At this point it's a detriment to their career to stay at BHVR. Imagine trying to get another job and having 3 years experience working there, they'll think you don't know how to code anything.
-
It's funny, dbd is the only game I can think of where people actually say this. The game is so unbalanced that it's an unwritten rule to play "fairly". Imagine saying this in Counter-Strike. "######### why are you buying AKs, this isn't a scrim, that's not fun for the CTs!!!"
-
outstanding post
-
Jason can literally teleport to you and insta kill you, without you being able to do anything. And you say that's balanced, more than DBD where everyone complains about spirit? lol F13 is only good for role playing or messing around because of the local mic comms.

Why does Dwight look like he's made out of bugs?
-
We asked almost if there was a reason for it... and he said.. YES... THERE IS A REASON...
-
Just make a bug that crashes the game if the resolution is too wide on windowed mode. Pretty easy, bugs are created every patch
-
No, these are what's called crutches or training wheels. Once you finally git good, you won't have any perks because only noobs need them. You'll stop using your killer's power, because it's unethical to use anything other than M1. Real killers can 4k with only melee, and NO LUNGING. You'll also be playing…

no
-
Yeah now it's going to change the meta for you to attack early, instead of hoping for a grab
-
I mean just by virtue of posting about it instead of just playing a different game says something.
-
You're addicted, which is why it feels like that. It's okay to take a break or even never play the game again. It's just a game, and if you're not having fun with it then find something better to do with your time!
-
Midwich 2.0... what a truly awful idea to port a map 1 for 1 from a completely different game. The maze-like structure of the building was built specifically for RE, not DBD. You can get lost in that game and it's okay, because there's no time limit going on like with DBD. Outside of specific events you're not constantly…
-
She exists like that because the fix for her won't be easy, and that's going to take about 6 months of work in BHVR time. And that won't get them any $... so they just ignore it like all the other glaring issues
-
https://youtu.be/ez5gHGkPGVI?t=427 I never noticed it myself to be honest
-
I like making deathslingers miss their shots and kicking the twins baby in the face. I'm not sure why so many struggle to wrap their head around the concept that some things can be fun for some people but not for others..
-
Remove them. Instead think of the game without them and ask "should keys be introduced?" I'd say no. If you need to keep em.. remove the hatch opening function and replace them with with Cursed Lamps, Voodoo Dolls, or Emblems of the Entity or some kind of magical trinket that makes sense in-universe. The aura reading with…

DRAGGING SURVIVORS WITH MY ROOTY TOOTY POINT-AND-SHOOTY YEEEEE HAWWWW

Every time I think BHVR couldn't embarrass themselves more, they prove me wrong
-
He went to the local McDonalds to cool off.. only to see 3 people sitting together and talking. NOT AGAIN!! he shouted, NO MORE SWIFFS!!! as he threw his lukewarm burger in the direction of the group, but it only travelled a few feet.
-
You can only be scared by the same thing so many times. I remember one of my first matches was against a trapper with Distressing and I nearly ######### my pants when we were trying to escape
-
It's a brilliant map.. FOR ANOTHER GAME! The whole point of it being like a maze is to induce paranoia in the player playing Resident Evil and scare them with zombies lurking around the corner. DBD is a completely different and unique game, porting a map 1:1 is about the dumbest/laziest thing you could possibly do. Christ…

You get to a pallet and spirit is there. Even if you KNEW she was phasing, what do you do? Jump over or not? It's a 50/50 because you have no clue what to do. If you're injured you're dead, if you're uninjured then you can get lucky even against a good spirit. It's really dumb.
-
You dash when you dead hard.. you don't just walk really fast. It makes sense because you're not touching the ground with your feet
-
Rank tiers should have more weight - 3 red ranks and 1 brown rank 20 should only be facing red rank killers.
-
Always has been
-
Another clownisking thread destroyed.
-
How about just double the amount of BP everyone gets? Or remove tiers? and then remove the BP aspect of both perks. Otherwise everyone would have to run them to deal with the stupid grind
-
You're getting caught up in the semantics. There is counterplay to spirit - doing 50/50 guesses, running Iron Will + Lucky Break, hoping the sound bugs out and you can sneak around... but that's about it. It's just about the 50/50 guesses. That's not fun. You can juke every killer by fake vaulting or fake dropping pallets…

