I doubt they'll remove it's set status, and I doubt many people will buy it with the huge backlash over this chapter.
-
It's about time, hopefully we'll also get some prestige awards at some point.
-
Devotion is all over the place, It seems almost random.
-
I want more killers that are strong but difficult to learn like blight.
-
I've been thinking about nurse so I can conquer that challenge, but I also play on console.
-
how high is his skill ceiling? I would prefer a killer that has a lot of ability technique.
-
I actually had a strong urge to play her the other day, I've played her a little at red ranks. She's easy to pick up, difficult to master.
-
I've been taking a break for the last two months, I'm pretty sure I just need a killer swap to spice things up.
-
There are other ways to BM besides tbagging. You have to learn to stop letting it bother you or you're going to continue to get stressed out.
-
If you are genuinely that bothered by player toxicity, you should not be playing the game. people will always be toxic in multiplayer games. To quote our lord Mathieu Mcote: "Just go play civilization or something".
-
I hold a grudge If a teammate is toxic, whether it's against me or the killer. Bonus points if they run full meta and tbag at the gate.
-
Devotion 4 Level 76 1,836 hours I don't know if this helps the data but I started a month or so before the year 3 event
-
I get about as much ######### as deathslinger as I do on hag. I can understand it to a degree, but some people will go full danny g in my xbox messages because I picked a strong chase killer.
-
Set sail on an ocean of flavor, scoops main for life.
-
Coming from someone who used to main Steve... I don't want to remember. Those screams will haunt my soul for the rest of my days.
-
Mediocre bait, 2/10
-
Your first chase should absolutely not take 3 minutes. If you can't mindgame them for a hit why are you committing to them for so long? The pressure gained from that down is absolutely not going to make up for all that wasted time.
-
The obsession mechanic released with the halloween chapter, the entire point of it was to allow for perks influenced by mechanics.
-
I actually thought of hag because of the muddy footsteps, but I feel like it's a stretch. The trailer gave out so little information it's difficult to guess.
-
You're running silent bell, sloppy, and nurses. Unless you have 20 iridescent addons in your inventory at all times I highly doubt this is an average game. Additionally, one of the survivors has barely any bloodpoints, so I assume you either camped them or they killed themselves on hook. Coming from someone who has played…
-
Demo needs a lo of addon changes. Make rat liver base kit, and either buff the rest or change the effects. One of his addons is literally mindbreaker for portals, which I think is one of the most puzzlingly stupid and mediocre addons (aside from the ones that flat out nerf your ability for bloodpoints).
-
As soon as you hit that wall the game spices up. You have to put a lot more work into killer, as you're finally encountering the current meta.
-
If there weren't crashing issues, it would be a great implement. right now there's a bug that will disconnect you entirely if you hit a certain survivor.
-
Even if object was only useful against hag and trapper, why would you want to keep that in the game? Slippery meat was (and still is) awful, but they still got rid of the increased trap escapes because it allowed people to get out of traps way too quickly. Object is the same way in my eyes. It's not going to hard-counter…
-
Object doesn't really benefit solo players, so it's mainly used in SWFs. A lot of players don't really know how to use object to it's fullest potential. There are actually a decent amount of SWF squads who stray away from meta perks to make matches more enjoyable for both sides. If you wanna talk balance, I could go on…
-
Just because it's not commonly used doesn't mean it's not incredibly powerful. Having constant info on the killer's location is incredibly powerful with a team. It's also rarely used by solo players, which likely influences the stats. Try getting a 4k against a coordinated team that constantly knows your location and THEN…
-
I still can't believe what they said about object. It's the king of "######### you" perks.
-
This game has survived through much worse than a ######### event. BHVR constantly does ######### that pisses off the community, but we're far too invested to back out now.
-
I can already hear the dev stream response now: "Statistics show that players who run this perk have a perfect balance between kills and escapes, so we see no need to make any changes to this perk."
-
A lot more full meta squads are popping up since the tome's release. I've been seeing a lot of keys lately as well, I've had to tryhard a lot more on my mains.
-
Slowing gens is not the answer, adjusting gen spacing is. I've said this a million times and I'll take it to my grave: I only get gen rushed if I'm either making a bunch of mistakes or I'm on a map with spaced out gens. If they make gens slower it allows the killer to make more mistakes and still not be punished for it. If…
-
Yep, and the sad thing is that I saw this coming from a mile away. Something just felt off about the way BHVR was hyping up the event.
-
If we're talking about perks, definitely Laurie. If we're ignoring perks, I would say Claudette because they usually DC (at least form my experience).
-
Not really. If you run infectious and use your power correctly you can really annoy a team. even if you're not snowballing an entire team you can still pull off a couple quick injuries and end chases fast. A plague in her power is very intimidating, especially if you're injured. I'd say she in a good spot right now.
-
I've noticed that there are a lot more full meta squads since the release of the new tome, it's making killer a total nightmare since I've been getting super into pig recently.
-
A permanent PTB is a fantastic Idea, but It will likely never happen. BHVR pushes out rushed changes that break the balance and the code at the same time, and unfortunately I doubt that it'll ever change.
-
A lot of people talk about plague, I've been seeing her more and more recently. Sure she's still rare, but that's probably because they break her every patch.
-
Deathslinger is the perfect example of a very threatening chase killer with no mobility. I find myself ending chases quickly, but depending on the map size I can't pressure the gens evenly due to my slower speed. I find myself slugging a lot more just to keep people off gens. A lot of people seem to think that gen speeds…
-
They have practice mode on mobile, but I doubt that BHVR would actually bring it to console. I installed DBD mobile out earlier today, and while the AI tend to get stuck on random geometry, they're decent enough to get good practice out of.
-
As soon as MMR is working properly rank will matter even less than it does now. intil then, I'm stuck in red ranks for both sides since rank reset just sends me back to rank 5.
-
I find that most of my blight chases are pretty consistently short. while he's not great on most tiles his new ability to destroy pallets with a lethal rush has come in handy more times than I can count.
-
I'm terrified of Charlie. He's actually not bad for someone who just started playing.
-
I'd say blight is pretty balanced in both the 1v1 and 1v4.
-
PH should have a little bit less of a telegraph on his punishment now that he can't swing out of M2. Even a .5 second reduction would allow for more bold shots. I think he has potential to be a super fun prediction killer, but whether or not BHVR decides to take his gameplay in that direction is up to them. Right now his…
-
They were so busy making The Blight's TR they forgot everyone else's.
-
I feel like I'm tweaking every time I try and interact with something, this needs to get patched soon.
-
The worst one I've heard was probably the bug that allowed you to blind the killer at any point during the pickup animation to guarantee a drop. Maybe it wasn't a bug, but I can't remember what my friend told me.
-
Yeah, but this one seems a little extra buggy.
-
Well, you know the old BHVR motto: patch out one bug, here are two more.
