If the killer is entitled to a free kill just because their power allows them to facecamp? Why is the survivor not instantly killed? Why are they forced to wait out 2 hook stages or kill themselves?
-
I appreciate your replies C3Tooth, you've made a lot of good points 💪
-
My experience as a killer main who plays survivor only for the tome challenges is, the average killer does not play like I do. I run 2 slowdowns max and never tunnel. The vast majority of my games are 3ks where I let the last guy go. I played the new killer for around 4 hours yesterday and got two 1ks. Every other match…
-
It doesn't even matter about finding the weakest looper. Even good survivors are sick to death of being tunneled and will just go next. I really don't blame them.
-
Wow, your solo q survivors actually DO things? Mine just hide in bushes and lockers.
-
Would be nice if my team mates didn't kill themselves on hook 1 minute into the game. Especially when the killer is running full meta and trying really hard to win. Some way to increase the likelihood of getting survivors that actually care about winning. A ranked mode maybe.
-
I'm more excited for the Slipnutz collection
-
Well the problem is multi-faceted, it's not just that "reports do nothing". They do ban people, it just takes a long time. But a bigger issue than this is the ease of obtaining a new account. Many hackers have dozens of accounts waiting to be used that were obtained when DBD was free for a period of time, on the epic games…
-
As many times as it takes? If the survivors are trying to hammer out 1 particular gen, are you saying I'm obligated to let it go? What kind of sense does that make? That's taking all player agency away. That's like saying if a guy scores 8 goals in a hockey game (yeah I'm going there) that he's barred from trying to shoot…
-
I literally just got out of a game where somebody suicided on 1st hook against billy in the first 60 seconds
-
These stats are utterly useless. If you go to nightlight and filter from the singularity patch Made For This is in the top 4 used perks.
-
I'm so glad everything seems to work out for you.
-
MMR calculation needs to change. Right now, the only way to raise mmr for survivors is to escape. Did you loop the killer for 5 minutes in chase? Game doesn't care. Did 3 generators solo while also getting multiple unhooks and full heals? Game doesn't care. Game only cares about the Claudette that hid all game in lockers…
-
Really sucks to hear but thanks for the honesty.
-
My last game I did the first 3 gens entirely on my own. In that time 1 guy was literally crouched walking around the perimeter of the swamp, which I could see him doing periodically with Bond. I had to be the one to save everyone too. The killer found me at the end when I was finishing the last gen (which guess what I did…
-
and the best part. if I don't escape? my mmr goes down. doesn't matter if I do 4 gens solo, doesn't matter if i loop the killer for 10 minutes. and they get to escape, and they get the mmr increase. ######### amazing.
-
People want their game to be fun, if it isn't fun, they're gonna say something about it because they care. You're just negative
-
Stridor was never the problem, it was Spirit that was the problem
-
it depends, I've had games where survivors do absolutely nothing and I finish 3 gens solo before anyone does 1, even if nobody goes down then i have games where the killer gets bodied and all 5 gens finish in 3 minutes supposedly there is matchmaking in this game
-
if you're implying i have multiple accounts, lol no, this is the first time I've even posted here in like what a year or something
-
thats a good build but personal preference i'd swap out pop for a tracking perk. pop is really hit or miss, nothing feels worse than running to a gen with pop active and it gets finished right in your face, which happens a lot. that build has no tracking perks, it would be a bit more well rounded with one
-
Nemesis is only worth playing if you like whipping people through safe pallets and don't care that you're gonna lose the game
-
regarding the clown rework, i'm glad you see that as a positive. but clown is one of my favorite killers, since he came out, and the clown "rework", if you can even call it that, was severely disappointing. it made him more difficult to play (yellow bottles buff survivors for some dumb reason) and barely touched his…
-
hate to be the downer here but people have been saying this since the beta iirc, honestly who knows if the devs will ever make the change, all we ever hear about things like this is a passing comment once a year
-
I mean this has pretty much always been the case for me, if I play 10 games a day at least half of them are ttv lobbies, most of the time though they aren't even streaming and haven't streamed in months
-
I like the other exhaustion perks, aside from Overcome they all require varying levels of planning and/or skill, especially ones like head on
-
Unpopular opinion, billy was boring as hell to play against. Playing against billy every 2 games and literally every time he's running no skill smoothbrain instasaw (killer main here, don't lie, instasaw was so easy anyone could pick up billy and 4k). Yeah he didn't deserve to have the overheat crap added but the saw speed…
-
People on the PTR claimed this would be "the patch that fixed solo survivor". I have hardly noticed that at all. It's a total clown fiesta, even moreso. Of course, my Killer games are all insanely sweaty maximum effort tournament finals level matches. SBMMR just doesn't work at all for me, personally. My killer games were…
-
The system is awful. My killer games are against top tier players. My survivor games are against top tier killers and bottom feeding garbage survivors.
