For many hours I did this but if you don't interact with the killer on a regular basis, you are objectively a bad survivor. It obviously depends on game state because you can play "correctly" and have no hooks, but if you are bad at looping you at least need to be thinking about blocking the killer so they can't finish…
-
Maybe but it prevents people from just taking all the best perks. Four gen regression perks for example. OId DH could even be a thing under a point system it would obviously be highest value of points. I wouldn't have limited items either you would just unlock different versions permanently. There would be slow medkit with…
-
The game having four perk slots, two add-on slots, and one offering slot regardless of what they are instead of a weighted point system is horrible for balance. The game having its only survivor objective holding M1 on a generator forever is really boring and a major drag on the game (including balance). A plethora of…
-
I had a game last night where it really felt like the Wesker was speed hacking. He was reaching me on pallets with his M1 while I was looping in ways that just made no sense. I'm pretty sure he hit me 6 times while vaulting and it was a "Huh?" moment every time, which isn't something that happens to me normally. I very…

I keep seeing survivors saying that they are being tunneled almost every game. Is this not an indication of said survivor-induced tunneling? You have three teammates why are you being tunneled every game?
-
Sorry if my post sounded harsh, I was just a little confused. If you really want to tunnel the haste isn't too big a deal as long as you are around when they are unhooked. I think the solution has to be some form of both incentives and "punishment" however. People will still tunnel even if it increases gen speed because 3…
-
He is right about one thing. Holding M1 as survivor is pretty boring. Anyway, I have to go uninstall my game now.
-
His experience is apparently that killers hit the person being unhooked right off the hook 100% of the time. In that case it would be pretty useless.
-
How does the increased gen speed for a dead survivor solve your stated cause for tunneling? Isn't giving increased gen speed to all survivors just an even bigger punishment for tunneling? I'm fine with 20 seconds of BT, you can hit them twice if you really want them down or you can just do something else.
-
This is 100% the case. There have always been a certain number of gamers that love camping for whatever reason. It's like when you lose a game of domination in CoD because your teammate is sitting somewhere with grenade launchers etc padding their KD instead of playing for the objective. The game has to encourage them to…

This is why I want to see my MMR. I have 150 hours and I get consistently matched with survivors with 1k+ hours (survivor and killer). I was playing survivor yesterday and I got matched with a 4.7k hour survivor main twitch streamer who was practicing for a tournament. Then I will get matched with a group of survivors with…
-
I had a guy try to give up yesterday. He got downed and we distracted the killer. I ran over and got him up off the ground and he just stood there. Killer downed him again and slugged him. We completed 2 gens before he was finally hooked (the only hook the killer had so far), and he tried to kill himself. I 100% saved him.…

