I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and was a defender of MMR in the initial planning phases and they proved me wrong there so unless some of the massively awful situations that could arise from this PTB are addressed (which we won't know until it goes live) I'm gonna be incredibly skeptical of BHVRs base changes.…

You are aware the the cross play icon will appear for anyone in a different platform that you right? So if you play in Xbox then anyone on Stadia, Switch, Playstation, Steam, and Epic will have the cross play icon. Similarly I play on Steam and anyone on Stadia, Switch, Epic, Xbox, and Playstation have the icon. Many of…

My bloodweb spending idea, get rid of the ramp up and animation, just let me click it with my mouse tor tap the button on my controller to buy it. I like having agency on what I buy and when, just the animation and how long it all takes us so tedious whereas a tap or click per item would go so much faster. Or a select…

Trapper-Os, just a big ol bowl of honey glazed bear traps.

I must be the "luckiest" survivor ever cause out of 15+ games against Wesker I've only see two grabs in total that didn't damage but inflicted the virus. In fact, I haven't seen more than a 2E against him and that was only one game. And every time one has had an opening to dash at me he's grabbed and damaged or downed me.
-
Interesting, I must be "lucky" going up against unbugged Weskers then.
-
I don't know how people are having this problem, I'm hit by every dash made in my general direction unless I drop a pallet in time. Have the people getting "skill issued" checked their ping? They might just be getting BHVR'd or Dedicated instead
-
Nemesis, Wesker has mobility and his hindered virus that makes playing against him in solo feel as tedious as Legion or Plague. At least Nemesis feels better in the 1v1 and you can have more engagement other than run as far as possible while staring behind you to loop a pallet once before repeating the process.
-
I find him very unfun to play against. If he doesn't stomp the team he just camps and tunnels like the game owes him money if he doesn't secure at least one kill. He's not as tedious as Legion but with his virus and speed reseting is a chore and a half on top of actual objectives
-
Needs a graphics overhaul but for the most part they're fairly balanced, Boat leaning killer sided and Pantry leaning survivor sided. The biggest problem is they're buggy maps, I'll get hit by pallets I'm not within striking range of, Nemesis whip can't really hit at any angles other than straight on at windows and…
-
Taking your ball and going home because you're losing mind game. That could be as far back as any game using a ball/other necessary equipment is required.
-
Since they lost the license the Stranger Things perks became general perks like We'll Make It, Spine Chill, Hope, Dark Sense, etc. Kinda annoying for anyone who had the content before but it made it so new players could still get those perks so there isn't any "disadvantage" just because someone started playing after ST…
-
When I booted the game up tonight survivor was at 100% and then after playing a killer match for daily and spending 1.5mil BP it was 25% when I queued up as survivor
-
Congrats but some of us have lives outside of a videogame that take up our time. Just think about it this way, if it was even halved you'd already have it done by now and every other map specific achievement requires the completion of the "main building" gen and in most cases escaping. If they had made it "Escape RCPD 20…
-
I'm still waiting on Artist. Seems kinda odd they haven't added any since Claire and Chris
-
Yep, and the crappy part is you don't know which one burned it so you can't really make sure the person going for it is the one actually making progress unless you completely throw the game.
-
If it was farmable it wouldn't be so bad, like the three blink nurse gen grab (meme around until survivors decide to farm anf meme with you) or Huntress down 20 survivors from 24+ meters away (I used MYC and just farmed unhooks for a few games) Totally agree, I don't want to play on that map much, even after the rework it…
-
I play on PC with a controller and have it hooked up to my TV in the living room. I've tried M+KB and yeah it's nice to have the better button mapping and a snappier camera control it's really no different to me. As far as visuals or performance all I know is the Switch is rough af.
-
It infuriates me too but there are times I don't ready up, like quickly getting up to grab a drink or take a quick leak. Best advice I can give is have your phone handy and watch some videos or scroll through socials for that minute and try not to let it bother ya.
-
If you're fumbling left trigger and and left bumper mid chase then you may want to consider a different controller with buttons further apart or a grip over the controller that gives your fingers more room to move from one to the other. I play with a 360 controller on PC and have never accidentally crouched when I meant to…
-
While both are generally toxic in my games I'd have to go with Neas because her cosmetics are so varied and fun to look at, while Steve has one good cosmetic: Scoops Ahoy
-
My advice is to wait until grade reset and do it then. At Ash you basically just need to 4k for Merciless and make sure you aren't camping too much. Personally I think they should rework "Merciless" to appear when you get a 4k instead of having it tied to the emblem system. It would save them having to change the actual…
-
It's just ego, try not to take it to heart. When people are pointed out anything they did objectively wrong, e.g. not rescuing someone on 2nd hook while the killer is distracted or rushing the unhook before the killer can leave, they'll get defensive because their ego won't allow them to admit that they ######### up. In…
-
They made a perk that did what they tested a while back, pausing the hook timer, and people abused it in PTB just like they had abused it last time it was tested years ago as a basekit change. "Those who forget the past..." and all that, ya know?
-
Not sure if it's what you're referring to but the reduced cost is because of the removal of the BBQ and Chili and We're Gonna Live Forever bonuses. They didn't mention the match making incentives at all or any other BP offerings.
