Bring back Billy’s original chainsaw animations before patch 3.7.0 they were so satisfying and not sure why they changed them. And OG map lighting or make it a modifier for nostalgia reasons.

Bad news the crouch tech was not fixed. Still works on Billy, demo, and blight.

Then and now it doesnt take up the screen i just preferred the old one.

i would nerf him by: Reverting his curve timing Remove Lopro/Rework it to something else Increase the chainsaw cooldown back to 3 seconds Overdrive turns off after chainsaw hit.

How I would nerf the hillbilly: Revert the initial turn rate timing. Change Lopros to something else Make overdrive take longer to gain Overdrive deactivates after each chainsaw hit.

I think they should revert his curving buff it’s a little too strong at the moment because it makes nearly every loop unsafe against him unless he messes up.

I don't think they should've buffed his curving rate. Now he can curve a lot more earlier than before and its going to mess with peoples muscle memory. But everyone other change is perfect for billy.

I fixed it. Also yea I’ve been writing posts about his animations for years and will do more in the future lol. It would probably have a better chance in a separate feedback post because I think they are done with billy.

Are you talking about the camera bobbing? I think they added that because he limps. But yea it should be removed because I and probably several others don’t like it.

Sounds like a good idea!.. But make all killers move at survivor movespeed and remove bloodlusts.

You literally had so much time to get away but for some reason you just stood at the wall waiting for him to get closer to you. But all seriousness I think his cooldown addons need a nerf and probably revert back the cooldown to 3 seconds.

At this point just remove overdrive and make him how he was back before overheat just without busted addons then everyone will be happy.

they made him do that because they want billy to lose "LOS" on survivors, meaning it gives survivors a better chance from breaking chase from billy.

He plays the same as before he’s really not that different. The only issue he has is his cooldown recovery addons. Those are what needs to be toned down a lot. They made the overdrive mechanic because they want people to use the chainsaw a lot more.

Make the cooldown addons not stack with overdrive otherwise he'll be fine. Replace downside for tuned carb from 4.4 to disables overdrive and then lower the charge time to 10%. Also his revving animation when he’s walking has been bugged since patch 3.7.0. It made him look more menacing to go against. Heres a gif to see…

Hillbilly has too many overdrive addons. Also can we change the downside of Tuned Carburetor to something else or remove it and shorten the charge bonus to 5-10%, or even a crazier idea disables overdrive.

If only they were to spent time fixing his animations that they broke(Unless its confirmed intentional changes to them) and left it how it is now then billy will be amazing to play besides his overdrive. they got broken in patch 3.7.0.

I’ve been told that BHVR couldn’t think of addons so they added overheat to fill in the missing addons. But yea the main reason is to stop infinite rev camping

Yea maybe one day. I only like his old revving animation mainly due to how scary it made him look lol. And also I miss his old cooldown animation

I think his current animation he doesn’t move like he has a limp. They stated they changed this animation to make billy and other characters look like they are sliding when they are moving. But who knows

nah, i think just removing the overheat mechanic would be the better option and they revert his cooldown animation to what it was before.

unfortunately all of his animation changes are intentional, i asked one of the devs on twitter, but yea remove overheat then rework his 4 addons that involve overheat

i have an interesting addon idea: Every time you bump into an object survivors with 8 or 12 meters away from you have their auras revealed for 3 seconds (bumb duration) then lingers for another 3 seconds

roar should be triggered when he gets a chainsaw hit not when he sprints
