They could try to replace the blood and gore with cartoon and sound effects, censoring the moris only on the character. And when they hang, they hang on their shirts. Scooby can hang on his collar. Pinheads animations seem to be quite unique he breaks pallets, opens lockers and grabs survivors from lockers using hook chains and a lot of his animations seem to be very unique to him even picks them up with them from what I saw in a video.
