The criteria is interesting, but if you don’t have them you’re just out of luck and have to wait till it randomly shows up, which is especially frustrating for a timed event
-
I’m not against cross play to bolster the ranks but certain killers will have an advantage on PC over their PS4 counterparts so may just get some stronger killers and PS4 Killer leaderboards will likely drop below them
-
If there isn’t a chance I can get you such as heavy camping then I’m not going to try. Or if I’m on the opposite side of the map, especially if the hatch or open door is by me, then I might wander over to see if I can get to you if you’re a full hook. I also don’t expect to be rescued from a heavy camper. The goal is for…

I don’t get how tunneling is toxic. Before I came to this forum I did it and still do it. Not out of animosity or grudge or anything. Getting another hook on a survivor will rarely be less beneficial than chasing a different survivor likely at full health. Unless they are good at kiting a killer then it may not be worth…

It’s like people can’t handle a mute button in these comments. Optional chat wouldn’t hurt anyone though would give an edge to some survivors if they decide to use it. I enjoy solo but I also enjoyed this game a lot with friends before they stopped playing. Would be nice to More easily make more already in the game. Chat…

Just remember that there is the trophy for all survivors leaving through the hatch at the same time. So whatever you change about them can’t screw that up as it requires keys
-
It was the tall reeds in backwater swamp to the right of one of the exit doors
-
I’ve looked up the timing and saved the video to count. I was looking at him easily long enough to drop his shroud, but it didn’t drop even if I accounted for add ons extending it.
-
I feel like there has to be a bug on Ghostface. I was running toward the doors and he was standing in tall grass so I didn’t quite see him until I was right on top of him. No reveal and I had time to crouch and try to walk away but I’m sure he heard me and just turned around and swung, but until he swung there was no…
-
I find it more fun because of the survival tension that builds compared to the hunting of a killer
-
I don’t know about high rank play but keys are not easy to come by. After a long time I still haven’t gotten more than 2 or 3 add ons for them. Hamstringing them by permanently closing the hatch especially when the killer has almost free reign to find it and its tendency to teleport would make the item a fairly poor…

Thank you that helps a lot. Any suggestions for the classic killers? I’m working on the platinum before branching to the DLC
-
Thank you. That’s almost as bad as exposed then. To get merciless we now have to show mercy.
-
Yah after this I’m expecting Nurse to be the hardest part of the platinum if even possible
-
I always worry these big nerfs are eventually going to nerf the trophies out of reach for most. I’m still working on trapper out of the original cast
-
Really? I thought that revealed your location. That’s a stupid name for that effect. Explains a lot of other situations though
-
Free to play no longer means subscription or no subscription. Subscription is now subscription based and free to play is no upfront charge to play the game. So: wow is subscription based and fortnight is free to play. Buying the game with no charge beyond the console cost for multiplayer is just normal
-
So many of you act like the last survivor knows where the hatch is. Vast majority of the time I can’t find it. It’s far from a free win. Not only does the killer already make a decent profit off the three kills it is preventable and the killer has free reign to keep an eye out for the hatch while survivors risk their lives…
-
What’s wrong with going for the unhook right away? I’ve found killers won’t expect it if you’re sneaky enough. Unless you mean when you're just staring at them. Also what’s your definition of constantly. I usually try to juke and hide but if I can’t lose you I’m left no choice but to use pallets to live.
-
I’ve only had connection based issues
-
With paid dlc and prior paid game I hate that there are microtransactions. The cells are connected to cosmetics so that doesn’t bother me too much though I feel shards are adjusted according to the microtransaction economy instead of a fair grind.
-
Just rampant disconnects for me and Long survivor que times which has been screwing up my trophies. Missed it twice now from the last survivor dcing
-
Definitely pumpkinhead
-
If the killer doesn’t have the bandwidth to maintain his connection to that many people yes it is. Most games where the lag is the worst I get messages from the killer apologizing. Many know their internet sucks
-
Isn’t the point of this to encourage grabbing the unhooker instead of hitting the unhooked?
-
This is how we introduce people into the game. We lose often because of that. I can see the frustration with high tier teams for killers but without a healthy killer population, that opt out would make very difficult, we would never get people to play much less play solo and that kills the game’s growth. But matching is…
-
I guess I can kind of understand. The problem is as a survivor your escape options are tied to getting at least 2 generators and the longer the match goes on the more likely you are to lose. My goal will always be to get two generators done as fast as possible. With no hex there is no reason to do totems. Since sabotaged…
-
The devs tried that first and it was completely unbalanced and didn’t let the survivors hide
-
Probably knew he was going to lose so he took his pound of flesh. Slashing on the hook is toxic. Making it impossible to take you off the hook by staying right there isnt
-
Short attention spans. I’m also a stealth player
-
If you’re getting camped by killing yourself you give less time for your fellow survivors so yes it is lack of maturity and selfishness. Also what’s you’re definition of bad teammate? All these reasons are petty
-
Depends on the context. If the difference like I said is a second I could care less. Actively killing yourself has the exact same effect therefore they are equally bad to me. DCing while the killer is carrying you is worse. Like I said how is that a positive they are equally bad in this situation.
-
Perk choices dont bother only matching the perkful with the perkless
-
I think it’s entirely perk dependent. Low level but high ran survivors barely have a chance against high tier killers. Communication among survivors makes them even stronger. But killers against lone survivors have a huge advantage. So it’s very dependent. A communicating team of high tier survivors against a high tier…
-
@Master how is that positive? It’s a difference of a second or two. @xmenfanatic it was purposeful. Attempt to escape ASAP till struggle then immediate death from a purple perk person.
-
@chemical_reject ok. Good to know. Not helpful if you’re damaged but good to know
-
So you can be grabbed from the hatch is what you’re saying?
-
@flamestandish that is a terrible strategy the killer won’t keep chasing someone else if there even is someone else. They will go for the one hit down and guaranteed second stage hook. Especially if it’s a nurse.
-
@Judgement yep pretty much lol but even closer
-
@Tsulan yes they try to lose the killer by using me as bait or unhook me to let me get hit again so they can get away
-
@DarkWo1f997 can’t loop without the terrain to do it. I had no chance with my area of the map
-
@Master this wasn’t across the map. This only happened once so I’m laughing at it now but it was spawn next to a generator that had no over and a second and a half the killer turned the corner next to me clearly just starting his patrolling at the closest generator. I hadn’t even registered my surroundings or moved more…
-
@Mister_Holdout then you’re just selfish in a team game. And going out of your way to do so
-
In other games it is used as psychological strategy in this one it’s just to be a jerk
-
@Mister_Holdout well then I hope they/you enjoyed losing the game because that’s what keeps happening afterwards
