Honestly, I only pick a different survivor at the last minute if I decide there are too many of that character in a match. I don't wanna be that player that makes the killer have to guess which Dwight I am or anything like that. I rarely use any items like flashlights or keys unless I haven't use it before and want to…
-
Well now I can't help but think of Navi 😂 "Hey! Listen!"
-
So what is a balanced game in your opinion? 4Ks every match? Every survivor escapes every match? Seems to me that most want "balance" to mean that no matter what, they can 4k or escape every single match they play which just isn't possible.
-
The tutorial is really only good for the BP you get from completing it. It's pretty much like reading an interactive instruction book.
-
You could play that way yourself without it affecting every other player if you wish. Oddly enough, not everyone that plays this game plays it to the point of having every perk on every survivor. Not everyone that plays even has access to every perk. For example, I don't have Laurie on my Xbox account so DS isn't even…

I mean, if you feel like a failure, that has more to do with yourself than anyone else. It's a game, not a job. That said, its supposed to be fun, not something that stresses you out or makes you feel like you failed when you've done as well as you can. Survivors aren't supposed to escape every match and killers aren't…

2k is what the devs consider to be balanced...
-
I hate that with the utmost passion.
-
Killers that DC get the same punishment... Quitting because "its unfair" is the equivalent of taking your basketball home so nobody else can play because your team lost. Suck it up and finish the match and move on to the next one especially if you already played the whole match.
-
Cracking up due to the Ranch reference!
-
That's no different than a survivor disconnecting because they don't like a certain killer. It's part of the game. Anyway, I don't defend it but I understand it and since I don't know the reason someone may do it, I don't really care about it enough to complain.
-
Isn't there a punishment in place for DC'ing? It's not like the person that does it gets away with anything. They forfeit the points they earned and get a time out. Why does the whole "team" need to be punished for one idiot does? Keep in mind, I have never been part of SWF other than one time when a killer messaged me for…

I have no beef taking the L as a survivor. My beef comes from killers that will pick on someone because they brought in a flashlight or play as a survivor that they just don't like, etc. If killers can bring ebony moris, they shouldn't complain about survivors bringing in keys. If a survivor wants to go all clicky, clicky…

As someone that plays on both PS4 and Xbone, I would very much appreciate cross progression. I'm simply not willing to pay twice for DLC only to have to spend the time to level up characters twice. I love Nea and her perks but not enough to level her up all over again on Xbox and the same goes for Ash on PS. Not to…
-
To add to your idea, a practice mode with bot killers might not be a bad idea either, though it would probably be a pain in the buns to implement at this point. I know I was a horrible Jason in Friday the 13th until the solo mode came out and I was pretty much forced to learn how to adapt my tactics. Once I took what I…

Probably more or less that it gets difficult to keep up with as the player base grows. The people looking into it are only human and can only do so much. It sucks to deal with it so often but, nobody can be everywhere at once so it also takes patience on our end to allow time for it to be dealt with.
-
I know it wouldn't solve the problem entirely but I wish there were a way that messages such as the ones using obvious racial slurs could at least be censored on the receiving end. Then, whomever is sending it can feel like they've accomplished something and the person receiving it doesn't even have to see it. I let most…
-
If you outplayed them, what's the issue? I don't understand the complaint. You had 2 perfectly viable candidates to hook but instead of dealing with either of them, you make a beeline for the one that was literally just unhooked. The same one I might add that was trying to put distance between the two of you AND the other…
-
People sending death threats in general is absurd to be honest. It's pretty pathetic and immature.
-
Looks like you challenged the Killer's skills and they were none too pleased. Good match on your part!
-
Siege is a competitive game whereas DBD is not.
-
Rank really doesn't matter. For example, I've been playing for about 1.5 - 2 years. Since I don't play this like it's a job, I'm often in lower ranks but my skills are about mid-rank. Stop relying on "rank" to determine someone's skill because some people do play other games and take breaks from DBD. Fundamental flaw with…
-
I thought the objective was to please the entity. That's what I understand from reading the lore anyway.
-
Survivors DO have the right to kill themselves on first hook, it's just a douche canoe move to do so. Then again, sometimes I do it because I get distracted by something I need to attend to in real life. Sometimes, I just don't feel like beating the crap out of my A or × button because I can see my "teammates" doing…
-
Pretty sure this game has no competitive or ranked modes. At least that's what I've understood in my 2 years off and on (I take a break when things get too frustrating both in the game and irl) it's all casual and ranks are only for matchmaking purposes. If you quit because a game is too "hard" or whatever, how will you…

