Survivors: "4 slowdown is so boring" BHVR nerfs all the slowdown so killers start running aura perks and BHVR nerfs distortion so said perks are actually useable Survivors: "nooooo not like that"
-
Jack needs to say "you will always remember the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow" when he opens the gate.
-
Nurse is my most hated killer but of these I would say Myers because they always either have tombstone or mirror and a map offering so facing Myers always feels very gimmicky to me.
-
I'm convinced a meteor will hit the earth if we don't nerf pig occasionally and BHVR is saving us all by doing so. It's the only explanation. Also there should be a leave alone option.
-
I feel like Clown gets slept on in a lot of these. He's literally what everyone hated about Skull Merchant in the massive speed differentials he creates. His 4v1 isn't the best but you don't loop a clown, you predrop the entire map until he catches you so if you're on a map with a lower pallet count good luck if you don't…

I've been on forums where mods have to approve the thread before it's actually visible. Just a thought.
-
I can't believe you would doom us all like that.
-
Nobody tell them about Chucky.
-
I've actively tried to play nice in the past and just gotten toxicity for my trouble. So now I'm not playing with the intention of being toxic but I will slug and tunnel if I think it will get me the 4k, some people don't care some people lose their minds either way I'm just trying to play the best game I can there's no…
-
Oh nice the PS2 port released.
-
Nurse continuing to dodge nerfs like she's Neo from the matrix.
-
Double posted for some reason
-
Meh So like WoO is a good perk I think the it's for beginners only argument is extremely silly. Knowing where the pallets and windows are to chain together is good information to have. At the same time I don't think it's nerf worthy. To say that it is is to suggest optimal looping is uncounterable and if you're good at…
-
Lol I wasn't aware I needed to. For the record I don't think any survivor perks stick out to me as needing a nerf at the moment and I also commented on a thread a few days ago that WGLF/MfT is fine and nowhere near as bad as Buckle Up/FtP so it's like very weird you put the past 24 hour stipulation there.
-
Nah Buckle Up FTP was incredibly dumb because it was instant and you couldn't really react to it. For WGLF MfT to work that means you slugged which while viable should have risks.
-
I think we should hide the survivors during the game too, and the killer....and the map. DBD will now take place in an entirely blue/grey skybox where everyone is invisible.
-
Okay and I'm saying as someone who mains the character and is very aware the average survivor is clueless against her she sucks lol and most other Hag mains would agree with me. Just because she can pub stomp doesn't make her good, most killers can stomp in pubs. If you actually play against good survivors it is a…
-
This isn't really true unless you're against soloQ survivors. If against a SWF or really good soloQ players all it takes is one person following you around wiping all your traps to ruin your game. Not to mention it is entirely possible to trigger a trap and get out of range for a hit rather consistently. Hag really only…
-
I suppose I fall into the skill expression camp but in a different way from what you're describing. It's why despite not being very popular I love killers like Singularity, Twins, Pinhead because the level of macro knowledge needed to play those characters well is enjoyable to me on both sides and will forever be more…
-
I main Lara because I like her tribal outfits, I wish we got more primitive looking outfits for survivors instead of all of them looking like a neon sign.
-
128 but I took a break when the ptb changes first got announced and have only played like 2 games since.
-
A lot of killers don't even use aura perks they've only increased recently due to the nerf is slowdown perks. Also what survivor nerfs? Survivor has only been getting buffs recently. But no one perk is slightly worse and it's the end of the world, give me a break.
-
I'm mostly good with this honestly but the thing I have a problem with is she should not be slowed down when deploying a drone because the way the haste works now rewards players for learning how to laser tag except no it doesn't because the haste just cancels the debuff instead of properly rewarding the killer. I think if…
-
I don't know why but survivors melting down when they have to earn their perk is so funny to me. You still start with the two tokens the perk is still good and will still get 1-2 more tokens over the course of the game or 3 tokens if you're actually good at chase. I don't know what people are crying about you just don't…
-
NGL I think part of it is BHVR knows their playerbase skews under 18+ so they would never do anything that wasn't actually PG13.
-
It's decent just in terms of wasting the survivor's time and it gets even better if you can kill a survivor that knows where a lit pentimento is. It's probably the only reason hexes are at all viable at the moment.
