NOED doesn't need a fix.
14 seconds per totem, the game currently is WAY to fast anyways, cleansing all totems should take you 2 minutes top if all are doing it and well if the other survivors aren't doing it just suck it up, stop being altruistic and leave once you see the exposed symbol at the end of the game, it's not hard.

unbreakable should be built in for survivors with more than once chance to get up. If you’re left downed for over a certain amount of time you can get up. So let’s say you can recover , but if a teammate doesn’t come to get you after idk 60 seconds you can get up.
