It does clearly not make him OP. There are already very few players willing to play Oni (as a Survivor, I almost never face him). This is due to the quite hard steering during his demon dash and his very weak early game, I guess. His power is not a no-brainer. If you would take the 180 flick, this killer will be even…
-
They should just make the 180 flick basekit again imo. It is useable anyways on PC and doesn't make him OP or something. Oni is already feeling very clunky to play and has a lot of downsides, like weak early game, fast depletion of blood fury and requiring vacuuming blood for his power. I loved him when he first was…
-
Even though the game is more balanced than ever before, I don't feel like playing it for more than the tome challenges anymore (if even that). Gameplay is repetitive on both sides, killer is only playable during the daytime cause sweaty groups creep out at night and the latest patches and events were disappointing to say…
-
Well it is in a much better state because it is way more balanced now than before. Killer gameplay was unbearable at that time due to the game simply limiting their actions. Survivor gameplay is not broken. In my opinion, it is just a skill and missing coordination issue in most of the cases. Especially in Solo Queue. But…
-
Game is in a much better state than few years ago when Survivors had stupid strong stuff (insta bnp, insta heal, old DS, old DH, infinite loops, saboing all hooks on the map without respawning, being able to deny one killer from his power by perma saboing traps, instablinds etc.). Not to mention old vault "speed" of…
-
Uff, this would be a massive nerf. There are a lot of Survivors out there knowing exactly how to outplay an Oni. Imagine you can not get a survivor with your power around fences, LT Walls or literally any sharp object whatsoever. You just would have to chase them by foot in this case which would make his playstyle way less…
-
Yes, I can also confirm this bug. It was already bugged during the PTB and also reported as such, but nothing happened and this mess made it's way on live servers... Please fix asap. I know you like to make killers feel unfun to play, but what you did to my boy can't be intended..
-
On high level survivor sided. Otherwise it is pretty random, depending on maps, layouts perks etc.
-
P100 Survivors are usually the weak link in the group, so I make sure to tunnel them out first. Jokes aside, most P100 survivors don't play any better than the low prestiges. It just becomes problematic when I see a 3 -4 P100 lobby, because I have to assume that I am going against a full sweat squad, which is not fun in…
-
You should not worry too much about your playstyle, if it's overall fair. As long as you are not hard tunneling anyone, it is totally fine to have the same person on a hook for two times in a row. It is not considered tunneling, if the person could heal in the meantime or do gens or whatever. If the Survivors blame you for…
-
Oni: Higher as Nurse and Blight for sure, maybe even higher than Billy. It is not only mastering his power and flicking, but also the fact that your power is not constantly available. You have to manage it, knowing when to use it and where to better not waste it, knowing how to play the tiles and predict surivors…
-
As a Killer: Usually a 3K; a 1K when it's against a very strong comp SWF. As a Survivor: Putting up some good chases, unhooking, doing gens and being overall a useful teammate. Since the Survivor role is so much easier and less stressful than the Killer side, I don't really care that much about escaping.
-
Survivors asking for 5 second DS stun? Then we will go back to the "I slug you until your DS runs out" meta. You need to understand why many killers feel the need to tunnel and rather design perks/mechanics that reward a killer for not tunneling. Not re-rework a ban-aid perk that was just unhealthy for the game in its past…
-
I also don't see why so many Survivors are complaining about the state of the game. Nerfs for survivors were very necessary in the past years and an efficient group of survivors can still give killers a hard time. I exclusively play Soloq when playing Survivor and can confirm that the teammates get more and more efficient…
-
Survivors have pallets, windows and exhaustion perks as counterplay. If you are outzoned, you should go down quick.
-
This happened with some other killers as well. Chucky now gets the same treatment as Billy and Oni before. By reducing or disabling the flicks, they kill the fun in playing these killers a tad bit and make them feel clunky to play. Especially, if you know how good it felt before..still missing the old PTB Oni :(
-
Oni - make his demon dash charge faster and his pallet smashing in blood fury faster - it feels very clunky without add-ons. And give him an ultra rare to dash through pallets in demon dash, comparable to blights ultra rare. A hit with his basic attack should also grant more charges for his power. He is literally the only…
-
Because it only works against SoloQ. A coordinated group of survivors will still slam the gens right in your face within 5 minutes.
-
Just delete her due to "bug fixes" - forever. Easy fix.
-
I don't think it's gonna die soon, since a lot of people seem to still enjoy the game. I only play the game to finish the tome and the rift, not for fun.