-
I addressed this, if you can't be bothered to read the post I won't be bothered to take you seriously. I actually main killer, so I know there are good survivors out there. I play against VERY sweaty teams when I play killer, they are all incredibly strong in chase, zero wasted time whatsoever and no dicking around.
-
My killer games haven't changed, they were already mostly 2 - 4 man SWF every single game, full meta, 4 gens done at 2 minutes type of games. My survivor games have dramatically worsened. I made a thread about it. The game quality is so so bad, every killer I go against is well over 2k hours and a strong player while all…
-
It's impossible and a product of bad design. Due to BHVR refusing to show MMR in game, I suspect they are using a very awful system that forces good players to play with bad ones. Here's an example. Killer is "5000" MMR. Survivor 1 is "6000" MMR. Now the matchmaking system needs to make adjustments, as the first survivor…
-
Ironic that this statement gets upvotes like it isn't godawful advice, when Cote himself said "go play civilization" and was absolutely massacred by the community for such awful advice, even having to publicly apologize for saying it.
-
You have to understand that as Killer, if you're having "really easy matches" it means the survivors you are playing against are having really hard matches. That's why asymmetrical games like this are a nightmare to balance. And this is exactly what I'm on about.
-
Because BHVR doesn't want anyone to know just how poorly their systems are made. The last game I had, my other 3 team mates had less than 100 hours, I have over 1k, killer had over 2k. Killer was full meta, survivors in some cases didn't even have perks. It's likely some awful system that does this: Killer MMR: 5000…
-
At this point, it's been so many years I highly doubt they will ever so anything significant for Trapper. Maybe, just maybe one day in the next few years he'll get the long asked for +1 trap capacity baseline, but I sincerely doubt they will ever do much more than that. After all, they """reworked""" Billy and all that did…
-
I actually can't take this anymore. This has possibly been the worst experience I've had in DBD, ever. Every single match is a Blight, Spirit, Nurse or Huntress running ruin/undying/pop/x with skins (sign of investment in game) powerful addons and clearly good at the game, all my team mates are shockingly bad. For instance…
-
PC, I haven't had a single game where the game didn't abruptly end to "player was disconnected from host"
-
constant crashing and DCs, game breaking bugs like freddy getting stunned by his fake pallets, typical BHVR patch
-
And why would they? Nobody challenges them to be better. A couple forum posts a day are ignorable. Most people shell out for skins and new chapters and tomes like crazy regardless of how buggy or poor the game's health is. The subreddit for this game is a big fat meme, and these forums are just as hive-mindish. Most people…
-
This is such a freaking yikes thought process I'm just gonna nope out of this thread.
-
"It's a casual game" is not an argument. And this isn't a casual game, regardless of how you feel about it. It's a team based asymmetrical competitive game with ranked matchmaking. Not Stardew Valley. Just because it doesn't have a 50 million dollar esports industry doesn't mean it's a casual game.
-
Hopefully Haddonfield. I say that, but they'll probably add a ton of god windows with mandatory breakable walls like every other exciting rework.
-
You're right but what I'm wondering is why someone with 1000 hours in another game is pretty good regardless of rank, but 1000 hours in this game there's still a 75% chance the player is worse than a bot.
-
Because, much like other parts of this game, it uses a 5 year old outdated system that doesn't work for the current version of the game. When you had 6 Killers it was fine. But now we have approximately 457 Killers and the devs just won't make any adjustments. I'm sure we'll get some sort of "soon" response in the next…
-
This, lack of communication doesn't cause a 600 hour survivor main to wander aimlessly for the first 3 minutes of the match.
-
I believe it makes you immune to the blind but not the stun.
-
1 or 2 hits PER MATCH? Jesus that would be nice. I get a zombie hit once maybe every 7 to 8 matches.
-
No offense but I check for those perks and I haven't seen anyone use those at red ranks in months.
-
Another epic post van. I apologize, clearly I should be asking for reasonable changes such as your amazing recommendation to buff Dead Hard and nerf killers to 105% movement speed.
