Welcome to killer gameplay during jungle-gyms. it's mostly guesses and TRYING to throw off a person who has the advantage of third person cameras.
-
We need a whole forum subsection for tru3's ######### hot-takes. I seriously hope that fogwhisperers don't have a say in gamedesign but then again I know that they do which is absolutely sad.
-
Oh cool so killers just need to play the game as a job to be competitive against other people who play for fun. Gotcha.
-
BHVR needs to fix camping and tunneling by making DS/BT actual anti-tunnel/camp PASSIVE abilities that every survivor has but in ofc a much more situational and weaker fashion and ofc that would require significant buffs to killer (for example seing survivorperks pregame)
-
Wow, I'm not even gonna discuss with you, you seem to lack gameknowledge. "it's just a 5 second stun". No, it's an entire hookstate, without that 5 second stun you'd be on the hook, how is it hard to understand for survivors? Oh wait, because most of the ppl playing dbd are casuals who never gamed competitively before. Pop…
-
devs say it's the same as any other killers, I'm gonna trust the ppl sitting behind the hitboxes over some random ppl who have no clue about gamedesign.
-
The first person in this thread who can give me undeniable proof that freddy has a longer lunge than other 115% speed killers gets a 50€ steam gift card.
-
That's bait
-
Scott also said that those sweatsquats almost never happen, scott is also a guy who goes 30+ 4ks in a row with not only an unviable killer but also using a memebuild on him. Maybe look for info beyond your confirmation bias. The only thing this game needs is to close the gap between SWF and killer in terms of SOCIAL…
-
You're bouncing between arguments, maybe instead of touting what a guy with a lack of understanding in the game says form your own opinion. The game isn't played competitively and it will never be (no, your ######### 5k dollar price private tournament doesn't count). Most people who play this game are casuals, even the ones…
-
I also don't think every killer should have counterplay, it's 1v4 a kiler needs to win a chase fast or the 80sec/gen is not justified. But saying "durr, she has counterplay if her controller ######### up" is just downright wrong Her counterplay is hiding as with all killers who have a big TR/warning that they're coming.
-
Oh cool by that logic people can never call somebody bad even tho he is bad because if he's better than them....wait what was your stupid reasoning again? Part of her power is mindgames, if he just phases every chance he gets then there's no mindgame to it, I'm not even gonna watch those dumb videos anymore because it's…
-
I don't play this game for a living and I'm not used as some kind of example rofl. Your argument is as bad as tru3's arguments.
-
Or he's just bad.
-
Can we stop using this 7000+ hour streamer who is mediocre at best as some kind of prime example?
-
Don't forget how he claims that he is stating "facts". This is what happens when ppl who are meant for the trailerpark become milionaires through other obnoxious people with a dunning kruger effect.
-
Oh great, so a perk wins you the game and that's totally fine and dandy. Where's the killer equivalent to this? NOED? Devour Hope? Perks that give extra-hookstates should be brutally hard to activate and highly situational and limited to a one-time effect per GAME similar to haunted grounds with EASY and reasonable…
-
The thing is why are soloplayers put up against premades. Herd mentality makes this ######### a crappy experience as it's almost always premades ganging up on the solo in flamewars or ignoring him in teamplay scenarios.
-
So how do you want perks that are better than what survivors already have? Because nothing beats having second chances.
-
Every perk seems bad in comparison to perks that give basically what amounts to hookstates. Survivorperks are ridiculously OP considering there's 16 of them total in a team vs the 4 killerperks. I mean what comes close to DS? Haunted Grounds? NOED? an Unfound Devour Hope?
-
I'm so glad that this also applies to survivors. Bad unhook? Both go down, luckily there's no perk that gives the survivors the choice of a late unhook with risk of the unhooked survivor being downed again if the killer was close. Going down already 60 seconds after an unhook? Luckily there's no perk that alleviates this…
-
It's not just me and friends, I basically get ousted out of every group that I'm in lol.
-
Basically telling me that "if I don't like being excluded maybe I should start to learn, read a book or something" is the same as telling me I'm uneducated. I live in germany so education is used ALOT as an insult.
-
They talk about other stuff, I was literally never in school and never worked in my whole life, I can't keep up with any topic.