-
Increasing suicide on hook/DCing is going to get kill rates up, which is going to affect the statistics and is therefore a legitimate way to tell the devs that something is wrong with their game in the current state. SoloQ is bs right now, not gonna blame people for dc.
-
Bringing 3 Gen regression perks? Never would I do such a thing, unless I have a very bad day. I thought the patch was about trying out new perk builds and not to rely on the gen pressure builds (at least this is what I was hoping for). But I guess survivors will slam the gens even more now that the times have been…
-
Well, as it was said, Gen slowdown perks have been heavily nerfed and Survivors still have the possibility to bring perks and toolboxes to boost their repairing speed. This makes up for the additional 10 seconds. Only SoloQ survivors are affected by this.
-
I still get gen rushed as a killer, seems even worse than before..
-
It will stay as it is or even improve, cause the changes are good and healthy for the game.
-
Oni - Shelter Woods
-
Give Oni his 180 degree flick back. This 90° flick feels super clunky.
-
Solo Queue might not be the best, but it is not as bad as you depict it here. I don't think the Solo Q will be butchered with Basekit BT and Perks that speed up gen repairing. Not to mention the Nerf on Killer Gen regression perks. Overall I think the changes will be healthy for the game. Pretty Good Job so far Bhvr (no…
-
Camp one to death and get another one with Noed. That is how the 50% happen lul
-
Favorite: I stopped playing this game Worst: I still linger in the DBD forum
-
I arguably played more Killer than Survivor with more than 3K hours in the game now. But I played Survivor for a fair amount, I would guess in a 1:3 ratio (it becomes more and more survivor lately, because for obvious reasons). I have never played a single game in a SWF so far, all my games were in Solo queue. Of course,…
-
Same could have been said for some sort of Killers, and still they got nerfed one week after release. Anyways, I like the Boon Totems very much on the Survivor Side. As a Killer, they can be annoying, but I don't think they are game breaking.
-
I play Killer because I like getting heart attacks
-
She will get a nerf when people mastered her. So no worries survivors, bhvr got your back :P
-
I always jump into a locker next to anyone who selfcares, they deserve no better! >:-)
-
I did it with insidious hook camping. Was even a pretty fun game though. Works best on in-game maps like Lery's.
-
I agree to a certain extend, blight is a good killer (he is fun to play, because he has litlle cooldowns on his ability and can move fast). But he can be outplayed super easily and is no way a top tier killer. He is okay though, one of the few newer killers that have a nice design and are overall fun to play but also can…
-
Devs are super scared to release strong killers cause they fear the backlash of survivor community. What they tend to forget about is the killer's level of fun. If a killer is simply too limited in his power to be viable (depipster, I like the name because it's true), playing him ain't fun and equals self-torture. All…
-
Trickster so good, I made it to rank 4 with him...from rank 1. And the downward spiral is still ongoing
-
I like being toxic in both roles..But more so as a survivor cause it's more fun and only kills the fun for one person.
-
Running towards hooked survivors or survivors working on gens when being chased. No gud!
-
If it really is dying, then most likely not due to perk changes, that give more balance to each side.
-
It's like what they say about sweat swf on comms: Sucks to play against, but happens like in 1 of 50 games (The spirit+ruin+undying combo). So I don't see a problem here.
-
Well, there has been a time when BT was a one-time-use perk and it got buffed again. But that is not the point. Yes, survivors used to have stuff that was ridiculously overpowered and the devs had to adress this. The simple fact that these things have been in the game shows a lack of understanding their own game. So it is…
-
Well, things that got nerfed on Survivor side were broken af. Insta helas, old BNP, infinite loops. Survivors that days had literally the power to never even get hit by a killer (thank god most of them weren't skilled or experienced enough for that. DS and BT are still VERY strong perks, so that one doesn't count as a…
-
I used to play a lot of Killer but stopped to play the game completeley for several months now and tbh I don't miss having high blood pressure and death wishes in end game chat. Survivors, you won! You can have the game for your own! I will only return, if they announce a really good killer (which won't happen, let's be…
-
No worries guys, devs will look in the statistics, see that it's used quite often among killers, see that survivors are starting to complain about it and give it "a little tweak" until nobody wants to use it anymore.
-
Or within the second half of 2021
-
I would be surprised to see a change to keys within the first half of 2021.
-
I can't see how people can call the changes to Wraith and Trapper "buffs". They are adjustments that won't affect the outcome of a match in the slightest. In other words: they are not even worth being mentioned. Changes to Survivor perks are neither. The reworked perks will be used for meme builds at best. Changes to…
