  • How to make any opinion you have, past, present, and future, completely obsolete in a single post
  • My biggest pet peeve in this game is survivor teammates who refuse to let you just go next. Mainly when I go next I have a very valid reason for it. Someone DC'd within the first 5 seconds because it's their 500th Wesker in a row or it's a sweaty tryhard Blight / Nurse or some other reason and there's no point in commiting…
  • From the point of view I have, it's because most people seem to think that they're absolutely perfect when playing the game, and that the reason they do bad is because of powerful perks, items, or add ons. Powerful perks, items, add ons, etc. do exist, and they can easily turn the tide of a match, however when someone is…
  • I love the clauds that still hide like it’s 2018 DBD, or the players that assume the killer has absolutely no object perminance.
  • A big reason is copyright. Most characters simply can’t have skins added because they just aren’t allowed to in the first place.
  • They reworked perks such as sabotuer to prevent it from countering specific killers. Using that same logic, I don’t think they’ll add perks which counter a very niche and weak perk. Also, if you were to bring a perk that counters franklin’s, you’d most likely be doing it to make sure you keep your item because you’re…
  • Unfortunately, a Nurse rework isn’t just as easy as pushing a button. If she were to be reworked, she’d need to be reworked in a way that is good for game health, good for balance, and has good counterplay, which is easier said than done. While the community can suggest fixes, it’s not the dev’s job to do exactly what the…
  • Another reason why people DC against Nurse. I bet in those 2 hours of seeing Nurse 4 games you most likely haven’t played against a sinngle trapper, billy, hag, demo, etc. People are just tired of playing against the same killer. Your best bet is to just take a break from the game for now, calm down on some other game, and…
  • I believe the main reason is that it’d most likely take a full character rework to balance her. I personally believe she’s fine base, her add ons are just too powerful for an already powerful ability.
  • Most likely mentioned by other people, but two reasons: Adrenaline, and how it’s a game and not real life. It’s the same reason why after being downed and unhooked you’re injured instead of downed again. If you were to survive being hooked and someone saved you from said hook before you died, and you felt hope that you…
  • Me and my friends decided to do a sandbag with friends type thing like how Otz did it with other DBD youtubers, but more casually. We all had a great time, thought I would make a joke post about it. Edit: For context for people who don't seem to understand, I was a survivor, and it was our mission to sandbag each other as…
  • Yes, two days of an update lets you play lots of both killer and survivor if you want to play dbd! Survivor has felt harder and a little bit more tedius, though I haven't played much of survivor, so I'll get back to you once you stop being rude and actually want to contribute, and once I've had time to play more survivor.
  • Thanks you two for actually trying to help and posting your thoughts instead of being rude for no reason. I'm having the same problem of killer games seeming easier, even when playing as lower tier killers. Since I can't check my MMR I have no clue what it is, but I've had a really high kill rate recently, and the…
  • The timing hasn't been an issue for me. I use it to predict killer attacks instead of looking behind me and holding a neon sign that says I have dead hard. It's worked pretty well.
  • Press e to dodge a hit instead of for distance, be rewarded with more distance than old dead hard
  • Are you for real? That just makes me more worried that I'm really not playing better but being rewarded for doing things I shoudn't.
  • The fact that there's not a single smolface here makes me very disappointed.
  • Not what I meant. Obviously there is context to everything. The idea is that if you're doing something, don't get mad when the other side deals with it in a way you didn't want to. In fact, your comment is exactly what this post is about. It's the fact that the lack of common sense and double standards exist. The reason I…
  • A huge problem with this. As everyone has stated, it should bypass second chance perks, though assuming it didn't, there's no point for the killer to not just sit on the person for a minute. "I downed the last survivor but the game didn't end, so they must have DS / UB / whatever other alphabet of perks to save them". This…
  • Once again, this doesn't make it necessary. If the problem is that there's killers so strong, the devs should try and fix that to make it fair for everyone. Not everyone wants to play Blight or Nurse every game, nor does every killer want to face 4 dead hards every match. If dead hard is the only counter to these killers,…
  • This doesn't mean it's necessary. From your comment, it seems you believe that dead hard making the difference between winning and losing games makes it necessary, though all it seems to me is that you're not good enough to loop without it as a crutch. This doesn't mean it's necessary, it means you rely on it too much.
