there are some addons wich will increase the sound on wounded targets, but the last IW change made it so its no longer possible, i used to run the huntress addon wich pretty much gave you stridor on targets hit with hatchets but then the dev said that the 50% of 0% is still 0%.

rembember when they patche the game to not allow survivors spawn within 24 meters of hex totems? well a few patches in that got thrown out the window. pretty much the same thing.

unfortunately sound bugs are never on the top of the priority list, mainly because its seems its a huge time investment for them just to release a new patch and have it be broken again. at this point i think they are not even trying to fix it.

I would really advice BHVR to add the " Verbal abuse" tag to the ESRB ratting for this game, its pretty much the only purpose end game chat has.

Also other thing to note, the survivor you play may give the impression a hatchet is not supposed to hit, specially with female survivors, while visually they are smaller they still have the same hurtbox as males wich are usually taller, thus the illusion of BS hits.

i would like something like this just to have old freddy back, but i think this could be achieve just with an ultra rare addon, also the addon system kinda already achieves what you are suggesting , a variant system would have to change killers dramatically when it come to mechanics to justify it.

the only issue i have with iron will is that i wish it did what is supposed to, wich is no groans of pain while injured, instead survivors dont even have breathing sound at all on top of no groans, wich is not even in the perk description.
