Same issue on PC
-
No, it wouldn't. Survivors just do nothing for 60 seconds so even if you downed and hooked someone else, even two other people, they'd still have it and hit you with it. Someone else being hooked should deactivate it, period.
-
No problem, hope it helps. Here is my log if that helps as well.
-
I restarted and still have 0 points.
-
Here is a photo. You can see I own the Knight cosmetic "Open Heart" but have 0 points in the top right corner.
-
I am also experiencing this issue as are other people. I got the Knight's body cosmetic but still have 0 points.
-
This makes me nervous that I'm missing more cosmetics that I am not noticing because I have so many. I am for sure missing frosty eyes, orange eyes (hallowed eyes? Idk the name but I know I had them on Hillbilly) and pumpkin head Nurse.
-
I hate this, I hope it is a bug and it gets fixed soon.
-
This is such a whiney entitled post. Killers aren't getting killswitched just because you don't like them guys, which is basically what you're asking for here considering a minor sound bug is in no way game breaking.
-
Sony has cross progression with Destiny 2 and other games though and if Microsoft has no issue then that leads me to believe BHVR doesn't care enough to even attempt to make it happen.
-
There is nothing stopping survivors from doing specific gens. The killer cannot hook a survivor anywhere they want because of the wiggle timer. These are not comparable situations.
-
You understand you’re going off like this because someone told you you played well right?
-
Not really comparable. DBD is very RNG based and asymmetrical at its core with a ton of random elements on each side that you won’t know about. With football, the field is the same, the rules are the same, etc. You can get 8 hooks in DBD and no kills. That doesn’t mean you played badly.
-
Seems that someone’s reaction to a “wp” says more about their own thinking than about the person saying it. A killer can 4K and still think you played well. Survivors can all escape and still think you played well. As long as they weren’t BMing or being toxic in game then I’d take the “wp” as genuine and move on.
-
Perfectly explaining why MMR is bad.
-
I hate MMR, solo queue is rarely fun, killer is fun more often but sometimes it’s not fun at all. I basically come back to this game for a couple weeks at a time, then stop for several months. I’m in the middle of my 2 weeks right now. I’ll surely get fed up soon and leave again. If the 6.3.0 PTB changes come to pass I…
-
October 1st and this is still happening. I did enough in one match to finish the ritual but got no progress on it at all. Come on BHVR fix this crap. PC/Steam, Groaning Storehouse map.
-
What they should actually do is add comms to survivor lobbies so every group has the same benefit, then balance around that.
-
45 seconds is a long time, 11-22 seconds is not. If they leave it as is it will very much make life a lot harder for some of the weaker killers without affecting the strong ones nearly as much.
-
The idea is good, the numbers are very bad and desperately need tweaking. I think 60 seconds base and 30 max with perks. 11-22 seconds is too fast. Slugging when used right is meant to put pressure on survivors. It used to mean 2 survivors weren’t on gens (1 dying, 1 picking up) and a 3rd being chased. The second survivor…
-
I try to play “nice” as far as the survivor rule book is concerned and when I lose I still get people teabagging and flash lighting me at the exit so like, why should I play nice if survivors are gonna be rude to me anyway? I will still play nice because that’s just how I play but I can see why other killers have decided…
-
Okay a few things. 1) Ranks don’t mean anything. You mentioned SBMM so you know that that is how people are ranked. The gold and silver rankings are just for BP awards and just mean someone has played a certain amount since the 13th of the month and that’s it. 2) I think we misuse the word “toxic” in this community. What…
-
Absolutely not, she would be broken OP.
-
That has nothing to do with killers being OP and everything to do with solo queue needing serious buffs to raise it closer to SWF levels. Then killers could be buffed accordingly. As it stands, killers are too strong against solo and oftentimes too weak against SWF. When the difference between the lowest level and highest…
-
Assume everyone has Dead Hard unless/until you see them use another exhaustion perk. Wait to swing for a second, try to bait the DH, etc. You will get better at it with practice and see it isn’t that big a deal. For gens you need to try to pressure them. Run perks like Hex Ruin or Pop Goes the Weasel for slow down,…
-
It isn’t toxic to play to win. Some survivors seem to think the killer owes them a fun game/it’s the killer’s job to ensure the survivors have fun. Yet, survivors have no problem ruining the killer’s fun. Sure, the killer can still play, but if the fun is sucked out, does it matter? It is not the killer’s job to make the…
-
Agreed, it’s wild how many cheaters there are and it doesn’t like anything is being done about them. We need some hardware bans otherwise people just get the game again on a new account and it’s stupid.