  • This one is rather weird, as on most killers it won’t do much since survivors don’t usually get off gens until they’re pushed off. And if someone is running to the hook, they’re not going to be trying to do the gen for the time it’s blocked. Overall I think it’s a good buff but still a little situational. Works really well…
  • The entire point of the post was to talk about why they're buffing it, not why they're making it accessible. If you don't care then don't post on a topic. Just move on.
  • I think it's totally fair that they're making it more accessible. However, the point of making something more accessible does not mean you need to buff it. The point of this post was asking why they're buffing it. Making it more accessible is a different topic entirely.
  • To be fair, it took them 3 years before they started doing those. The difference is that killers are constantly getting screwed over by updates and patches. Survivors rarely have to deal with that stuff.
  • Survivors need to be off the hook for a certain period of time without going down for you to get a stack. Even with BT, if a survivor goes down before that timer is up, you won't get the credit of a safe unhook.
  • Hey @jesterkind nice to see you roaming the forums again. I always love reading your responses because they're always so well thought out and put together really well.
  • Obvious troll post is obvious
  • Why didn't I ever think of this. I've been playing the game wrong. My gamer juices just flared up and I'm ready to play every killer, not just bubba, in the most optimal way possible.
  • We have taken into account that you would like to not be tunneled and camped. We did the numbers, gave it some thought, and we have come to our conclusion. No.
  • Makes sense. I haven't played on console since the release of Doc so I wouldn't know how hellish it can be.
  • I do believe that the game would be healthier without boons and possibly hexes, but they'd need to add another objective for survivors to persue as sometimes the only saving grace a killer has is that survivors will spend time booning a totem or looking for a hex instead of doing a gen. Making the only sole objective of…
  • Could you explain or link it please?
  • Seriously? I always thought he would be the one killer on console that was easy to use. Is he hard because you can't control how fast you turn, or is he hard for another reason?
  • Ah, okay, thanks for clearing everything up. I thought it was more the problem of how players used meta perks - a good team using circle of healing is much more of a threat than a bad team that uses circle of healing. Still, you are correct that perks and the MMR system have no corrolation other than higher MMR usually…
  • Trickster is probably the one "precision" killer you don't actually need to be precise with. Other than that, I agree that console should have more accessibilty to control.
  • If the case is that MMR is revealing the meta to be boring / unhealthy for the game, doesn't that just make Circle of Healing a byproduct of MMR giving people more meta based games, or am I reading into this wrong?
  • This post is very well put, but MMR I think is worse for game health than Circle of Healing, if you could quickly address that. Just my two cents.
  • I loved old Freddy, not because he was good, but because he was funny. There was nothing better than playing as Freddy and getting a 4k pre-rework because it showed how chad you were (Or how bad the survivors were, depending on how you look at it).
  • I think their reasoning was it was annoying. I'm pretty sure that's entirely it. Since it's BHVR they nerfed him and didn't give him any buffs to compensate so he's essentially a joke killer at this point. Probably will be for the forseeable future. BHVR is really good at making only bad decisions.
  • If it makes money, no matter how bad it is, they'll definitely look into it.
  • There's so many problems with this post. Firstly, people don't want to have to bring in a specific perk to counter another perk. Secondly, people don't want to have to be forced into a single playstyle to counter a single perk. Thirdly, people don't want to have to play like an ######### to get solid results. People…
  • Unless the conditions are that you're being camped, which means that you can't really be saved anyways in the first place, if you're killing yourself on hook because you don't like a killer or didn't loop for as long as you wanted is just you being a bad sport. Rarely does killing yourself on hook have a logical…
  • Note: I am not saying I’m a god killer and deserve to be getting at least a 3k per game or whatever. I’m in fact saying the opposite, I believe myself to be a very bad killer. I just wish I was pit against people more my level.
  • We found it boys, THE DBD forum user. "We can't nerf keys because something else is in the game" Edit: Yes, while keys do help prevent things like noed, bloodwarden, etc. the hatch spawning at 5 gens only or 1 person remaining would still counter those things. The fact that you're saying killer mains are entitled for…
  • Prioritize whatever you want! Don’t let others choose how you play the game. If others are flaming you for not doing gens then just leave em, they aren’t worth your time. Those guys prioritize winning over fun.
  • Okay, thanks for the reply, I’ll play a bit more and see if that helps. At the very least, whoever is playing against me is probably having a great time stomping me out lol
  • I feel like you don't really get the point either. People DC for a reason. I don't think I've met anyone who hasn't had a valid reason to DC unless they've missed DS, which I do think isn't a valid reason. People will typically DC because they got tunneled, camped, or something (Like a hacker) comes up. I do agree, a DC…
