Thanks for recommending Agitation. As much as I love Pain Resonance, I've dealt with some bad RNG on Shelter Woods/MacMillan (Scourge hooks all on the far corners of the map) and The Game (Scourge hooks only on the lower level). So Agitation would definitely help with that.

Ahh...I don't know why I didn't think of Franklins. But that was also my fault since I wasn't paying attention to what the Survivors were bringing into the match.
-
That's my life right now since I switched over to PC from Xbox a few months ago. It hasn't been easy. lol On the plus side, the benefit of having played a lot on Xbox helps you to better focus your efforts on PC. So with Survivors I have leveled them up in the following order to get the best teachables: Dwight (Bond/Prove…

Indeed. I've had no issue finding a match as a Survivor, but it's taken forever to find a match as Killer. I ended up not waiting.
-
Indeed. That's a great point about it being a time waster.
-
What?!? Wow...I had no idea. I thought I was up on DbD happenings, but I guess you miss a day, you miss a lot! lol
-
OK. Thanks, y'all. I'll try this out.
-
Ok cool. I was able to complete this challenge in my next match as Plague. Now to continue to work to get Bill's new cosmetic in the rift. All the way to Level 70 in the rift...whew lol
-
That's so strange. I had 4 stacks of BBQ and 3 of the Survivors were sacrificed. I'll try this again
-
I'm always surprised when players claim that it is easy to rank up as Killer because that has not been my experience AT ALL. While I have found it to be relatively easy to rank up as a Survivor (my highest rank before rank reset has been 5)--playing Killer can be stressful at any rank lower than, say, 14. If I were…
-
My position on ranking is this...if a Killer's familiarity/experience (or lack thereof) with a character isn't taken into account, then a Killer's rank should set the UPPER limit for the ranking of the individual members of the group that you're facing. So if I'm 13, then the group I'm going against should be 13 or BELOW.…
-
Then what is the purpose of MM?
-
You are so right about the lack of trust and cooperation. That's a great way to explain it.
-
I just earned my first Merciless Killer with Pig, and it was against pretty decent Survivors too. That match was both fun and challenging. I think I might continue to play Pig as one of my regular Killers. 🐷🐷🐷
-
One more thing...I like Surveillance A LOT. That was the main reason why I decided to buy the Saw DLC (along with Detective's Hunch on Tapp), and it does not disappoint. I'm a Deadslinger main, and I can easily see how Surveillance would be valuable on him.
-
Got it. That makes sense. I've had success with Survivors being killed by my traps before the EGC, and I thought it applied during EGC as well. Guess not lol
-
Something similar happened to me earlier. I was being chased, but a Meg was running from the killer in front of me. We both were running towards a pallet, and then the Meg dropped the pallet without looking back to see if the killer was even close to her. Solo queue is rough. lol
-
Alright, yeah, I think unlocking the Cannibal faces is bugged at the moment. I just killed another Meg, and I still didn't unlock the face...
-
All sacrifices, no Mori's.
-
Dag. It didn't work.
-
Thanks! I will try that.
-
My spreadsheet
-
Similarly, I would put David as 'Hard' instead of 'Intermediate' since No Mither is typically pretty difficult to use compared to Bill's perks at least.
-
No one is saying that the Killer couldn't/shouldn't have believed that it was a "good game" even though it was a one-sided contest. Rather, the point of this thread is to ask whether it is indeed rude to communicate "ggwp" to a team that got stomped on. One doesn't negate the other.
-
Who said it was a good game? As the OP, I certainly didn't think it was.
-
I think your second paragraph seals it for me. I accept that 'GG' is used as an electronic handshake and is a sign of good sportsmanship. However, the 'WP' when used to mean Well Played--especially when a match by any objective standard was not well played--feels dishonest and a little scummy. I'm cool with 'GG', no need…

I think your second paragraph seals it for me. I accept people thinking of 'GG' as being an electronic handshake and sign of good sportsmanship. Fair enough. But to add a 'WP' to mean Well Played--especially when by any objective standard that game was not well played--feels dishonest and a little scummy.
-
That definitely applied in the earlier match. lol What would the WP mean?
-
But wouldn't saying GG WP after every match dilute it of its purpose too? To me, it would be like adding an exclamation point (!) after every sentence. It would quickly lose its value/meaning.
-
Ok cool. I haven't checked out the DbD Discord, but if that's the solution then I will try out. Thanks!
-
Yeah. I've been down that road as well. Sadly, I've never gotten any of my pips reinstated.
-
OP, I've been struggling with this issue for the past few weeks. I play on Xbox One, and recently the game has been disconnecting on me either before the match or during game play. It's gotten so bad and has happened so repeatedly that I got a 72-hour ban. I've submitted multiple bug reports but to no avail. I understand…
-
Yes, this has happened to me recently as Killer when the screen glitched as a Survivor used Dead Hard. It almost looks like the Survivor has teleported.
-
This started happening to me a couple of days ago on Xbox One (pre-patch). Since the patch has been live, I haven't had any issues
-
The same thing has been happening to me on Xbox One since yesterday.
-
Maps played were Crotus Penn, Glenvale, Auto Haven and, most recently, Coldwind Farm. The only common Survivor perk used was Hope.
-
Yeah. That is frustrating. I'm currently at a 13-minute DC penalty...SMH
-
Ugh! It just happened again. This is the fifth time today. I notice the game seems to cut out when I either try to open a chest or work on a generator.
-
While I agree that Spirit is not as hard to play as Nurse, I certainly don't think she's one of the easier killers to pick up and play. In fact, I would say she's only one notch below Nurse and Blight in terms of level of difficulty and ease of use.
-
People underestimate the level of skill required to be good with Spirit. Even when using a headset, not being able to see survivors while phasing makes using this killer more challenging than, say, Wraith or Trapper.
-
Update: On my first match of the day, I earned my first adept on Deathslinger. And this time the achievement actually unlocked on my Xbox lol Next I'm going to go back and try to complete the adept with Cannibal and then with some of the other killers I like to play. This has been a cool challenge since it has forced me to…
-
That's encouraging because I am ready to move on from this build lol
-
Good news/bad news... Good news--I just earned a Merciless Killer using Cannibal and only his 3 perks! This came as a surprise since I was on a map that I don't find favorable to the Cannibal (The Game). Bad news--For whatever reason, my Xbox didn't unlock this as an adept achievement. There was definitely a Merciless…
-
OP, it's cool that you posted this since I am doing the same challenge now. I already have Meg, and I am missing the other three. Since I am now ranked pretty low due to the recent reset, I have had a good time playing some chill games while seeking out Claudette, Dwight and Jake in the lobbies. The only that sucks it that…
-
That makes sense. Thanks!
-
I came in here to ask the same question.
-
Yeah, I play on an Xbox One. Plus my TV is already set to its brightest levels.
-
Yep. You can also add Midwich to the mix. Both Midwich and Badham are ridiculously dark in certain areas.