-
It's selfish to do gens? Idk if you know but doing gens is how you escape and the "selfless" player following the killer around with a flashlight is probably sabotaging their entire team by not being time efficient.
-
This is just plain unethical by BHVR, characters get nerfed all the time that's fine but activity saying "we're gonna make this character people paid for and has cosmetics people paid for purposefully awful and just leave them like that for a year or more" is a very different thing and I feel like people should now need to…
-
I'm convinced it's mostly just 20 to 30 really loud people on Twitter. Haddie was never popular and she never will be, she actually has some decent cosmetics people just don't like the character.
-
And welcome to why the SM changes are so terrible because now survivors think if they ask for it enough they can get every killer completely neutered. I don't even like chucky but nobody deserves what SM is going through right now. 10 second cooldown is a little aggressive but I don't think Chucky actually needs any…
-
I am absolutely expecting massive nerfs for both of them. BHVR have shown they're willing to dumpster killers if survivors complain enough and both Plague and Cenobite are considered pub stompers. I take small solace in the fact plague might finally get chase music though.
-
I'm convinced survivors just don't want killers to have perks. They already gutted slowdown are you really going to complain about perks that are only oppressive if you don't know how to loop? This sounds like a skill issue.
-
I'd be happy if they figured out a way to give us a velociraptor.
-
Yeah I think it sets an extremely bad precedent that BHVR is okay completely dumpstering killers until they feel like working on them again. Like for BHVR this is just one killer out of a few dozen so they don't care but for the players this is their main that got trashed until further notice and now they have to find a…
-
Idk what twitch chat this is from but this was posted on Reddit today so the dumpstering of Skull Merchant seems to be intentional.
-
Honestly with the direction BHVR is going with recent changes I'd expect nerfs tbh.
-
Having rules doesn't automatically make a character lawful. Generally lawful characters create laws and rules to shape a society they want to create and rule over. The entity's rules more create a natural law for the realm and all of it is done so the entity can get a better meal. The fact that it seems to mostly be…
-
Neutral Evil, it only cares about consuming. It clearly causes suffering purposefully so it can feed off it but I don't think it really cares about ruling or causing chaos. It mostly acts like a very intelligent animal tbh.
-
I do think it's very funny when survivors complain about me tunneling when I want to go for the unhooker but the recently unhooked person insists on body blocking me because they just have to get use out of basekit BT or DS. At that point of course I'm going to tunnel because the injured person is now more vulnerable but…
-
I can't punish survivors for being greedy with gens which doesn't seem like good design from my own play as killer and what I'm seeing playing survivor this has decreased camping but increased tunneling.
-
Idk if Trapper who's literally just a guy can defy the entity for ages who knows how long Alucard would have been able to do it for. From a lore perspective I get why just taking all of Alucard's powers and throwing them in with the rest of the survivors was easier for the entity to do.
-
I've played this kinda build on twins a few times and it does seem effective but it's a lot of micromanaging slugs and it just turns into whack-a-mole after a while so I don't find it that fun. I do think if you have the patience however it could very well be meta just unpopular do to how much work the build is. To hear…
-
Honestly even if it just made you do hexes and blessing 10% faster BEFORE it was lit it would be miles better if still niche. They literally put out the worst possible version of this perk.
-
It's hard to tell of they're just playing to the stereotype or if the stereotype was always correct.
-
Maps aren't balanced though. They were balanced but BHVR keeps touching them and they broke again. A lot of maps either have too many pallets or not enough and so e of the new jungle gyms are very questionable.
-
Yeah Haddonfield is the mirror version of Ormond where it was kinda balanced even if frustrating for both sides but now it's just one big dead zone and playing survivor sucks on that map. I'm very scared for the Swamp rework with what they've been doing with maps recently. Greenville especially is an abomination with the…
-
Ask an executioner main if they struggle with tunneling at all. There isn't really a fix to this, 4v1 is survivor sided but 3v1 is killer sided but slow the game down so killers could spread hooks if they wanted and they most likely won't. Maybe if the game was centered around torturing the survivors instead of killing…

Dredge feels a lot smoother to play and locked lockers aren't nearly as frustrating as they used to be. Unfortunately you're still entirely map dependent with lockers with a middle of the road antiloop power. I don't think they move in the tier list at all but if you enjoy Dredge they're even more enjoyable now.
