Huntress is fun to play as and against. She stays.
-
I think it's a challenge in the current tome. You have to stun the killer two times in the same trial as Yui. So you're probably right ^^
-
I started playing trapper again after a long break. I wanted to try out hubris, enduring and spirit fury on him. Having a blast atm, it's kinda fun watching survivors panic and predropp every pallet in range when they realize what perks I'm running. 😅
-
Hmm… I usually play killer without any slowdowns and I'm still having a good time. Am I in the wrong here? 🧐
-
Thanks for sharing! Worked perfectly :)
-
Skull Merchant, nothing with her mechanics but my soloq team will most likely dc/hook suicide against her. Legion, hate the mending. Trapper, literally makes me scared of walking around the map 😭
-
I really appreciate you sharing your story. Comming out was never a dramatic or difficult experience for me, since I was lucky enough to grow up in a very accepting and open minded family. That's why it's sometimes easy to take my own experience for granted and forget that it's not the same for everyone. Your story serves…
-
A struggling wraith DCed after second gen popped and the said the he hoped our families would die in covid. A Freddy reported me for "being toxic" after I used Head On to stun him twice while he chased my friend. He still got 4k. A trapper accused us for genrushing when he went on chasing a Steve for the entire match. This…
-
Open Handed, Kindered, Wiretap and Windows of Opportunity. I can see everything, sucks when you go against stealthy killers tho. 😢
-
I love that! <3
-
I know the feeling. I'm playing survivor almost exclusively, and I'm pretty bad at it. But I'm getting steamrolled almost every trial. Don't think I've survived more than five times this week, and that's including the killer letting me escape. Despite that I'm constantly matched with very versed killers who outright…
-
I also play soloq almost exclusively, save for a few games with a friend. I guess it depends on what you perceive as camping/tunneling, but I don't think it's a common occurrence. It happens, but usually I think it's the most strategic thing to do when it happens. like two gens left and no kills, or people swarming the…
-
Yea I don't get why so many players dodge lobbies with p100 survivors in them. In my experience high prestige has never been proof of skill, quite to contrary to be honest... they're usually the ones who go down first and fast.
-
A Laurie once accused me of hacking because I kept finding her "no matter how good she was hiding" (her words). She was running Object of Obsession and probably missed the part of the description saying we can see eachothers aura (this was also the old OoO). Guess she thought only she could see my aura. Since she was…
-
Not really, plenty of ways to deal with it in case it becomes an issue. It usually only secures one or two kills for the killer in the endgame, assuming the rest of the team isn't super altruistic.
-
At least they stayed in the game. I have people dcing against me when they realize that they can't blind me. 😐️
-
If I score higher than my opponent, I consider it a win.
-
Survivor used to be Adam because of his cosmetics. But I've switched to Leon lately because he is pretty, I'm also a Resident Evil fan and he has always been my favourite character. As for killer I'm pending between Bubba and Yeehaw. Pretty straight forward gameplay that suits me.
-
The Wolfman, would be really awesome with a werewolf in the game. Would be kinda scary if he ran on all four while chasing you.
-
That makes sense, isn't really rocket science either now that I think of it. Thank you for taking time to help a noob out 😍
-
This really. I doubt a toxic player playing survivor will stop being toxic just because he/she switched to playing killer. Generally there are only two kinds of people, good ones and bad ones.
-
As a survivor? No. And sometimes it's very frustrating to go only against red ranked killers since their skill usually overlaps mine by a long shot. I rarely feel like I have a chance of escaping 😥
-
A huntress slugging my entired team until we bled out. Don't know why, guess she doesn't like bloodpoints. A Claudette sandbagging so I couldn't reach a pallet in time. Her and her friend later escaped through the hatch with a key, abandoning me and my friend. Good game. I really hate people sometimes.
-
Same. Had to think through the game after this happened, but concluded that this was the only plausible moment when the challenge could've been completed.
-
Dropping my firecracker by accident at the start of a trial. Blinding myself, probably some teammates and revealing our location to the killer. It was a very experienced Leatherface we were facing. Needless to say that game did not last very long.
-
Chill. I enjoy trying out playing with different perks, I'm also not good enough to play to win all the time. It makes my experience more enjoyable.
-
Jake, because he brought Calm Spirit and Iron Will. Not screaming all the time helps.
