Never. Bringing a hex perk is a gamble, it is rare that the totem lasts the majority of the game. Myself has started next to a burning totem plenty of times amd I feel giddy as hell, so it would be a pretty twofaced thing to dc when it happens to me. But same, been having people dc for that same reason many times.

It happened to me too, but this person really didnt know why it happened. Had to walk into my own trap to break the whole thing and drop her, tried several times. Thought it was a bug and not an exploit, but it sure sounds like it from what you say.
