You don’t understand, once you become more skilled and start reaching the skill ceiling in this game a very clear meta develops, ruin or pop to slow down generator speed, killer powers that cut down chases. Once you reach that level there’s no point in intentionally gimping yourself with inferior perks if you’re playing to…
-
Yeah it’s still true.
-
Freddy, I always do well with him especially after the amazing rework. Leatherface, with decent add ons I can actually land some chainsaw hits. Ghostface, I like his stealth and ability to one shot The Clown, his power is really great for cutting down chases. The Plague, with good add ons is scary and I like her design.
-
I’ll gladly give up moris to get rid of keys.
-
That’s a definition that’s looser than my ex.
-
Pissing players off de-facto gives you an advantage. Your statement is contradictory.
-
That’s not toxic, if you can piss off your opponent and get them tilted you have a big advantage, goes for any PvP game. The only thing I’d consider “toxic” is sending hate mail and death threats after a match and false reporting people. It’s a super overused term that needs to die.
-
Yeah how dare people try to win :P Trust me I’d rather use perks other than ruin but against good survivors it’s basically a required perk. There’s no reason NOT to run a perk to slow down generators given that it’s survivors only objective.
-
Why do people find Clown bad? His only weakness is map pressure, he cuts down chases really well.
-
Iron Will, Urban Evasion, lightweight, and diversion. Fun sneaky/juking build.
-
I find survivors far more annoying than any killer lol, regardless of which I’m playing.
-
The lore is badly written and even has typos in it and the design isn’t particularly exciting, just a dude/girl with a knife.
-
That’s because breaking pallets fast isn’t really that strong anyways. If you just go around breaking pallets all game you will lose to good survivors. It’s much smarter to mindgame whenever possible and only breaking the really strong ones.
-
I get smacked with DS when I don’t tunnel and simply am just downing people quick lol.
-
I always use Sloppy Butcher on Huntress since it procs on hatchets.
-
Neither, I use Sloppy Butcher, STBFL, Ruin, and BBQ. Never found bamboozle necessary since most windows can be mindgamed.
-
Clown is very good, literally his only weakness is map pressure but his ability to cut chases short already puts him above much of the cast.
-
It should play when the bear trap’s about to kill you.
-
His point is that it doesn’t matter whether a perk is “no skill” or not because the majority of perks in the game take “no skill”
-
I’d rather play against nurse with any add ons than a good Huntress with Iridescent Head any day.
-
I think this was BHVRS reasoning giving Adam Diversion and releasing him with the Spirit.
-
There’s no downvote anymore but A for effort bud. Way to take a stand against those mean killers /s.
-
I know, but If it was really such an amazing perk it would be run more.
-
How dare a mid tier m1 killer have a strong build.
-
How there can be so much complaining about a HEX perk that can be denied before it even has a chance to activate is beyond me. Why complain about a perk that can easily be destroyed? You can easily do it as a solo player. NOED has already been nerfed multiple times, stahp whining.
-
LOL, that’s a good joke. It doesn’t matter how “fair” you play, salty survivors will D/C against you. You can have a would-be Merciless victory turned into a Ruthless because people D/C’d. It’d be just as lame if I disconnect against survivors for using strong loop spots and me thinking they “play like an a-hole”. If…
-
If people like the effect of Kindred so much then just run Kindred. It’s only one slot and it’s fairly common. I’d rather them make some version of borrowed time base kit, since it’s a required perk to attempt rescues against face campers.
-
Hemorrhage is just..not threatening or useful at all. Blindness needs a buff as well, basically useless against good survivors and SWF especially.
-
It’s clearly Ash Williams and anyone who says otherwise is just wrong.
-
I would kill for a Resident Evil chapter with Tyrant and characters like Leon, Claire, Jill, Chris. Make a deal with capcom BHVR plz.
-
I vote YES for crossplay, especially between PS4 and Xbox One.
-
This is why I love Ghostface with I’m all ears, just use Night Shroud in a chase and completely trivialize jungle gyms.
-
I typically don’t BM like smacking on the hook or Teabagging. Everything else is fair game.
-
I could post a video of me 4king rank 1 SWF survivors with Freddy or Leatherface, doesn’t mean these killers are top tier, or that it’s a common occurence. This thread is cherry picking at its finest.
-
Why do you think this? What’s so poorly designed about Rancor? It’s strong but there’s also drawbacks, can’t get more balanced than that. I think perks that help endgame plays for both sides are good for the game, they add variety and give second chances. This game would get old quick without these perks or endgame plays…
-
If only it were that simple at high ranks against good survivors. It’s not like generators are hard to complete even while being pressured. I don’t agree with nerfing Adrenaline though, since stuff like NOED, Rancor, and Blood Warden counter it anyways. But framing it as a “reward for playing well” is a bit silly. It’s a…
-
You obviously use your exhaustion perks as a crutch if this really bothers you so much. Honestly git gud.
-
I’m a good survivor and I use Self Care usually, I’m not going to waste time trying to get a random player to heal me. That takes more time than just healing myself. And I’d rather bring a toolbox or Flashlight than a medkit most matches. If I’m SWF then I can forgo SC.
-
Legion is the lamest design in a game, I don’t know who at BHVR thought a bunch of edgy teenagers would make for a good killer. It’s just a dumb idea. And the design is basically just “dude with a knife”. ZzZzZ
-
Watching Tru3talents streams helped me get better at mindgaming as killer.
-
Balanced Landing more skillful than Dead Hard? Nah chief. That’s the easiest exhaustion perk besides Adrenaline. I’ll say Iron Will, pulling off jukes and losing the killer mid chase with it is super satisfying and takes some skill to master.
-
At high ranks gens are going to get completed no matter how much you pressure them as killer, that’s just the reality of facing skilled survivors. Do some survivors really think completing all 5 gens means they get a free escape and if they die after that they died to a bad killer? I must be a terrible killer then. Granted…
-
Not sure about terror radius but there are WAY too many aura reading perks on both sides, it’s kind of absurd.
-
Thanks for the new phone wallpaper!
-
Absolutely ridiculous trophy, downing someone that far away on console is already difficult but 100 times? With no way to track its progress? You basically have to farm to have any hope of getting it.
-
Wouldn’t that make Rancor kind of redundant?
-
Pick one? Lolwut? It’s a troll perk, that’s the whole point of it. They waste a little bit of time picking items but it wont work as well against SWF, they’ll just have their friend pick it up for them while you’re busy chasing. It’s a fun perk but hardly meta or gamechanging.
-
Wouldn’t even be worth using then, may as well hook them at that point.
-
I like Franklin’s Demise man, it can be a good time waster sometimes but it hardly “counters items” otherwise it would be a meta perk and would be used more. But sure, I’ll go drop killer now cause you said so.
-
Sometimes you just have to play whoever you like, even if they happen to be low tier. Just means you have to work a little harder.