The whole killer v survivor (outside of matches, of course) and killers and survivors being braggarts playing like toxic jerkwads is an issue and threads like this don't help matters. Pretty much anyone doing this outside of showing an example of their point needs an ego check.
-
He reminds me of the Creeper from Jeepers Creepers more than a cowboy. I'm on console so I can't speak to the gameplay other than what I've seen from watching Ohmwrecker though. He LOOKS like he could be fun but, at my skill level....
-
Not even going to attempt to remember amy of this, I'm just gonna play the game to the best of my ability and in a manner that allows me to have fun while not hindering anyone else's ability to.
-
Can we get an example of an AVERAGE match?
-
You seem pretty chill and fair about things. I wouldn't tale it personally if I were you. A lot of the time it's probably fair to say that it's frustration that has been built up over the course of a few matches and you end up getting the brunt of the hate.
-
Sometimes I wait for the killer to show up so I can "wave" to them as if to say "good game, you really made me earn this one!". On rare occasions, I wait to make sure everyone else got out because I'd feel like a turd leaving good teammates behind. Out side of those reasons, if the gate is open, I leave ASAP because I'm…
-
Both sides act like jerks. That's why ignoring messages after a match is really the only solution to the problem. Main issue with this community is the US vs THEM mentality outside of matches and the biases that "mains" carry. I personally don't waste time messaging people anything other than "GG" and leave it at that.
-
If it was a good match and I got my personal goal done, I'll let the last one go or take them to the hatch. I'm a pretty bad killer in the way that I generally just want to have fun and don't care about kills.
-
I'm just saying, the next licensed killer should be The Snuggle (fabric softener) Bear... Think about.
-
Some people are heavily biased and don't play both sides enough to know how it is on both. Personally, I find that its pretty even on Xbox. Haven't played on PS4 in a while, don't want a Switch, and my PC runs the game like crap so I can't speak for those communities.
-
100%. Each side justifies it because the other side does despite learning how that makes both sides wrong in elementary school.
-
"I just wanted to share this with y’all to make fun of these plebs, it is sort of sad how they only got 3 gens done as well. They were also your classic toxic ps4, 4 man SWF" What about not coming here to put people down? The whole point of your post is to do exactly that. Yet, killers wonder why SWF teams bully them.
-
I don't follow that rulebook, lol. Unlike most people that play this game, I take each match as it comes. The randomness of it all makes it fun for me. Most of the time when I screw up, its my own fault, not the fault of a perk or someone gen rushing or tunneling or any of that bs. I actually learn from my goofs and bad…
-
Literally the second comment under the original post. What is said in other posts is irrelevant to this one.
-
I play solo and it became habit after not being able to trust my "team" to heal. After getting unhooked, I don't have to follow some dummy to anywhere either. Running to a corner to heal while someone is hooked is straight up trash.
-
Killers can use DS? OP is a killer main, says so right in the post...
-
I don't know where this "survivors dont care" bs came from. Personally, it doesnt matter how I play as survivor because most killers take the butthurt from one match into the next one. I don't teabag or any of that crap but is sure as hell get face camped and tunneled by craptatsic killers often enough. Much respect to the…
-
Its because each side has people that complain and beg for nerfs or buffs instead of adapting during matches or just plain accepting that they aren't as good as they think they are.
-
Its entirely possible that its more complicated than people that don't work on the game know or understand and its taking a while to fix permanently. Or its just because the game is "survivor sided".
-
You can totally compare a team based battle royale shooter and an asymmetrical horror game. Just not like that.
-
"This is total, total domination" "They've got 4 gens done" Total domination would mean NO gens done.
-
It probably depends on what else he does in a match. If he isn't just running around dropping pallets and works on gens, clears totems, goes for rescues, and such, it's probably not considered griefing.
-
You left out take people to Christmases of the past. I bet it's Jacob Marley...
-
I'd buy a Switch for that...
-
I play every match I'm put in unless I have a valid reason not to or something out of my control occurs. Check my record on PS4 and Xbox. If you find any evidence of me disconnecting, lobby dodging, or anything of the sort, then you can accuse me of being triggered. As it is now, I have yet to ever be in a match that meets…