-
You think no one cares because we haven’t made 600 posts saying so? I’m happy for the nerf but I’m not gonna make a post about it. I’m also concerned about the broken stuff they are adding in along with the key nerf. We can be happy about one thing and unhappy with another at the same time.
-
I think the change is fantastic. If a survivor has a key and uses it to escape hatch when they’re the only survivor left, I don’t care at all. That’s completely fine. Hatch not spawning with multiple survivors alive is *chef’s kiss* perfection. Idk about other killer players but I usually don’t care if the last person…
-
If your whole team is alive then why are you trying to use a key anyway? Do the damn gens and escape the way you’re supposed to.
-
OP because it let 3 survivors escape with only 4 gens done and the killer couldn’t do a thing about it. It’s not about getting a 4K (why is this always the go to argument? It’s so weird), it’s about one item being able to end a match prematurely, with no skill, sacrifice or prerequisite to its use. Multiple survivors…
-
Psst, even good players can have bad matches. This whole calling someone a bad killer if they have a bad match thing is stupid.
-
How about you just don’t insult people for how they play a game?
-
I have noticed the irony that DS actually hurts killers who don’t tunnel the whole game more than it actually hurts tunnelers. I’ve had that exact situation happen to me a few times. I get DSed at the damn exit gate because I didn’t eat the DS earlier in the game. It’s a slap in the face and honestly makes me feel like I…
-
They were broken OP. It was time for them to go.
-
You could just ignore them? I don’t understand why people are harassing them for making a thread. @Peanits or someone there is some weird stuff going on in this thread.
-
You have twice as many posts as him….
-
The fact that survivors can light them over and over again after the killer cleanses them is so broken. Completely unfair BS. All killer hexes are prelit and then are gone once cleansed but survivors can relight their boons immediately after the killer cleanses it. It’s just baffling that they think this is fair.
-
I think just the sound being added to the PTB is a good thing. Adding the visual of the dirt might have been too much but just the sound? Still means there is mind game potential since you don’t know exactly where she’s coming from but you aren’t totally in the dark either. I think it’s a blessing that they couldn’t get it…
-
Probably a year or more, because most matches were just aggravating and not fun anymore. I've taken lots of breaks from this game when it just stops being fun.
-
Or, neither side should be criticized for running perks that are in the game. They are meta for a reason, particularly gen slow down perks because the gens go super fast without any gen slow Dow . I can’t think of any perk off the top of my head that is broken in it’s current state or needs nerfing. Are BT, DS and DH…
-
There is nothing wrong with Dead Hard. It’s an exhaustion perk like any other. So many people run it that you should just assume they have it and wait for it or bait it out before downing. Once they use it, it’s gone for the moment. Yeah it’s a pain but like someone else said, if you keep missing at their DH then that’s on…
-
It’s an exhaustion perk not a second chance perk.
-
Grades are not ranks. The more you lose, the lower your MMR will go and then you’ll have better match ups.
-
Appearance… of add ons? I’m super confused, please elaborate.
-
You need to try other games. I get what you mean by not enjoying other games because DBD can be genuinely addictive, but if you give yourself time away from it and try other games, you will gradually stop wanting to play DBD and begin enjoying other games. Try some single player experiences, there are so many incredible…
-
Spirit, Cenobite, Nemesis, Wraith, Trickster off the top of my head have cool attacks and weapons.
-
BBQ is best used for BP, with the auras a nice bonus you get sometimes. Looking at it any other way is a mistake in my opinion because, as you said, it has many counters. The BP are great so I always run it and I usually see at least one survivor, maybe more, but if BHVR got rid of the BP bonus I would drop the perk in a…
-
I HATE this map. I have only played it as killer but I can’t imagine it’s fun for survivor either. I was playing Blight with Tinkerer but I can’t get to the gen before it pops because it’s down a 20 corridor maze. It’s so hard to follow scratch marks because of all the turns a survivor can take. There were also no hooks in…
-
No, not even a little bit. He needs some buffs.
