I used to think he was just too sensitive to criticism but after reading this thread I get why he is
-
The “20 second rule” is just to get new killers to realize it’s ok to drop a chase. Most killers start to recognize when they’re in a bad chase and when they’re not and when to drop chase with experience
-
the only problem is you don’t have a gen stall perk. If you’re losing games too fast I’d probably consider keeping ruin over brutal. It’s not really the best on doc but you don’t have any of the meta gen stall perks.
-
I’d swap nurses for STBFL. Brutal is better than you’re giving it credit since dropping pallets early is a doc counter. also I think the electrode and discipline addons are his best
-
Nemesis PWYF and you could debate a lot of the two other perks, is quite strong on him. Not top tier but really playable at all ranks and gives you a chance to win any game. His addons are the same. There’s two that are just obviously the best and no reason to ever run any others besides being out of them. So I think he’s…

I run monitor, ruin, discordance, and spirit fury
-
They may have been referring to the inception of the film, not the inception of the genre.
-
why is having a sorcerer a deal breaker lol
-
As trapper I don’t think it’s very effective to trap the hook for a few reasons. But it’s not camping.
-
Fungoose also plays off peak hours and a often on a smurf account
-
At rank 7 you’re a couple of games away from being red rank.
-
Could probably drop into the basement on any map also
-
While I don’t agree with everything here I think it makes sense for all characters to have all 4 perk slots unlocked and 1 level of each base perk at level 1 available. You shouldn’t have to grind a few hours at a huge disadvantage in order to have just a basic build.
-
I don’t think that giant TR doc is that great especially without other killer perks. Whispers with static blast is plenty of tracking but may as well run bbq as well for the bp. I think noed, monitor, sloppy butcher, overcharge are all solid options on doc as well to try out as you see fit his better builds use other…

I usually run corrupt, stbfl, whispers/brutal strength/infectious, and surge/pop. corrupt and STBFL are really strong on him and I think they’re his best perks. Others you can fill in per your strengths as a player whispers is good for tracking and to let you know if anyone is watching where you’re trapping. Brutal…

Its a mistake to think about each game individually when applying an MMR system. Everyone is subject to the same variables over time and that becomes increasingly more true over a larger sample size of games. Did a skilled survivor get downed and face camped by an iri head huntress while his rank 20 teammates hid in a…
-
It gives you a pretty significant movement speed boost also. It’s not just an insta down
-
It is as survivor. As killer you’ll be playing high rank players regardless
-
Idk I think he’s going to be a really popular NOED hook camper and people are going to complain about how OP he is
-
I think it’s been consistently worse since the last rank reset. They seem to be taking the lowest ranking survivor as a benchmark and filling it with higher ones. I’ve noticed this when I play survivor also on the plus side my queue times have been much faster.
-
Arent those rank 4-8 survivors are the same rank 1-2 survivors you’ve been facing that got bumped back in rank reset? They didn’t keep their rank anymore than you did.
-
28 now. Ive been working on escape 4 trials on the last time and now the first survivor challenge is basically escape 5 trials so I might be stuck on those for a bit lol
-
When survivors are close it seems to work better to tap m1 than to lunge. The aim assist seems to work better. Also sweeping your camera to keep up with movement helps when they’re trying to juke you
-
Rank reset is awful and I don’t understand why they do it at all. Sticking a bunch of red rank survivors into green and marching them with brown and yellow rank killers isn’t any fun when the day before they were getting competitive matches. It takes a week or two for everyone to settle back in. I mean I get why red ranks…
-
A lot of cities contract a cable provider as the ISP and negotiate the price with them for exclusive access to the coaxial cable infrastructure. So there would be only one high speed provider for an area. And they actively pursue measures to prevent any competition. you should look into how cable providers are fighting…
-
I still don’t get what you’re saying. Do you want them to make exceptions for people with internet so bad that the game is unplayable? Like you should be allowed to try and play and fail and ruin the game for everyone else in the match as often as you want to and be treated differently? Is that really the point you’re…
-
Obviously the goal should be to try and get all players on both sides to play every match to completion. It’s not a magic bullet but most problems aren’t solved that way.
-
Can you link it here? I’d like to read it also
-
Survivors spawn next to gens at all ranks. I can finish the gen I jump on at the start of the match like 7/10 times before the killer finds me, and if he finds me someone else’s gen will pop instead. It’s just how the games go.
-
I have a more difficult time pipping as killer. Plus a lot of killers give hatch or the gates if people dc or just if you survive long enough. Survivors don’t throw themselves on hooks for you lol
-
A good killer shouldn’t rely on ruin but should rely on corrupt?
-
I run STBFL, M&A, Surge, and discordance on doc. I think discordance is strong on him since you can frequently catch at least 2 in static blast, often right at the start of the match, in addition to the info it provides.
-
I think PWYF and beast marks and a charge time add on are pretty necessary to make him feel playable. Nemesis helps manage PWYF stacks and is really strong on him also. I think a STBFL build where you chainsaw the obsession is also underrated but not as strong If you’re new to the game or learning bubba his chainsaw is…

these are pretty cool ideas
-
I think you’re off base on there being too many variables to find a meaningful way to measure relative player skill. The variables are present for all players and games are short and frequent, which works well for filtering out these “bad luck” RNG scenarios to a point where players that find themselves in them more…
-
I think what you’re overlooking is that these variables aren’t really variables since everyone is subject to them, especially over a large volume of games. More skilled players will find ways to win more games than less skilled players under the same conditions.
-
Get close and then don’t lunge and just tap attack and track with your camera. You’re much more likely to miss if you lunge.