-
In any game really, it's a plague
-
It's in ALL of ######### online gaming nowadays, try playing league of legends, at least a team of 3 or even 4 in your group while you get ignored. Try play call of duty and watch the damn clantags popup, heck even ######### diablo3 has my GF playing with 3 damn other ppl because I'm "boring and uneducated".
-
Not just DBD, everything is FILLED with ######### ppl playing in premade groups together, I'm sick of it.
-
I never said the game was balanced but what ppl like you want is a dead game. I'd simply be happy if I could play together with other killers in an 8v2 mode so the game doesn't feel so lonely, I don't need it to be balanced.
-
because the nurse isn't a cointoss and way more reliable if you are godlike on her and on contrast to spirit the nurse has absolutely no counterplay except for the map itself. You ignore that you should not be able to beat the killer 1v1 in the first place at these genspeeds.
-
Stridor is just a side effect of the sounds in this game being absolutely atrocious AND/OR not working at all.
-
Because being a good survivor amounts to being able to extend a chase to at least 20 seconds and splitting up on gens. Ofc it's a bit more nuanced but a single survivor making a mistake is not much, it just amounts to less optimal gens and the only hard mistake you can do as survivor is go down near others against…
-
Just because you say it's not a mistake doesn't mean it's not a mistake. He made tons of dumb decisions (as usual btw since that guy isn't the brightest) and as you mentioned, against dumb survivors this would work. But against dumb survivors winning is not hard in the first place so why bank your gameplan around survivors…
-
They could do the same thing again even more easily without the old ruin, yeah godloops were changed but they didn't excessively use them in the first place, the games were mostly over so quick that the amount of resources on the map are still way to many and irrelevant in the first place because the only killers that…
-
1:38: Its not really wasting much time taking survivors into the basement as killer even if you aren't 100% sure you will return, because it wastes the rescuers time as well having to go down and up it. And its always a good idea to do it because you dont know who is hanging around it. You cant really blame him for doing…
-
Every killer has counterplay but survivors don't deem Hiding to be fun so they won't do it. The games that I lose hardest are the ones where survivors are hiding like crazy especially on killers like PH who has a big TR. Fun is not considered when balancing a game, nor should it be.
-
You don't need to loop optimally, drop the pallet early and if he breaks run to the next one. don't try to play for fun, don't open chests just hold m1 and W for distance, It's not rocket science, there's more than enough defensive ressources in most maps.
-
Hiding is the most fun and thrilling part of the game and should've been the base experience, too bad that hiding is pointless if you're the only one doing it because hiding will get your team killed if you don't take aggro for ppl on deathhook etc.
-
Nothing objective about a guy with what...7000+hours playing what amounts to a party game suggesting changes that would outright kill it for a majority of the current playerbase. You can try to be objective and I say that as a guy who's views on balancing align with his but you won't be.
-
This killer is unredeemable and will have to be reworked sooner or later.
-
Because it's not neccesary, he's B tier, he's not insanely strong and we don't need to make everything a god damn skillfest in a game that isn't meant to be played for 10.000 hours.
-
It absolutely is, what is the point of playing killer then purely from a perspective: You're not just playing alone but you're also way more stressed and people here for some reason want the killer to require more skill than the people who are in the numbers advantage.
-
It absolutely is, it's already a miserable feeling to play alone while 4 others are trashtalking you.
-
it's only 60 seconds per hookstage. Good thing that DS isn't stacked on each survivor and that gens take 2 minutes each and that a killer doesn't need to hook each survivor 3 times.
-
Why do killers need to be harder to play than survivors who just have to hold m1 and W to win while getting handheld in chases through the red light and third person camera with maps that are mostly still very biased for them.
-
China needs to be regionlocked, it had to be done before and new devs on new games ALWAYS wait out until their games are already half-dead.
-
Dude, DS is extremely counterable, just leave the person who recently got unhooked for 60 seconds to do whatever he wants (Which amounts to 120 seconds per game). Gens take so long it doesn't make a difference, now let me just check genspeeds.
-
literally the game is designed around 5 gens going off with at least 3 survivors still alive unless they ######### up. If killers are bad for letting 5 gens go off then you're basically saying that killers are overperforming.
-
can you play with them tho?
-
Freddy Cos I have long fingernails. What else?

Aside from the fact that a customer is literally entitled to a good product after paying money.
