I understand the edge survivors have on comms and I agree it's unfair. As far as the mechanics of the game that give killers an advantage, I've already mentioned those and didn't mention them all. You must be new to the game or have not seen what this game was before. Killers have it far easier than they did back then. If…
-
You keep a player from actually participating in the trial. Killers have MORE than enough advantages so if you have to rely on such a cheap tactic like tunneling and camping then how good a killer player could you be. Everytime survivors get anything new there are always complaints. Killers are faster than survivors, can…

In my suggestion I recommended that it's a shared cooldown between all survivors having boon perks. I'm not sure on the cooldown time I agree it should last a bit, something like 20 seconds wouldn't cut it.
-
But it's a "strategy".
-
I had suggested a cooldown after a killer snuffs out the totem. You mentioned tunneling as a "strategy". Tunneling is never a strategy and if it's relied on then the killer is terrible. I've seen many experienced killers destroy teams without resorting to those tactics.
-
That's your story and I'm sure you're sticking to it.
-
No it's not op, let's not exaggerate.
-
Another boon thread....
-
Please don't judge us all. I for one don't taunt the killer but there are killers that do taunt. Why can't we just play the game?
-
I keep asking for and wanting this mode.
-
This is a 4v1 game so the 4 should equal the 1, right? If 4 boons are up then they will cover most of the map. When the killer has a hex up it covers all of the map. The hex effect is felt by all the survivors but the boons effects are felt whenever the survivors are around it's radius. I keep seeing the argument of "well…
-
You would think that would be the thought process but no. Creating a mode like this should be obvious.
-
Agreed. If anyone says anything positive about survivor then the killer mains get angry and group up together.
-
You are possibly one of the VERY few people that actually knows about that.
-
If I'm following that logic then when a killer dc's survivors should pip.
-
It's the opposite for me as a survivor but I completely understand you from the work aspect.
-
"Survivor sided"? I keep seeing that phrase thrown around all the time. I personally feel this game caters to killers so I don't agree with that.
-
Nothing wrong with gen speeds.
-
I wasn't trying to distort anything. You made a vague comment that led me to believe something. I don't know what makes the game fun for you based on your response to me but will agree on the cooldowns.
-
If you're not having fun then give it a break. I still don't understand all of this you have to win to have fun mentality. You have a problem with boons but in my experience boons are a massive waste of time. Also I always get teammates who NOW want to cleanse totems when before this update no one did that. It's not boons…
-
You ended up with almost 30,000 bps... Why are you upset?
-
Why? Nevermind, no thanks.
-
I agree with all of that. I've seen what the game was like in the earlier days and that was 1000 times survivor sided. Now the pendulum swung to the killer side. The weird part is that no one actually realizes it. Why do the devs always favor one side then favor the other but never find a spot in middle?
-
So glad I'm not the only one who understands this. The mechanics of this game are too exploitable. In order to fix the game they would have to rebuild the game from the ground up. They avoid doing that and give the game bandaid fixes hoping to fix things but they never work.
-
I've been wanting this in the game for TOO long.
-
Doesn't anyone on this forum ever get tired of complaining? Killers complain, survivors complain....who cares. There is no reason to take this game this seriously. If they wanted to fix things they could make custom games be actually customizable. With that players can play HOWEVER they want. Don't like pallets? Remove…
-
More than half the posts on this forum are from killer players complaining. This is not an insult but just an observation.
-
So if survivors work on their objective which is gens then it's "gen rushing" and when survivors run from the killer (which is the only thing they can really do) it's the "hold w meta". Which both are considered unfair to killers... Not looking down at anyone but I'm failing to see the logic here.
-
Same, I loved F13. F13 felt like a true horror movie experience especially when you're the last counselor standing.
-
Not really, well at least I don't.
-
TRUE
-
My teammates all die 5 minutes into the game and it leaves me against the killer at 3 gens. Believe it or not 3 gens is an amazing feat with some of these teams. I've learned to not play to win anymore but instead use each game to teach myself new things about the game.
-
Tell me I wasn't the only one thinking these things: "Don't let him get to tier 3!" "Loop him!" "Where are the pallets?" "The entity's going to be so angry, he's killing everyone and the entity isn't getting a single soul."
-
The MMR in it's current design is terrible. I've been in games where I've done 3 gens alone then went on to run the killer long enough for my team to complete the last 2 gens only to be caught, hooked and left for dead while my teammates escaped. In the MMR's design they were good players and I wasn't so their MMR…
-
As you said there would need to be tweaks to the game but this would help killers since gens are a problem for killers. With no gens and add a new objective, it could work. This idea gives an equal opportunities for victories on both sides. Camping can be fixed by adding a mechanic to ensure it doesn't happen. The idea…
-
I'd be ok with it but then you'd need to buff killers in some way. You'd need to rework maps again so that infinites can't occur. Maps are designed for current killer speeds. There would need to be a lot that would need to be changed for that to actually work. So I very seriously doubt that it would happen. I would rework…
-
It does feel like that.
-
You've made your point a number of times and you shouldn't have to defend it. You're entitled to your opinion, nothing wrong with that. Constantly having to defend it will probably upset you if it hasn't already. I would like to have Bubba tweaked too but I wouldn't change much about him.
-
Well said and true. As time went on with dbd the meta became boring, quick gameplay removing much of the survivor vs killer interactions.
-
Both sides of this game need work.
-
I usually agree with the survivor points you bring up but this isn't really a fair question. I say this because killer players can say... "If survivor is so hard and unbalanced, why do you play it?" Which someone already did and it makes a fair point.
-
Your arguments have good points to them and I agree. I agree with your points. Many confuse unfun with op.
-
Nemesis needs adjustments in some areas and he'll be better to play and play against.
-
Nemesis isn't fun to play against. The basic design he has needs work.
-
"Ok so tunneling ruins the fun for 1 survivor but when the killer has to watch 4 survivors run out of the exit gate before they teabag 100 times its fun for the killer right?" I never said that was fun. If they are all at the gate teabagging then the game is over and that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about…
-
This is going to be another us vs them....fun.... When a killer tunnels they ruin the fun for that survivor. When a team "gen rushes" they are doing the objective. The killer is going to be there all game long so no one is stopping the killer from having fun. When I get tunneled and face camped I look at it as the killer…
-
I don't like using youtubers when defending my viewpoint because it depends on the youtuber, right? Ohtofu says that killers just need to be good at applying pressure. Yes maybe the first two gens might fast but a good killer can snowball pressure. I agree with him but it doesn't make that fact. Good to see someone who…
-
What's gen rushing? Survivors have one objective and when they complete the objective, it's unfair? The speeds are not an issue and slowing them down would not be a good idea. Blame the devs.
-
I see you read my thread on suggestions for killer buffs.
-
I don't know about NOED basekit but I would like to see the idea of hex totems having their own slot. Survivors destroying hex totems decreases the strength of a hex perk. This gives survivors another objective they know they have to do instead of not knowing they have to. Survivors having this second objective would give…
