The servers are not in at state that is at all unsalvageable during the course of a few months. They are pretty decent for most killers/survivors already, its mostly about implementing lag compensation for mechanics that did not already have them at this point. This being in large part killer powers implemented under the…

The problem IMO, is that the maps feel as if they were made for a different game. A game where the intent is 2-4 minute chases. But DBD is a game that requires the killer to get a down every 30-40 or so seconds versus an optimal team.
-
Personally i'd rather face a nurse, at least at the point you know the killer had to work to become good with her.
-
The real question would be why mind breaker does not work on gens past 50% completion.
-
I dont think DCs should be used to judge when to nerf. Look at what happened to old freddy.
-
it allows you to get to another window/pallet despite dead space mid-chase. That does not mean the survivor made a mistake.
-
They will still make games a ton more consistent.
-
I would still argue that it should be disabled on being healed or saving someone on the hook. In the latter case if the DS user also has BT, the killer cannot respond in any way.
-
Rotating each and every killer is pretty rewarding and you learn to face them as well :)
-
Until toolboxes dont break the game, yes.
-
The PTB is live on PC while the patch is going through cert by the console platform holders. Sony/MS/Nintendo wont let you release code onto their platforms without rigorous testing to ensure that the certification requirements are met. These range from ensuring that the player is told not to turn off power while the game…
-
That is actually untrue, the survivor can still escape via the hatch, or if the hatch is closed, wait out 2 minutes at worst. You cannot take the game hostage with traps.
-
If anything make the exposed part innate on all killers, at that point totems become a second primary objective that the game needs. And killers wont be shamed for using the perk anymore.
-
I would suggest making the current ebony mori like the old ivory. 1 kill, but at any time with no hooking required.
-
It already takes forever to kill a survivor. Keep in mind games finish in 5 minutes.....
-
I think at this point it is intentional. Audio was really good last patch, but that turned out to be a "bug".
-
It can only be used to tunnel if the survivor refuses to hide from it.
-
BBQ has 4+ counters, you should use one of them. Its a reward for leaving the hook, or at least it used to be before it got nerfed into oblivion,
-
I personally think that the ebony mori should be like the old school ivory mori. Allowing a kill action on the first down, but only for a single survivor.
-
So you are arguing that the killer should just go AFK once gates are open, provided he has no NoED?
-
In the case of 1-2 gens being completed, the hatch wont be visible until it opens, so at that point it is basically a coin flip if it spawns close to either party. I would argue that the survivor has already failed the primary objective at that point, so it makes sense for the hatch to be slightly in favor of the killer.
-
Could potentially add a third state that makes you scream ala doctor.
-
They have 1 and its tunneling a single survivor until he's dead.
-
But they do?
-
You dont balance by nerfing equally. Survivors are getting nerfs because they were, and still are by a pretty large margin too powerful at high ranks, when played by people with half a brain(Sadly a large part of the community do not fit under this demographic). Keep in mind that there is an 80% escape rate at rank 1.
-
If "any decent perk" is getting nerfs in your opinion, you should probably rely less on broken stuff. MoM is the exact same psychology to face as old DS was. The killer gets his reward for a successful chase taken away, and the survivor gets a reward for messing up. It's not good game design by any measure.
-
Problem is that the killer spends way too much time in a chase for it to be a waste. It would put even more game control in the hand of SWF stacks, which is the last thing this game needs. Saboing would be fine if a wiggle-out at the start of the game did not cost the killer 2-3 gens.
-
BBQ is the most countered perk in the game. Meanwhile MoM has none. If you are going down because of BBQ, you are terrible at the game and deserve to.
-
Did you read the rest of the post? Her brown clothes are a problem, but so are the grey ones. Again, if we could fix the audio, that would be most ideal.
-
If a cosmetics allows you to be better than stealth, then it is P2W. It also makes no sense for Claudette to be vastly better at stealth than every other survivor in the game.
-
It applies to everyone. To my knowledge killers dont have any cosmetics that do this. There is also the entire terror radius thing...
-
Are you actually defending selling advantages in the in-game store? If there is even a slight doubt as to if a cosmetic grants an advantage, it should not be in the store, period.
-
Most of the addons are already pretty long duration, and you would be unlikely to recover from exhaustion during a chase regardless. The answer is not to flat out remove exhaustion addons just because exhaustion is now less broken at base.
-
It is no ######### a valid strategy for a Claudette to just press control mid chase to disappear. It would not be a such a big problem is the audio was not constantly broken. But i very much agree with removing her brown/grey clothes, and possibly give a shard compensation to the ones that bought them.
-
If you're so reliant on exhaustion perks, you should work on your own skills. See? it goes both ways.
-
I don't think that streamers should be covered by name and shame protection, since they very much are public figures by nature. But that's just my opinion.
-
It would HAVE to include licensed content for me to consider purchasing it. I also don't like the idea of giving BHVR any sort of excuse to half ass chapter releases.
-
The clown's gas forces a medium vault instead of a fast one, the difference between the two are now minuscule, and the clown is unlikely to be able to capitalize on it.
-
If you pay any sort of attention. You'll notice that opinions that the developers don't agree with usually result in the OP being banned. Just look at the massive amount of red/jailed portraits. It is no secret that the mods are abusive.
-
He was actually nerfed by the medium vault speed up not too long ago.
-
Toolboxes would need a major re-balance for this to be even remotely healthy for the game.
-
Its about as silent as footsteps now. You cannot hear it unless you see it....
-
Killers truly cannot afford a perk slot for every broken item/perk given to the survivors.
-
Meanwhile we have entire killer powers being negated by OoO.
-
A single perk being nerfed does not make enduring OP. If a killer runs Enduring to counter DS, he is giving up one of his 4 perk slots VS 1 of 16 of the survivor perk slots. Enduring's primary purpose was, and still is to disrespect pallets.
-
Just because you dont get to "use" it. It's still forcing the killer to go somewhere else, and maybe it being out of the meta is just a good thing? It really had no place being in the game to begin with.
-
That is what i just said. But i would argue that some sort of sudden death would be a better idea, instead of rewarding the survivor a win, just so that he won't be a douche.
-
It's a consolation prize that rewards cowards leaving teammates for death.
-
Hatch exists to prevent the final survivor from being a dick and take the game hostage. It sucks, and i think there should be another way about this, but until such alternative is implemented, the hatch cannot be removed.
