"Crotch purks" this had me LMAO! That's just asking to be memed.

I'd be happy if they just increased Prestige to 5 and gave us a full bloody outfit for P4 + P5. All the separate pieces would be nice but I'd settle for just the full costume without the ability to break it down into its constituent parts. Eg. Nea P4 = Bloody 'Tomboy Trends' outfit. Nea P5 = Bloody 'Street Rebel' Outfit.
-
Prestige 4/5/6 should be blood wraps (body/legs/head). Of course, all cosmetics will need to be changed to accomodate the blood layer. Dunno how likely that is. EDIT: I'm thinking this will be more work than they want to commit to since they would need to do a bloody version of each outfit that is different in design to…

Yeah, this seems to be a pretty big issue, and having played mostly survivor since my return I hadn't really encountered to much of it from the killer's perspective. Now, everytime I hop onto killer because survivor times get too long this is what I face. I wish they'd just fix the ranking and matchmaking already (because…
-
I use 40% on my killer and previously used 50% on survivor. With talks of the upcoming increase I have been slowly taking my survivor up and am currently running it on 65%.
-
LOL, that's the trial in progress screen. The killer's items are now blocked out (by the red smear). Because dead players would tell alive players what the killer was using. EDIT: Wait until the trial is finished (all survivors dead or escaped) and you will see what the killer was using.
-
If this only affects some people then it can't be bad optimisation alone, there must be something else exacerbating it. On PS4 you can try rebuilding the database. Failing that I'd try a new HDD, as others have reported fixing FPS issues on other games this way, although that should only really be effective on open world…
-
Yes, the devs have no regard for my poor sticks. +1
-
I've been trying to think up a killer like The Mist, where they can't really be seen but have no direct contact with the survivors and have to attack them by other means.
-
This was my proposed ability for 'The Thing' licensed killer. It would need to be one of the four survivors picked in the trial or it'd fool nobody. It'd be hard to make it effective against SWF for sure. Another idea is to sow confusion or distrust by other means. Like survivors giving off a TR and red stain or other…
-
This has given me so much grief, especially with the lag that ensues when trying to load or unload the archive.
-
I've been reset. PS4. UK.
-
Now that's a better idea... Incentivize using character perks. A passive bonus of some sort to compliment their area of expertise when using all 3 perks on the original character. I like that. Like a 2% movement speed increase for Meg. An extra perk slot as a bonus would be too much.
-
Yep. When I am utterly deflated from a ridiculous Benny Hill match, I go to the basement and stand in the corner facing the wall, contemplating my failure like a bad killer who knows the entity will be displeased and that he'll probably be going to bed with no supper tonight. EDIT: Meanwhile, the puppet master puts down…
-
Only seen 1 in about 10 games today. PS4.
-
Nah, they had their chance - if the survivor perks were not teachable they would've given them 3 unique abilities each. I definitely prefer it the way it is now.
-
Before I changed my privacy settings to stop players like that mesasging me, I would send them screenshots of the rules and the warning about fake reporting with a short message explaining that they are now at fault and liable to be banned if continuing to make false claims. EDIT: I would follow that up by reporting their…

Exactly.
-
Depends. From your 3 choices it sounds like you will unlock them with shards, so that rules out licensed killers. If you want a new playstyle go Spirit or Oni. Spirit will be my next shard purchase. I just got Oni and Deathslinger. Played a little Oni and he's fun. Deathslinger I have yet to try out. If you were to buy one…
-
That's not too bad, considering you probably wouldn't touch them again when running that strategy, unlike having to reset traps with Trapper and Hag.
-
Killer: Is there a Killer's Rulebook for Survivors? Survivors: Hahahahahahahhaha. I do love the DBD parody animations.
-
I'm the poorest of the poor Legions as I have barely any perks.
-
Oh, I didn't realise they had increasing penalties already in place. I've only ever seen 5mins.
-
I really must get around to organising my footage and making some montages.
-
I only play to have fun, lol. I don't take this game seriously in the slightest, with it's weird ranking and matchmaking, and contiually debated balance. Trapper is all I played pretty much when I started out, and even now I have put less time into all the other killers combined. Random traps are too amusing to me. Chasing…

I agree, it does promote that hook-camp mentality but I like to use it for jump scare moments - waiting around in unexpected places. Most games that I play I do so with video captures in mind. Not sure how the devs feel about this perk, but given how they feel about the camping strategy I'd say they are fine with it.
-
Good point about the difference between how it looks on paper and how it plays in game. As for the 12m (I mistakenly put 14m when adding the +6m add-on), the max is actually 18m x9 (8 base + 2 extra poles, but it's distance between poles so the last doesn't come into equation), so a wall of 162m. How would the time to…
-
Nice ideas but they should just fix matchmaking and ranking. Single player (due to AI) would probably take resources away from a team that has, arguably, more important things to work on - I imagine this would be a common response (going by all the "fix your game before more content" posts), even though there are probably…
-
+1 Best idea I've seen in a while.
-
If we had a penalty system similar to the one in GR and we got an auto-disconnect feature for players over a certain ping we could not only curb (or at least better punish) rage quitting but also push out the laggy players. Having strikes helps to prevent penalising innocents.
-
The only way I'd endorse that is if the culprits could still play as Killer. Without another gamemode that could be played while on timeout in ranked this would not be a good idea - Custom doesn't count. It is always a difficult thing to deal with in online competitive games since it is a kick in the teeth to get penalised…
-
I see why Exemplar *discourages tunneling/camping, but those types of players wouldn't run it. It's an interesting killer. Kind of a passive Doctor (or a Trapper-Doctor) with the ability. I'm not sure about the number of *poles though. Seems excessive and you could probably create a side-to-side division across the whole…
-
But what about when the exit gates are open and the remaining survivors only then get first hooked? You want them to not try to escape?
-
Wax his mask.
-
I believe the "nerf" guy was being sarcastic, because that would seemingly be typical of the devs. At least that's how I read it.
-
Yeah, since I came back and saw the change to Kindred I was pretty impressed to say the least. A lot of perks and mechanics have changed since I last played (Dec 2018) so there's a lot to get used to.
-
Rank is only really a measure of BP gain, meaning consistently lucky players will also have good ranks. The only way I can see of having a meaningful ranking system here is for survivors to be based off escapes and killers off kills, but AFK is still gonna be a problem (we really need an auto-kick feature for killers that…
-
Oh, my mistake, this is actually the build I was thinking of. I'm not a fan of balanced landing. I confused the icons in that other post, haha. #alwayshigh
-
Hmm, almost sounds like an anti-tunneling perk for a killer. Interesting. But would a tunneler pick this and forego his usual tunneling build/strategy? Probably not. Regardless, it's a decent enough sounding perk. I'm no expert though. Out of interest what killer would you use this on and what would your build be?
-
Yeah, the model you describe I have only seen in free to play games. I believe greed would be the only thing blocking it in paid titles. I wish I could sell all my useless items for 1 AC each before prestiging - maybe an option to convert all remaining items once you have confirmed prestige? Haha, I won't be holding my…
-
Okay. But I like to run that setup as it's good for me. Not too bothered about what is better, but I'm not a fan of SB as I always accidentally trigger it. Not trying to be a pro or use all the best/OP builds. I run what I feel like running at the time and all my survivors/killers have limited perk choices.
-
Beat me to it. +1
-
Unless it's just the speed that makes it seem that way. I'm always high AF so I could be wrong.
-
Hmmm. When I hold down a frenzy hit it's a massive lunge.

Okay. Thanks.

Bad ping killers absolutely should be dodged. Make them leave the game and come back when they have better internet.