-
I like how so many players were just doom and gloom about the 6.1.0 update and BHVR kept saying "we're keeping a close eye on the changes" yet players still complained constantly like it's the end of the world. But now BHVR is actually doing what they said they'd do, kept an eye on updates and adjusting as needed.
-
It's a game from 2016 that was developed for PC only, got some success, and then was poorly ported to console under the assumption it wasn't gonna stick around long. The game was build on a plate of spaghetti and with each new update was tangled up even more making proper console optimization even harder as the years went…
-
The buffs to hit cool down and breaking speed are what made it worse to me. I never really ran any 2nd chance meta or get out of jail perks so overall my gameplay feels unchanged but the distance lost on a hit cuts many chases a lot shorter. Some of it may be the lack of DH for distance or opportunist killer players…
-
My idea is a ping wheel. Playing Back4Blood you can easily access a wheel that allows you to mark a location, say stop, show objective, thumbs up, thumbs down, and a spray paint tag. If DbD implemented something like that they could have ping location visible within x meters, chase, hiding, going to unhook, healing, and…
-
What would you change yours to?
-
Hmmm.... Haddie?
-
RE was a mess on release. Console lag and crash issues, RPD actually broke the game and had to be removed for a little while, among other bugs. The only chapter I can remember that came close to being as bad with all the bugs was Twins release where the killer was put live in an unfinished state, maps with hills had a…
-
You have a Nancy icon, why aren't you running Inner Healing? If you cleanse a totem you're either removing a Hex or lowering the chances of NOED and once you're unhooked if nobody heals you there's lockers all over the place.
-
Only thing I've noticed was the first game I tried to get the Undying time challenge on I brought Hag with a full Hex build on Midwich and within the first 30 seconds all of my Hexes were cleansed at the same time. I don't encounter many cheaters unless they're doing subtle speed hacks and I just don't notice.
-
Play "scummy" and learn to play what I call Chase Hag. Chase Hag is where you use 5-6 traps to build a web then reserve the rest for chases, shut down loops as they get to them with a trap near a pallet or the middle of a jungle gym and get the 2nd hit when they either greed the loop or have to cross a dead zone or circle…
-
5 sec BT (plus haste) basekit is a good starting point. The problem is the players that just assumed you no longer need to run BT to help counter tunneling, they mostly switched to OTR to help counter it in their builds. Do I think it could be extended to 8-10secs? Yes. Did the devs also say they're keeping a close eye on…
-
Exact same boat here. Or if I'm achievement hunting and have to finish a gen on a specific map and escape or trying to get an adept.
-
Killer queues are longer cause less people are playing survivor. Give it time for role incentives to be reinstated or try to play at a different time of the day. For my server region killer queues are around 2-3min and survivor are instant at peak hours, most other times of the day it's about 15-30 seconds for each role.
-
I play on PC with a controller and my advice is to use the power when you know you can get the hit (Survivor in the open, running to next tile, larger loops, etc.) or to traverse the map faster. Don't try fancy flicks or tight loops with his power on controller, it just adds more time to chases.
-
Not once in OPs post did they mention this. They are talking how jacked MMR is and venting frustration on that. To your point and tying in to OPs, they can't realistically gather data for balance fixes for either direction when MMR can skew kills or escapes by throwing a killer against a team of combined 20 hour survivors…
-
Except I don't like Dwight or Claudette but occasionally get a daily for them so they're sitting at P3 with default cosmetics. Or I never got around to getting Quentin, Laurie, Jill, or Cheryl to P1 before the update so they're still at P0 and I have 1500 hours in the game. Even no prestige is still absolutely no indicator…
-
The First of the Fallen, basically vertigo's Satan, cast into the pit before Lucifer even fell from grace. Cured Constantine of cancer before John tricked him to save his own soul The First pledged to destroy Constantine. Fitting better with DbD lore they could do a lesser demon or deacon of hell for the killer. Other…
-
Artist: same reasons you mentioned. Hag: just bored, it's either a massacre or a little bit of a struggle and I know exactly which in the first two minutes of the match. And it's almost always a 4k Sadako: I'm a sucker for a straightforward M1 killer with a fun side gimmick (Pinhead, Ghostie, Trapper, Clown) but she lacks…
-
True true, I don't think any bans would come from it though, unless it was a repeat offence since by OPs own admission it had been 2-3 minutes before they stopped patrolling and went to check basement. But I'm also not in the know on they mysteries of BHVRs report system lol
-
It would be if you hadn't found them.
-
Yeah, Its basically just a toggle for skill check wiggle at this point.
-
42, finished all challenges from level 1 and 2 and play at least one game of each role a night for the bonus rift XP for first match of the day.
-
No, when it explodes and continues regressing. I'm pretty sure old Overcharge if you tapped and missed the skill check it would explode but stop the regression. But I might just be losing it lol
-
It starts at 75 but you can't just tap it, if you do you get the skill check and it continues to regress, unless that's a bug they haven't fixed but ive been running Overcharge+Oppression abd when I kick a gen someone always comes and taps it, it explodes, and when I check it it's still regressing.
-
Would be nice to make it so a "Merciless" was simply a 4k and the pips for grades are their own separate thing. Like 0-1K "Entity Hungers", 2K "brutal", 3k "Ruthless" screens but emblems are separate. That way they don't have to change the achievements through the different clients since it's apparently an expensive and…