It's exactly what they said they were collecting. MMR is a terrible idea because the game is very unbalanced and has extreme variance, and there's not even a "win" or "lose" set in place.
-
That's the excuse they gave last time. Despite "collecting data" for ALMOST A YEAR They just can't admit that they don't know how to code it properly. Which is fine, because MMR is a terrible idea
-
Spirit is actually a lot of fun to play. I wish they'd nerf her phasing so people wouldn't just suicide/dc when I play as her.
-
People just run to the nearest loop or pallet... which sometimes are nearby gens. Instead of sticking around and crying at the survivor for 'bringing him to you', just go to another gen. Not everyone has bond so how would they know where everyone and everything is?
-
Why are you shocked you're bored with a game after playing for 1100 hours? Sounds like any enjoyment of just playing the game is gone and now you only care about ranking up... which of course is going to tilt you in a game where you need to rely on teammates.
-
Being on a hook needs to be more interactive. Camping is a valid (and bad) strategy that you just can't get around. The problem with being tunneled or camped is that it's [BAD WORD] boring. There's literally nothing that you can do and nothing that you're doing.. just sitting there waiting for a timer to go down. Maybe…
-
The basement is iconic, ######### are you talking about
-
He can end it considerably faster. The first hit is practically guaranteed, and you can even get there faster when you see the survivor. The 2nd hit is just like the tricksters, but you're never tempted to get out your knives and slow down, just focus on finishing the chase
-
Legion can easily get the first hit on multiple survivors, and with 115% ms he can end chases faster. Trickster is literally a 110% ms killer 90% of the time
-
Sure, building towards something is also addicting. But there's a difference between slowly unlocking everything and KOREAN MMORPG LEVELS OF GRINDING.
-
Yeah then people would only play the game if they wanted to have fun... shudder They're horribly out of touch
-
Deathslinger's rifle echo on indoor maps
-
He's by far the worst killer in DBD, and it's not even close. Just watch gameplay of top tier players and imagine they just M1'd instead of using knives.. 9.5/10 times it's better to just hit them and stop wasting time. He needs to throw knives without spread/recoil and literally TWICE AS FAST and he'll be fun to play and…
-
Because the balance dev(s) plays a few games and calls it a day. They don't start out at rank 20 trying to get to rank 1, they just shrug and say "well that sucked but i won't be camped next game"
-
Only nightmares. I'm in a cold dark hallway, running. Just running as fast as I can and I can tell he's close. Can't figure out where to go but I'm going as fast as I can. Finally I see him. He's crouching repeatedly and clicking his flashlight before he leaves into the darkness. I woke up with a cold sweat and an erection…
-
Possibly, but why? Most of my reasoning comes from how proud they were of recreating the 'classic map' nearly identically
-
It's very awesome looking, but it was meticulously designed for Resident Evil.. not Dead by Daylight. Why would you copy it 1 for 1 when the game is completely different? Sure it's cool, but the map sucks. They could've been creative with merging the setting/atmosphere of RE and a proper map of DBD. Then again the devs…
-
First time I have ever heard a game dev say a game mechanic is "toxic" What the hell are they even talking about?
-
Frankly it's one of the worst things ever. A concept ripped off from Fela Kuti (but stripped of it's politcal punch) and sung by a dying ostrich.
-
Don't you guys remember when Tru3 got hacked and was banned for 72 hours? So you had to deactivate the whole disconnect penalty because people in the community could just ban whoever they want? You don't see this happening again with a community led auto-ban system? LMFAO