I guess it's already time to argue that Reassurance should be basekit for all survivors.
-
That's what a lot of people don't seem to get. The old DS BT DH meta wasn't a problem for killers because they couldn't tunnel. It was that good survivors turned their anti-tunnel/camp perks into a free pass to terrorize the killer and keep them from accomplishing anything for half the match.
-
No one guy complained that means all killers want sprint burst removed from the game.
-
Bring fearmonger on low mobility killers then. They either walk everywhere so they don't use it up or don't get it back while working on generators.
-
Why does this forum seem to be full of survivor mains who only want BHVR to buff survivors and killer mains who want BHVR to only buff killers? Maybe because I actually play both I can understand the arguments from both sides. If they increased the base BT it is because they didn't think it was long enough (which it…
-
I like the brown jacket + sunglasses model. I don't know if I'm the only one but my problem with Ada is that her face looks like Asian NPC #2 rather than a main character.
-
Sorry bud, escaping through hatch isn't a win. It is a consolation prize of some blood points, so survivors don't feel so bad. All you are doing with this post and your "I never heal anyone" post is showing your complete lack of game knowledge. Once the killer applies pressure by injuries, interrupting gens, and hooks…
-
It is not 100% but if you know where the survivors are (lethal pursuer) when it spawns you can find the box. It spawns basically in the area where both Pinhead and the survivors are not. There is an Otzdarva video on finding the box on YT.
-
Every game that does this nowadays has MMR in the unranked mode making it completely pointless. You leave ranked for some nonsweaty games and you get sweaty games there too. It's the main reason I don't play CoD for hundreds of hours anymore.
-
You always make some good points then you say things like "they slightly nerfed Thana" and then it's hard for anyone to take what you say seriously.
-
Five percent would likely be way too much. You would also have to lower total gen time to make up for it. This would cause games where the killer loses three generators 10 seconds into their first chase. As well as games where the killer gets some quick hooks and snowballs to the point where survivors can't do anything.
-
I would have to say this depends on what is considered a win and what is playing nice. Sometimes I even feel bad playing nice because I'm keeping survivors in a match longer that I (and I'm guessing they) know they are never going to win.
-
I can't tell if you are trolling at this point. As others have said, whether or not healing the other survivor is a good tactical decision depends on what is happening and what the game state is like. Even if you think it would have been better for the other survivor to go do something else you have to react to what is…
-
Nerfing self-care was a massive buff to survivors. Now they don't waste huge amounts of time self-caring and they bring more medkits which are the best item in the game. It's like a double super buff.
-
No. If there are problems with the game it is the developer's fault. People are always going to try and find the best builds and strategies. Every game has a META it is basically impossible for it not to happen. People want to win the game. It is up to developers to create a game that has a healthy META. I agree with you…
-
Perhaps try pointing the opposite of the direction you want them to go.
-
I don't even know how anyone is supposed to take this seriously. Some killers you know are older, and some survivors are younger therefor killer is easy and survivor takes skill and reflexes. No logical holes in this argument at all. Why are you trying to denigrate an entire group of people who play the same game as you?…
-
Among Us, HotS, and LoL do have a system for banning people who are being offensive. LoL does in fact put people who have low "honor" in lobbies together. This chat you presented would not qualify them for punishment in any of those games or any game in existence. Maybe in 2030.
-
Killers play survivor. Survivors play killer. Everyone is playing DbD. People are also individuals with their own thoughts and feelings. Killers and survivors are not two separate hive minds even though it may seem like that on the youtubes.
-
It's funny. Based on your comment history you strike me as the kind of person who would say that instead of camping/tunneling a survivor to secure a 1k at the end of the game the killer should just take the L and let everyone escape.
-
The biggest one for me is survivors who go behind a wall and are suddenly moving at Hope speed. And yes, auto dead hard is a thing but it is basically impossible to tell. They could easily just be hitting E at the right time. A couple nights ago I had a suspicious Dwight on Haddonfield. He was the last one left and the…
-
The queue times are longer during the day (still not 10 minutes) for me but only a few minutes past like 5 pm. One thing that everyone has been bringing up is killer queue times and how that must mean no one wants to play survivor. No one mentions how before the patch killer queue times were instant. By their logic that…
-
I'm really not saying this to be mean but if that chat actually bothers you enough to make a forum post and talk about banning you need to get some thicker skin or improve your confidence. That is some incredibly mild smack talk. Also, if you don't like it don't respond to them and leave. You responded to "ez game" that is…
-
I would argue that the game needs either a sequel or a complete rework if there is any chance of making the game actually balanced and getting rid of things like camping/tunneling. I just started playing recently so I don't really know the history like other people, but it seems to me like the game started out as a silly…
-
I think a new zombie should spawn every time you hook a survivor. Then, when a survivor dies a zombie horde spawns and rampages across the map.
-
Some people play to win. They bring the best perks and employ the most effective tactics available. They get fulfilment from this. Others don't care so much about winning. They like to use off meta perks and goof around. Both are valid. If a strategy, tactic, or build are unhealthy for the game it is on the developers to…
-
I try and spread the love but there is almost always one survivor that insists on showing up on my screen repeatedly. That or two of the survivors are being extra sneaky and the other two survivors get all the hooks. If one or two survivors end up dead early because of mistakes made there is no room for complaining. If you…
-
Even if Seal Team 6 was playing DbD, basekit kindred would be a significant buff.
-
There are a good number of line-of-sight blockers on Midwich which is a weakness of Nurse. However overall, the ability to traverse the different floors, rooms and hallways at will is a massive advantage.
-
I don't know how people don't realize that this game is impossible to balance without a total rework of the game from the ground up. The game is enjoyable despite the imbalance and the horribly boring generator objective.
-
What are you thinking? What are your suggestions for eliminating camping/tunneling from the game?
-
It adds a dangerous area of the map that survivors have to be mindful of and the killer can take advantage of if they so choose.
-
The same downside to any "solution" people come up with to make solo q better. It makes SWF better too.
-
I don't know what is so hard to understand about this. He is talking about people doing nothing. Not people healing or doing totems. If you heal or do a totem you wouldn't get the crows or w/e said in-game solution is...
-
I don't think The Game is a bad map for killer.
-
The games you get put in are based off your MMR though...
-
Whether or not they are able to execute, hitting with a hatchet first from close range allows you to follow up with a second hit much faster. Like way faster than most other killers are able to get a second hit. If you hit with M1 it is the complete opposite. The survivor will be able to make it to a "safe" area or get…

Was it the Kate or the Feng? I can't tell based off the length of the name, but it looks more like the Kate which would be extra hilarious based on that score.