-
People seem to assume the worst from others I suppose. Waiting with the unhook until it's safe is always the best move, even more so if you didn't bring borrowed time. You'd think a streamer would understand this, or at least speculate, rather than flaming you. It's the same when people start trying to unhook themselves…
-
At the beginning of a match a accidentally set of the firecracker I brought with me. Not only did I manage to blind myself, but probably also some of my teammates while alerting the killer of our location. Shortly after Leatherface appeared and downed all four of us in a matter of seconds. I'm glad I was playing on PS,…
-
I'd love a werewolf of some sort. Thinking it would be a rather mobile killer, able to climb and jump obstacles (trees, walls, pallets etc). It could also infect survivors with lycanthropy. As the disease spreads the survivors lash out against their nearby fellow teammates in a fit of beastial fury, damaging them for one…
-
Detective's Hunch, getting rid of Devour Hope and NOED.
-
Last time I met someone who was using this was yesterday. By Claudette who was AFK for the entire trial until she was killed, guess she was deranking xD
-
Items, offerings, specific builds or playstyles are in themselves not toxic. What's toxic is when you treat other people like crap without any reason whatsoever.
-
Balanced landing, autodidact, detective's hunch and soul guard. Decided to try out some perks I never used before, and this "build" came up. It stuck and I'm enjoying it ^^
-
Yes that is a problem. You can be slowed down by Thanatophobia, Sloppy Butcher, Dying Light etc and not get a single skillcheck. Rarely happens though. But I really enjoy healing someone to full health in almost an instant, it's just a satisfying experience lol.
-
I rarely see it. I personally prefer autodidact though, it's unreliant on saves and give you a great healingspeed-boost at five tokens. ^^ Although I doubt that neither of the two are considered meta.
-
Sorry to say that it is a valid strategy, many dislike it but it still is. Happened to me twice yesterday. My friend got camped, he also had kindered, and you could clearly see Bubba revving his chainsaw in front of my friend. Sad thing is that the other two survivors decided to go and save him (without Borrowed Time), I…
-
Prettiest female is Kate or Jane imo. I really dislike Feng Mins looks. Prettiest male is probably Jake with his black/darkblue hair and round shades, or Adam with his short hair and goatee. Uggliest survivor in DBD is, without a doubt, Ash.
-
I feel you. Made Calm Spirit one of my basekit perks after the archives had a few doctor-challenges, made my life easier. Also counters Billys and Onis with Infectious Fright to some extent, I'd recommend trying it out if you haven't already. :)
-
That's a great question. Few things in this game are more frustrating than getting chased for a good 2-3 mins without having single generator finished. Apparently some people in the red ranks go into hiding when they hear the slightest heartbeat, it's more common than I thought
-
I guess I better start bringing Kindered again xD
-
That's true very true. I'll reconsider, thanks for your input :D
-
I'm considering small game as well, or maybe Detective's Hunch... still have to decide which perks I should change for those though xD I know, it's rather frustrating. It's good points still, even if the killer doesn't run NOED.
-
Really? Sweet! Thanks :D
-
Not maining killer myself, but the ammount of hate I get in contrast to how few times I actually play killer is out of proportions. Recently after getting a 4k as the doctor, a Claudette sent me a message saying she hoped I would die in cancer :/. Ironically she was the one who played the worst out of the four survivors by…
-
Samination. I like his streams when he does the voices from his parodies, it makes them very entertaining to watch. Plus he feels like an average player whom I can relate to, not one of those bully the killer til he quits kind of streamer.
-
As a survivor main, I really hate this behaviour. Kindness is free and can be unlimited, yet too many chose to use it sparingly. Played a game yesterday where me and my friend managed to escape. We watched the last two survivors who was bulling this poor Ghost Face hard. Too hard apparently, since it looked like they…
-
It could be I suppose... Especially now that you mention the blackeyed children. I've heard that urban legend before, and it always activates my Spine Chill (joke intended :D). I came across this clip recently. It's a fan-created dlc and I like the general idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOSL1JnpdOk
-
Kindness is free, yet people seem to use it sparingly for some reason. Let's sprinkle that ######### everywhere! <3
-
It would be failsafe for sure, if you're struggling with skillchecks. Even more so if you encounter the doctor with Unnerving Presence. I'm not a highranked survivor, but I'm not struggling with skillchecks. So I doubt that redranked survivors do, therefor I don't think even this buffed perk would be used in the top-tiers.…
