarely see them but when i do they all typically play the same, just slugging with victor. On top of that most people see them so rarely they don't know how to play against them. I could probably count on one hand how many times i've played against twins in the past year and all have…
-
i mean to be fair she's pretty oppressive if people aren't doing the drone minigame. I don't really think there's an easy way to balance a zoning killer though. They either have some oppressive nature like hags basement camping ability from anywhere, or just aren't super great like trapper.
-
I don't really care if people burn map offerings but it's always autohaven, withered isle, ormond, or eyrie offerings when i'm playing killer. Very little variation from those 4. In my past 20 or so games i see a map offering for one of those about 70-80% of the time, actually was debating on burning sacrificial wards.
-
what about them? People don't like playing against her so they're nerfing her into the ground.
-
isn't that the point of random perks though?
-
who really knows, they seem to tip-toe around this bloodpoint bonuses thing. Similar to why they removed it from were gonna live forever/bbq&c. Then they change the incentive modifier now but then do bloodhunts that give 300-400% bloodpoints and anniversary event that gives a ton of cakes. More surprised they're keeping…
-
There's not really a good way to go about changing her without making her really weak or really annoying the play against. It's just a flaw with her power and design, any zoning killer will be awful to play against or be absolute trash. I mean look at hag and trapper, trapper is weak and hag is just annoying and can camp…
-
maps can only have a certain amount of pallets, also maps can have extremely poor random generation at times that leaves 1/3 the map a deadzone but makes pallets spawn other places like crazy.
-
Toxicity is a product of the game loop of the game. You are constantly needing to focus and having an opposing force that you sometimes are powerless to. No one likes losing and this game is pretty bad with that. I will say a big issue for new players is learning to loop or to play killer effectively. I've seen multiple…
-
I mean you only really need 1 survivor you main to invest points into and others either p1 or p3 depending if you want perks for all or just for your one survivor. It would only really start to help for challenges or if you wanted to play a different survivor who has nothing. Killers offering sharing would be pretty strong…
-
To put it short i feel like my killer games are against people who can play and my survivor games are with people who don't know how to play well.
-
i don't know if they count ties at all so you almost never lose if you get 2k.
-
I know they announced adjusting prices because of cross-play, though I think steam also adjusts prices depending on region which is probably the reason.
-
devout is 9 hooks i think every survivor hooked twice at least.
-
I've seen survivor at 50-100 during lights out, normal mode killer was 100 usually in evening/night.
-
I always thought a sort of convert feature would be nice even if it was a small amount of blood points or something.
-
They used to be a lot lower long ago, they were 25, 50, and 75. I think they need buffed a bit maybe x3 what they are now.
-
skull merchant butchered, distortion butchered, killer aura reading buffed like crazy, last person mori-able. i could see why people are annoyed. I'm not sure why the mori thing would be hated aside the offerings being basically useless now unless the bp bonus is crazy.
